  2. I remember seeing a mod for a backpack that also had a rifle attached to it, but I can't find it anywhere. I think it also had multiple versions, where it could be slung at an angle. Am I imagining things?
  3. Has anyone created a mod like the "Signature Weapons" mod for New Vegas? http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/43557 Would be nice to use some of the lower level bows instead of the ridiculous looking higher level ones.
  4. Any way to put the shroud effect from Ebony Mail when you crouch onto the DBA robes and armor? Not even really concerned about the enchantment, but having the shroud effect when sneaking (which is purely aesthetic) would be pretty sweet.
  5. Risen is an open world game similar to Skyrim that had static levels of enemies. The big difference between that game and this though is that in Skyrim you're encouraged to explore everywhere early on but in Risen straying from the early game low level path could get you killed easily (though was always fun!). I agree with what you say, but I don't think it would turn out as well as you think. The game basically detects your level when you enter an area and spawns enemies according to your level, and every time you revisit that area the enemies will be the same. If you take away that system then players will be forced to go down a narrow path to avoid encounters that are too difficult for them, and unlike Risen conquering these tougher battles would not yield any significant benefits. The system is flawed, but I don't think that static levels will fix it.
  6. True, but I wonder if it would work the other way around (adding Alistair after he leaves). Interesting that there hasn't been a mod made for this that could at least have them stand around in different places, or let you choose which of the 3 wardens makes the US.
  7. Is it possible for anyone to do a modification that will prevent Alistair from leaving the party if you have Loghain undergo the joining? Obviously there are mods that add followers, so I guess it should be possible that if you have Loghain undergo the joining instead of having Alistair leave, have the game run a script to keep Alistair and simply "add in" the new follower, which is Loghian. The main problem I could see arising is the dialogue trigger right before the slaying of the archdemon. The mod would either have to dictate which dialogue is triggered (one with Alistair, or one with Loghain), or modify the existing dialogue to encompass the new possibilities. Is this doable? It seems odd that there isn't a mod for this already, as I know I'm not the only one that's desired to sacrifice Loghain without having to lose Alistair from the party.
  8. Yep, but he is still king, and will be there for awakenings :) Technically true, but in terms of playability not. If you harden Alistair and have him marry Anora and also take Loghain and sacrifice him, then 1) you still can't have Alistair in the party, because even though he still becomes king he still won't stay with you, and 2) even in awakening at the beginning when you're visited by royalty, then if you hardened Alistair and had him marry Anora IT STILL ACTS AS IF HE'S NOT KING. Anora acts as regent in awakening, not Alistair. I too would like to know if there's a mod available that allows you to have both Loghain and Alistair in the party together, as the fact that Alistair has a hissy fit and leaves is pretty bad writing imho.
