This. Been having this issue since 1.5 released. had to start a new character but I wanna get into Far Harbor with my level 63 character!

The title of the post says it all, Fallout crashes to desktop after merely mousing over a double barreled shotgun in the weapon workbench. I can't seem to track this issue anywhere else and I can't see a cause for this seeing as the weapon isn't modded nor does it have any added mod options. Also even inspecting the weapon in my inventory leads to crashing. any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I have this exact same issue. I've tried everything and the only way I can get my primary save which has over 4 days of playtime logged is by deleting those lines which in turn disables all of my mods.

So, I found that I can load a save from which i've lost over 9 hours of playtime and an entire settlement to which most of that 9 hours was dedicated. I hope someone figures this out because at the moment, i'm a little burnt out on Fallout.

I've never had that mod in my load order. But, I have heard that's causing a problem for a lot of people having that issue.

Yep, same issue. I can't even load through the normal launcher let alone the F4SE launcher.

I wish I had the same luck. :sad: I uninstalled DefUI and my main save still crashes, i could however load another new character so i'm not quite sure what the issue is at the moment still.

It's ironic how they came out with the newest update this morning and yet the problem persists. This seems to be the only thread about the issue that I can find as well.

So, I've tried loading a male, and female character alike but the problem persists, like I said, I can load the game and go into a loading screen which then crashes after a couple of seconds.

Hello, up until this morning my fallout would work flawlessly. saves would load with no problem. This morning I attempted to load a save on which I had been working on a settlement only to find it crash to desktop after lingering on the loading screen for a couple seconds. So far I have tried verifying the cache, opting into the beta and using the unofficial patch, using LOOT to optimize my load order, and disabling recent mods which were installed before last night to no avail. I also made a new game which froze my computer towards the end of the vault 111 section, that also repeated the same issue. It should also be noted that I deleted the last section of the Fallout4Custom.ini and the save loaded no problem only to be missing mods and textures obviously so I would think that rules out the save being corrupted which is a relief. yes. I may just have to do that. When I installed the beta my F4SE wouldn't launch and so I installed the newest beta of F4SE. Do you think that could've effected something?

Just tried all of your suggestions to no avail. My game still doesn't recognize my activated mods on attempt to load a save, and my game continues to crash when entering the display menu.

Today I accidentally installed the survival mode beta unintentionally. After discovering this I promptly disabled betas for Fallout 4. After doing this however, I am unable to load a save game with my mods enabled but they still show up in NMM as enabled. ALSO, if I attempt to enter the display settings menu on the main screen, I get an immediate CTD. I have tried LOOT, disabling recent mods, verifying the integrity of the cache, and checked the version of my GPU drivers. I can't seem to find these issues anywhere else and I am at wit's end. Help would be much appreciated! My system specs: Intel I5 4590 Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 Corsair vengeance 8GB RAM Asrock Z97M Pro 4 Mobo EVGA Supernova 650

Opted into the beta by accident as well, unchecked that immediately. now my mods still aren't showing up as well. To make matters worse, when I try to access the display menu my game immediately CTD's. I hope someone can find a fix, this is extremely frustrating.

Would anyone be willing to create a mod where instead of the whole sword glowing there is just runes going up and down the blade? Not unlike the witcher 3 in a sense! You could also incorporate the effect into hammers and axes as well! I feel it would fit in very well in the game and could be a very popular mod!

Is there a possibility of a corner peeking mechanic for skyrim sneaking? possibly with an addtional sneak perk where you can fire a bow around said corner or something similar? I feel this type of skill could be quite useful in certain situations and just downright cool. Thank you for taking your time to read this!

Has anyone yet retextured the lost longswords glass and elven swords to match BGM glass and elven armors? I feel that i speak for many when i request this retexture! i would love to see something like this done! Happy modding!

Is there a chance that someone could make or is in the process of making Garretts actual armor from thief in skyrim? i've seen the h34dup interpretation of the armor in skyrim and i was wondering if it was possible to create a replica or more accurate representation of the armor as i believe it would fit into the game well enough as it its! The game is actually fantastic despite the FPS cap and aggravating parkour at times! Definitely worth a look!

I was wondering if anyone has ever done any different color variations on stahlrim armor? Like a red or turquoise variation? Also maybe like a stahlrim mage armor would be interesting to see? I personally would like to see a less flashy armor with some subtler stahlrim embellishments? if anyone plans to do this or if this is already out there please let me know!

Hello! I recently installed project ENB which i absolutely love! It runs great on my computer at about 40 frames all time on high settings with minimal stutters! So i went and adjusted my skyrim graphics settings down in the hopes of eliminating the stutters completely and was met with a bigger issue. Now when i launch the game after doing so i get random flashes of colors and buildings and NPCs and such become transparent at times and when i enter interiors and stand idle my screen eventually goes black. I also get terrible frame drops now and i have no idea how to proceed! Any help with this issue, even suggestions would be fantastic! Thank you for your input! Much love.
