  1. I'm trying to figure out how I can change a couple of NPCs appearances from the CM Partners mod like for example the Redguard females all have pale skin or others have wide faces. I tried using the CS but I don't really know how to use it well. I opened up CM Partners.esp and selected the person I want from NPC > [Race] > [Gender]. Then I change their look(which crashes half the time) and when I'm done, I can't even save over the same .esp file. I spent a few hours on this and I'm about to give up and stick with my weirdos. I'd figured I could ask here and maybe get a few tips on how to do it.
  2. Ok, so I am getting crazy lag/stuttering a few days ago. I haven't installed any mods in a week and last week, the game ran fine. But over the weekend, this problem occurred. I have OSR installed, 4GB patch, and this lag even occurs in a new game so it can't be a save file issue. I doubt it is a hardware issue as I have an i7 8700k and a 1080 GTX (why I am playing a game over a decade old with this I do not know). I'm not sure what else it could be. Here's the list of mods I use if you want to go digging through it: Can any of you guys help me figure this one out? I sure can't.
  3. Then the mod author replies... Literally just 5 posts down on the mod page. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
  4. I'm looking at these two mods and I can't decide which one to pick. I'm afraid installing both would cause some incompatibility issues especially since I'm using OOO. What do you guys think?
  5. Sorry for the late reply. I have tried the compatibility patches but it did not work. I'm thinking maybe it's the load order? Here it is: Active Mod Files: I know it's a lot to sort through but do you think it could be also the number of mods that is causing these errors?
  6. I am using better cities and unique landscapes(as well as a bunch more) and when I get to Bruma, the west half of the town is buried under the ground. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
  7. I've been recently modding Oblivion and after using Robert's body mods and OCO, my female Altmer's skin uses the same texture as the Imperial female. What ends up happening is the Altmer ladies have yellow faces with pale bodies and ears. Something similar happens with the Redguards as well but it's not that much of a problem since they are slightly darker in skin tone though I would like them to be as dark as black people.
  8. I have found 2 mods that seem great when it comes to owning your own shop but both are placed in Chorrol and one of them (T&C) blocks the path of wondering NPCs with the Better Cities mod. Maybe there is one and I might have missed it but I think it would be great to own a shop in every city to generate some gold. Personally I like Pats Business model in which a shop runs itself but if anyone is interested in this idea, it's up to you.
  9. Google hasn't been so kind to me and the only thing I figured out about changing the leveling up progress is editing the perks. The main gist of my mod is that I want to lower health(which btw how does the game calculate 50 hp/mp/st as 100 ingame?) and upon leveling up give the player a choice from +10 to hp/mp/st to +5/+3 and maybe even including 1 additional perk too. I'm also considering modifying the weapon and armor values to make the game feel more balanced but that is a discussion for another thread.
  10. If that's true then how are people modding right now? Just curious.
  11. I'm pretty sure there is a way but since I'm new to modding, I wouldn't know where to look. What I'm specifically looking for is to increase the number of enemies in any given location. I wonder if it's scripted to have a certain number of enemies in each place or it's randomized? While I'm at it, I might as well say what I have in mind for a mod of mine. I want to make the game feel more fast paced by having more enemies, each with much less health(except player, companions, and bosses), highly increase armor and weapons rating, make magic stronger by making enemies more susceptible to certain elements, and maybe tweak the leveling system a bit. I know, I know, it seems all too much for a noob to handle but I want to see first if having more enemies would make the game more fun for me. I actually feel like I'm having more fun playing the melee class in Killing Floor than I do with my warrior character simply because I can kill fast and be killed fast. Skyrim, like the other games, is fun at first then when I hit higher levels with higher difficulty, I end up swinging my sword like a dozen or so times on one guy and that gets kind of boring after a while. I probably said more than I needed to(and probably not the right place to post this lol), so I'll just leave it like that.
