  1. Thanks for the suggestion, Vactrol. Problem solved. I enabled the "use preferred pathing?" option in the packages and painted the navmeshes adequately. It was right there under my nose all this time. Argh.
  2. Is the follower flagged as "unique" ? Otherwise, you cannot set relationships. Making a custom (humanoid) follower has to be the simplest thing to do. It can be done in 5 minutes top. Just read/watch the countless tutorials on the subject.
  3. Thanks again. I'll have a look at all these precious informations. This personal mod I am working on is by far the most ambitious I have started and I struggle with all sorts of mechanisms in the CK, namely delays between idles in idle markers and custom bards not respecting their schedule (singing 24/7 whatsoever). Creation Engine or CK is a real b****. :pinch:
  4. Thanks for the answer, thumbingcubation. The wall in question is my own doing. It's actually a stable I placed in the worldspace so I cannot delete navmeshes to fit the building. I'll have a look for a possible multiple-travel package. Maybe I missed it.
  5. Hello I am trying to make an npc sandbox at point A then go and sandbox at point C but I want him/her to pass by point B, then back to point A via point B, rinse repeat. Without point B, he/she ends up stuck up against a wall on the way to either point A or C, so him/her going through point B is essential. What is the simplest way to achieve that ? I thought I knew but I don't. I made four simple packages : Sandbox A at 9:00 am, duration 15hrs Travel to B at 0:Any am, duration 0hrs Sandbox C at 0:00 am, duration 9hrs Travel to B at 9:Any am, duration 0hrs I tried variations like changing minutes, travel package duration (minimum is 0.25 hr), and/or enabling the "must complete" flag but I end up with either an ignored package or the npc teleporting (which I don't want)... So... There must be a simple and elegant (?) way to make this happen but I can't see how. Anybody knows ?
  6. A bit late but it might be useful to someone else looking for a solution. Check the tattoos and dirt colors of your npc in the CK. Especially if you imported a face saved ingame with "savepcface". This command seems utterly bugged in SE as you end up with black tattoos and dirt colors most of the time. Just change these to "color average", Ctrl+F4 and it should be fine.
  7. CWSS Redux adds craftable usable sinks, shower, bathtubs, toilets, etc... https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14326/? NPC even use them if you allow them to. A flawless mod.
  8. I have encountered problems too. I use a mod that replaces quicksave. Every time I use it while ENB is active, there are stretched meshes everywhere. To a point I thought my gfx card was the culprit.
  9. Hello VTMZ Your mod list is quite small. I suggest you try to desactivate one at a time to find the culprit or an eventual conflict.
  10. A liitle late but this kind of topic never gets old, doesn't it ? :D I understand your frustration, Skyzr88. I have entirely stopped playing Skyrim for this very reason; after spending more hours trying to get a stable (and smaller and smaller) load order than actually playing (and of course) crashing. If I had a piece of advice to provide, it would be to use Mod Organizer instead of NMM. It probably won't make Skyrim more stable (in my case, it did not) but it will save you a lot of hassle from installing and re-installing Skyrim... I have come to the conclusion that Skyrim is not really a moddable game. It's even less moddable (stability wise) than ones that are not supposed to be. Finally what I'd really like to know is if vanilla pristine Skyrim ever CTDs too... If anyone could shed some light on this... Because there is no way I'd play an unmodded Skyrim again.
  11. Well try it and observe what happens. Who knows ? You might have a surprise. And if your character's spouse sadly stands in the kitchen all night long watching the paint dry, you still can suggest the author to add cell traveling in his mod.
  12. I think it was more of Steam's idea than BethSoft's, seeing as how they use Workshop for other games and released the Space Core mod to get people inspired. I also think that Workshop's a lot easier for newbie modders to get their heads around. But inevitably Nexus shall always be superior. Bethsoft or Steam... Does it matter ? As for the workshop being easier for new users, yes. But you don't even learn the basics of mod installing with the Workshop as the process is completly automatic.
  13. How strange. I am currently using Better Vampires and my character has kept her face, apart from orange eyes and somewhat hollow cheeks...
  14. Bethesa missed the point with their workshop. They assumed the "click and play" mentality would seduce PC players but they were wrong. This belongs to console players. Most PC users are tinkerers and tweakers. So they prefer Nexus. :)
  15. I am no modder at all but I shall give my impression on that, based on my experience with house mods. So far, I have seen only one instance where followers/spouses would move from cell to cell : it is in "Breezehome for power users". I was shocked ! :D Someone might correct me on this but I presume the mod author has to specifically alter navmeshes or whatever for this to happen. PS : Forgot "luxury suite" where people exit and bathe outside. But I believe this is due to heavy scripting unlike Bfpu.
