I played on Expert with a barbarian (2 handed weapon, light armor) and it is challenging. I played on Expert with a mage slayer mage (1 hand+shield, no armor, mostly melee with spells) and it is really challenging. Archers rape me... Nothing will stop them.

This is gonna be a quick one. I grabbed myself the arrow blocking perk for shields but they almost never seem to block arrows. I realize the shield has to be pointed in the right direction to block the arrow but I wonder if anyone else feels as if the shield's hit box is way too small. Should I request a mod for this or is there something I'm not getting?
