  1. It's none of that. The crash occurs pretty much immediately, or within a minute or two, depending how much I provoke it, like going through a door in the Underground Hideout New Vegas V4-4 over and over. The game doesn't crash if I run vanilla, i.e. without mods. I don't have that mod installed, no, but I have another bug-fix mod called Mission Mojave - Ultimate Edition. I don't know which one is better. I don't know which one I should use, I have asked in the YUP thread but no-one seems willing to answer. And I don't know if I can use both.
  2. I'm no expert and I don't remember how this is supposed to look like but I'm pretty certain it isn't supposed to look like this. What's wrong? http://s27.postimg.org/gx9ysg6zm/Screen_Shot12.jpg Edit: A reinstall fixed it.
  3. I only have; -stutter remover -NMC's texture pack -Wasteland Flora Overhaul fertile -Mission Mojave - Ultimate Edition - MMUE 12 -Underground Hideout New Vegas V4-4 *I run the game with NVSE loader And that's it. Why does the game keep on crashing, usually at transitions between areas, like I open the door to the Goodspring Saloon and the game crash to desktop? It's intermittent too, as in it doesn't always happen, but frequently enough to make the game completely unplayable.
  4. I was never able to solve this problem. Now after a complete reinstall, a move from W7 to W10 and from The Radeon card to a GTX 970 at basically 1:1 trade, I managed to solve all problems. Everything now runs 100%. A bit sad, really, I don't think I have ever failed to fix anything like this in my 30+ years working with computers. I suppose the matter is closed. It's way above what Skyrim demands for a flawless playing experience at UHD with all settings at maximum. My problem must have been something ridiculously wonky without any way to fix it.
  5. One. More. Time; I was not upset, and the thread has been moderated and both his initial post as well as my response is still there, so it apparently passes the mod-check just fine. Reporting, either back then or now since the comment is still there, would therefore have had zero impact. Yeah, but I didn't do anything to the author's "files". It would be one thing if I was precluded from posting in the thread , that would actually make sense since that is where the "offence" took place, but no longer being able to access the files?! Wh... what possible benefit would come from that? Who benefits from that? Nexus? The mod author? Me?! It feels extremely draconian and completely nonsensical to restrict access to mods on such flimsy circumstances; 'I don't like you so now you shalt no longer play with my mod... muahaha'. Ridiculous. Whatever, one thing that has been made stupendously clear from this incident is that I will not become a Premium Member. Edit: You know I know that and that's not the point. Paying for Premium Membership is to support this site and everything in it. You think after this I'm currently in support? I'm not exactly jumping with joy, I can tell you that much. Edit2: And just to make it perfectly clear, you figure wrong, it wasn't. Posts has been deleted.
  6. Woah woah woah, I didn't do or say anything out of the ordinary, I wasn't upset, hence I can't technically apologize for it either. I simply asked if there was anyone who had the fixed files (since I don't know how to fix them myself), the author called me an idiot because I couldn't do it myself, I asked why I was called an idiot for asking if there was a fix for the mod, and here we are. There's nothing to apologize for. The only thing I can apologize for is basically asking for help, at all. Yeah, but this is, in my opinion completely unacceptable. Why am I asked to become a Premium Member for fifty quid for being insulted by mod authors who are free to ban me from downloading mods from the very site I paid for to download? I'm sorry, but that's just crazy. I can't possibly see why this system would be good for anyone.
  7. "and the Nexus staff will not get involved with unblocking your access, so do not contact the moderation team for help" and right next to this message is an advertisement to become a 'Premium Member'. So why would I possibly put down my hard earned money if this can happen? Seriously?! I was called an idiot in a specific mod thread by the author because I didn't know how to use TES5Edit to fix the author's own mod and I naturally took offense, and for that I was rewarded complete recession from the entire mod. This is complete lunacy. Is it supposed to work like this?
  8. I made a better video of the phenomenon with a FPS counter in the top left. In the corridor, it's liquid smooth 60 fps, like in 95% of the game, but if I turn around and walk into the next room, the FPS drops to ~28 FPS, in other words completely unplayable, and when I return to the corridor, the FPS returns to 60. https://youtu.be/G0thnYPb27s
  9. No. Some keys are hard coded and can not be changed. It's the same in basically all Bethesda games, including Fallout 4.
  10. Well, uhm, Skyrim uses hard bound keys so I can't. Anyway, 'ACTIVATE', which I have bound to 'X' pick up books, apparently. So, solved.
  11. It seems to only be indoors, especially around containers such as chests and it's the same for all Beth games, even Fallout 4 which ran flawlessly just a few days ago. If I run Skyrim in a window, the issue is completely gone. What's going on?!? https://youtu.be/mSRp_hVl4p8
  12. ยด Thought I'd try Skyrim again after having played and finished it at release but I'm having terrible graphical stuttering when I'm close to objects. With a computer that can run Fallout 4 on ultra, I have stuttering whenever I'm close to objects such as walls or furniture. For instance if I just walk down a street, it's smooth as butter on any resolution, low or ultra, but as soon as I look straight down at the ground, the image starts stuttering like I'm suddenly running at 15 FPS. This makes the game completely unplayable. It's the Legendary Edition completely vanilla, just installed running on a Radeon 290 with the latest drivers. Help
