  1. Create a mod page, but don’t make it public/publish…keep it hidden. This should give you an ID. Then use the ID in your strings files… then upload your mod files to your mod page… then unhide/publish the page.
  2. Uninstall all the stuff you added recently (i.e. when you began to experience this problem), then reinstall one or two mods at a time and test until you find the cause. Regards, Hem
  3. It depends, but, when in doubt -- rebuild your patch each time you add, delete or change any mods. So -- YES. Regards, Hem
  4. Hmmm...tried Enhanced Economy? I seem to recall it has support for both FCOM and Arma. Regards, Hem
  5. I have never used Oblivion card collectors; however, using Wrye Bash to merge leveled lists changes and BOSS to sort your load order should work (in theory). Because you are using FCOM, I am assuming you are also using Wrye Bash. Regards, Hem
  6. Do NOT use the FCOM Homepage to install and/or download FCOM and its component mods. That page is YEARS out of date. The original host/author of the FCOM Homepage has been absent from the mod scene for well over a year. Instead, follow the instructions for installing FCOM found in the UFCOM thread on Bethesda's official Oblivion mod forum --------------------------> HERE Hope this helps. Regards, Hem
  7. You don't need to open (or otherwise alter with GIMP, etc.) any .dds files, unless you are making your own re-texture mod. Regards, Hem P.S. ...and what Striker879 said.
  8. So many possibilites as to the cause in the absence of more complete information. Are you using some form of Archive Invalidation? To learn more about running modded Oblivion, I suggest you check out TESIV Positive (great guide and website by Tomlong75210). Regards, Hem P.S. As suggested above, both FormID Finder and RefScope can help you find out which mod is the source of a particular missing mesh or texture.
  9. You could try Kamikaze's Animation Selector. This mod requires a bit of work to set up, but allows you to build or combine sets of animations from animation replacer mods of your choosing, and to switch between your custom built sets on the fly. NPCs use the animations as well, and you can control which animations NPCs use while reserving some for your character alone. Kamikaze's work is quite the virtual sandbox. Alternatives to DR...perhaps Adrenaline-Fueled Combat by Talkie Toaster? Just a few suggestions.... Regards, Hem
  10. Post your load order using Wrye Bash to generate a load order list -- if you want help. Happy modding! Regards, Hem
  11. Do you mean Tamriel Travellers? Great mod, if so, and it does not require Living Economy. I am not a big fan of Streamline, but many users with older machines swear by it. I would recommend Oblivion Stutter Remover. OSR requires OBSE, but OBSE is easy to install and is required by many wonderful mods....so it is worth getting. The Kvatch Rebuilt download package includes an .esp/plugin file named 'Kvatch Rebuilt - OOO Compatibility.esp.' No other downloads are needed. Hope this helps. Regards, Hem
  12. Use Fast Exit. Note that Fast Exit requires OBSE, but then, so do many, many important Oblivion mods. Regards, Hem
  13. Post your load order, please. And do you use BOSS to sort your load order? If not, you should. And, do you use Archive Invalidation, through Wrye Bash or otherwise? If not, you should. And...what Maxine77 said... Regards, Hem
  14. I ran into this problem recently, myself. The way I fixed it was to follow the procedure outlined in the Wrye Bash documentation for generating a bug dump....effectively 'kick starting' Wrye Bash... Wrye Bash launched. Still no bug dump, but the command prompt window informed me that (I guess) comtypes were generated... The launcher appears to work now. Regards, Hem
  15. Good advice. Enhanced Economy is the arguably the current standard in economy modifications for Oblivion, plus it adds some retrieval quests that provide additional goals to help keep your dungeon diving interesting. Regards, Hem
