I recently re-released my old Wrath of the Lich King mod, but I am thinking of remaking it on a bigger scale. Instead of Northrend being a Pocket Shard of Oblivion, what if everything was in Atmora? But them comes up a problem... at what SCALE do I build everything in? ES Lore Terms, which are gigantic, in WoW's visual scale, which is almost as big, or shall I stick with Skyrim's scale of things? What do you think? I am working with one other guy, he's created custom versions of a lot of existing models to make it more LOD friendly, and he very much wants everything to be as massive as possible, strictly along Elder Scrolls Lore, which means... whatever you see in Skyrim? Icebergs, glaciers, mountains - all of that would be tiny in comparison to what my friend wants me to build. Take Castle Volkihar, the Dawnguard vampire castle, k? Now make that 10, 20, 30 times bigger. That's more or less the scale of just Icecrown Citadel. 15 times is more... likely, but still. It would be truly enormous. What do you people think I should do? Because I am the only one really building everything, and with some anxiety/stress problems I can't get rid of, not to mention my desire to make everything fit more into the Skyrim engine, not the Elder Scrolls lore... me and my friend are at a bit of an impasse. Also, any other suggestions or ideas would be welcome. New input and other opinions would help a lot!

Medieval Mandalorians could've existed on Earth. They didn't, but their warrior code kind of existed in several cultures. Brother/sisterhood and honour, skill, talent, unity. THIS IS THE WAY. So medieval takes on the Mandalorians as mods for games, it would work. -

Yeah porting it from 76 should be more or less okay, it's... just mods, and same engine. Though might be some legal issues, so this would actually make a good Creation Club mod, a really good one. So here is what they should do if they wanna sell it. FALLOUT 76 CONTENT PACK Contents: All musical instruments from Fallout 76 Some of the weapons from 76, like the 10mm Sub-machine Gun - it's honestly the best version of the 10mm so far. Not even the mod on the Nexus is as good, but its damned close! A few other weapons to add: Black Powder Pistol and Black Powder Rifle (basically the bloody musket!), the Dragon - teh 4-barrel Musket rifle, it packs a nigh-absurd punch! Slow as heck to reload, but fun! Also the Pump-Action shotgun, 50cal Machinegun, Gatling gun, light machine gun (MG-42), plasma caster and gatling plasma. Some of the outfits that are from FO76 as well and their Atomic Shop. And a whole bunch of furniture, and some unique NPCs. If not added in CC, then modders dedicated enough can just copy it straight out, or reconstruct it from the ground up in the Creation Kit. One mod I really bad want though is to be able to customize the Minutemen inside the game using Mannequins specifically scripted to alter the loadout and outfit of the entire faction, having up to 5 distinct primary outfit, like a standard Soldier, a Support, a Heavy Gunner and a Specialist/Sniper, the 5th being in power armor and thus rather rare. That, or have normal containers for it. If not possible, then mods are the way to go, but to have that level of freedom would be great. Would also allow flag changing, but like I said, seem a bit too much to ask for, but I've seen far more ambitious ideas before, and they've worked out fine. Thats my brainstorming for the day.

Synth Battle Droid replacer

There was a mod that replaced Gen1-2 synths with B1 Battle Droids but it's been deleted - the very PAGE ITSELF was deleted. Seems Disney went vigilante on Nexus. -
I am in extreme need of help. I've been trying for weeks to make this bastard work properly in the SSE Creation Kit. http://unoffical-elder-scrolls-lore-folios.wikia.com/wiki/Atmora S adly, since the ESP goes over 6 Megabytes, it can never be edited again if I exit the CK after saving. I have to build all of Atmora and smoothen the ground under the water along the coastlines, but I can't do it all in one go, it takes too long, so right now, I can't work at it at all. Me and my friend are rapidly going batty over the horribly bad programming of the Creation Kit and the disasterously bad processing capacity it has in this case. I really badly need someone to build Atmora for me, really badly, or I will likely have to give up on a DLC-sized mod. A massive amount of content is completed and all we need is a landmass, but as long as the CK remains the most crash-prone modding program ever invented, the mod is pretty much scrapped. I dearly hope someone is willing to help. I've tried to get help for 5 years. I'd hate to give up hope and start thinking of most modders as hateful elitists and discriminatory bigots. I don't think this of any yet - except those known and exposed as such, but... uuurgh. As I said. 5 years asking for help, and I only have ONE person helping me since 6 months ago, but he is no builder. I am. But neither of us are that good with the heightmap. And with a modding program that very much hates big files, we're stuck. Someone please help.

