  1. I took the male daedric armor (the one with the "_1" at the end) and made the shoulder/pauldraons symmetrical. At first, I just tried copying and pasting the skin information from the original mesh to the new, but that didn't work as the mesh wouldn't even move with the bone. I then applied the skin wrap modifier and I ran into a problem where the new armor isn't deforming properly on one side. The left side is fine, but the right side is messed up. To fix this, I figured that I would mirror the verts on the left into the right side, but that came out messed up too. The left side began to take control of the right and it looks like the skin data isn't even mirrored. Earlier, I successfully edited the daderic _0 mesh with no issues. With that one, I just basically copied and pasted the skin modifier from the original to the new. That's all I did and everything was deforming properly. The _1 mesh is another story. I would really appreciate any input/advice that anyone here may have. Here's what I'm talking about: http://www.screencast.com/t/aebaIhFWg4 This one too: http://www.screencast.com/t/WgfhBY4an
  2. @ throttlekitty Thank you very much, you nailed it, that was the exact problem. When I exported the mesh, I didn't export the vertex colors. I went back to my edited mesh and re-exported everything with the vertex colors and everything is perfectly fine now. Thanks again. I really appreciate your help.....especially since I've been asking for help in other threads in this forum and your the only one who even bothered to try and help me. Take care.
  3. @ throttlekitty Yes I have, I was able to edit the daedric helmet just fine, but that mesh didn't have any of these glow map stuff. As you can see, the armor is another issue. I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of adjusting some data within my mesh with nifskope to correspond with the original daedric armor, but I just don't know what to change. I hope someone can shed some light on my problem.
  4. Can someone here help me out please? I'm having a glow map issue. I edited the daedric armor with 3ds max 2012 and finished off the editing with nifskope. When I copy the NiAlphaProperty of the original daedric mesh into mine, i get the issue below. If I don't add that line, the armor looks fine, but is won't have the glowing parts. http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/7326/frontwh.th.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/9882/backtup.th.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us How can I make the glow look like how it should? If anyone knows, I would really appreciate the help.

  7. Whenever I try to edit duncan's hair, the male braided ponytail hair, or any hair by getting rid of or combining certain parts, I get this weird result in game. It looks like there are breaks in the hair where you see lines coming down the middle and side of the hair. Take a look at the pic below. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o44/dasupashiznit/pic.jpg Even with just simply editing duncan's hair by deleting the earring causes the same result. If I had to guess, the problem is probably because of a modifier setting that I didn't do. With that in mind, does anyone know how to solve this problem?
  8. I want it to act like the other sustained abilities where it's actually sustained until I turn it off. What do I need to edit, I know that it's either the 2da or the script pertaining to this ability right? On another forum, someone mentioned a way to edit the script for this ability by saying, "This can be done by opening ability_h and commenting out or deleting lines 1470 to 1473 and then recompiling module_core. Afterwards go to Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Packages/Core/Override/Toolsetexport and delete everything except module_core.NCS." If this is indeed the way to accomplish what I want, can someone clarify the process for me. I'm lost at the "recompiling module_core" part. I hope someone would be kind enough to lend a hand.