I think I managed to make a 128x128 worldspace by setting the 4 settings to upper being -64, 64, and the lower being 64, -64. Seems to have worked. 64 in every direction from the center makes 128x128. Sounds .... weird, but if it works I'll be very pleased. -
Clarification on Mod Limit

I am probably an idiot for hoping, but maybe someday the limit can be upped... in any case, combining mods is also a good idea. If enough modders allow it, people can combine simpler mods, or gigantic mods, as long as they don't require too many other mods. Or maybe mod A needs mods G, H, L, M, N and T to work properly. Combine it into one. The more mod compilations, the more mods you technically have, tehy just use one ESP. Won't work for consoles sadly, unless their H drives are really fecking huge... -

If someone manages to pull this off, I think the makers of the droid mod would have to base it on the Gen1 and Gen2 Synth skeleton design so they can carry hand-held weapons if they're like B1 droids. The B2 could be based on the Assaultron's skeleton - after sufficient damage the parts will lose their armor plating and then the whole part would come off, like a leg or arm. -
Got a big issue that just occured as I turned off the PC for an update. Went into the Ck and loaded yp the mod and went into the open world. EVERYTHING IS BLACK or coated in extreme darkness. It is not a texture, it is like the light data of an interior cell has invaded the worldspace. It is constant darkness or shades of it. Messed with settings like a moron and it just doesnt work. I have no idea what is going on and I can't find any info on it. I can find tons of problems with black TEXTURES, but nothing about the weather or shaders going solid black everywhere. It effectively renders everything.... impossible to navigate. And this issue is EVERYWHERE, literally everywhere, even the vanilla game! Help please! Deleting the Ck and reinstallign it to reset everything just in case.

Got this too, but only the old CK for old Skyrim, SECreation Kit works fine. But both worked fine on Win7, now I am on Win10. I think the 32bit CK is incompatible with Windows 8 and 10. Going to try and use it in compability more for Win7. EDIT: ....Nnnope. That's not it. -

Yeah THIS has to be fixed ASAP. Technically it is easy, in theory. Fidn the proper animation for Guard Post, remove it and add the animation that the Goodneighbour or Diamond City guards use when they 'stand guard'.Trick is finding the damned thing. Yeah, I got patches of completely BLACK skin, and this applies to all NPCs. And the body skin is the same on all NPCs, only the face retains the skin colour it should have. -

Plus I need his help... if he ever will help me again. I'll understand somewhat if he never will though, and I have to accept that. I can't exactly force him to help me or even care, it is entirely up to him. I'd share more information, but that is a bit... personal for him, I think. Could be wrong though. I just don't know anymore. Hope he is OK. -

Originally it was to save memory. Don't render what you can't normally see because it takes up processing power. But with today's engines and average computer specs there really isn't any good reason why more developers shouldn't be doing more immersive 1st person views. Simple. Bethesda were lazy. LAAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. They just didn't want to give a f*ck. They couldn't afford the money, time, care, ability, manpower and "just work"s to do it.- 76 replies

contraptions items not showing up

Got a similar issue. The CONDUIT menu from Contraptions is utterly erased from the game. And it is the only menu that is missing. And I have no idea which menu-altering mod is the cause. Only ONE mod alters the menu's inside POWER, and that is SOE - Settlement Objects Expansion, but the author told me just now it is not that mod. So if I have 15 mods that alter all menu's BUT the POWER one, and all thigns there are present, how come SOE causes it but still doesn't? .... am I making any sense here? And Snap'N'Build is erased now from the Nexus, so that is not it. Plus it doesn't go into Power, it goes into Structures. -
Got this problem myself. The mdos are installed in NMM, but when I decide to load my save, it says the mods are missing. ALL 200 OF THEM. I reinstalled the game, removed the mods, made a new save, new char and all, no mods, went through Vault 111 and into Sanctuary, talked to the Cod, then saved and reinstalled all mods. THEY'RE STILL MISSING, and loading a mod-free save causes a crash with mods enabled. Going to delete everything either way though, my Windows 7 has been sabotaged or malwared to hell, there are no errors anymore, lol Going Win10, wish me luck. I'll need it...

Yeah, there used to be a Lich King armor mod for Spec Ed, but it's removed now.
