The modder who created Semsia; Walks for Female NPCs is very obliging about adding new companions to his mod quickly. I suggest posting in the comments section at the link I've provided. That way, you only need to use his program, and the Vwalk file he supplies for Feria won't count as a mod slot: all the more room to load more mods, if you need it.
-
I suggest trying BOSS. FCOM's very tricky to make stable even without a lot of other mods, such as you have. BOSS is very good at establishing a working relationship between its various pieces, and with other major mods such as Tamriel Travelers. Give it a shot, and pay attention to the final recommendations.

As to the second part of your response, I am mainly looking for small, but challenging quest mods to add in. possibly some sort of package deal, it's nice when I know what works together before hand.
Werewolf: Legends of the North. No, it's not short, but it is challenging, and in a very good way.
I also suggest you check out this tool: TOQL. It lists a ton of Oblivion quest mods broken out by size. Bear in mind that small minds aren't usually as difficult as longer ones, because it is presumed that if you're looking for something short, your character isn't as much of a veteran as some. So it's a tradeoff.

So which mod is it? And assuming it's a mod with variants, which one? Exnem? HGEC? Female Roberts? DMRA? We can recommend suitable clothing/armor mods.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a mod to improve the potion creation screen, since I find the original UI very slow and ineffective.
I'd like a mod that makes it easier to find the right ingredients, so I don't have to look through all items everytime.
I don't want any changes on the potions themselves, though.
Any suggestions?
Thank you for your time
I strongly suggest Alchemy Advanced. And of course, you should have COBL installed, so that alchemy apparatus installed in a house mod lets you define the ingredients you want simply by naming the effects.

It seems they have nothing more than what I've seen on the Nexus and Planet Elderscrolls...
Modem's City Life includes children. I've been using the mod for a year at least, and will see them run by occasionally down the street, or join up with groups of kids and run further away.

You might want to check around--I seem to recall seeing some mods that convert armor/clothing for other body types to HGEC. I think there's one that does that for the armor sets added by Francesco's, for example.
-
My first thought was that you should disable all your mods, load, go to a new interior cell, save the game--exit, reload, and play for just a bit before making a new save in a new interior cell. Then re-check your mods, and try once more.
If that doesn't work, then try contacting the modder for CM Partners, who probably knows a console command that will help reset sharing.
By the way, is that your load order? Because the CM Partners ESP should be pretty near the top of your load order, and certainly before any race mods--which should in turn be before any partner mods that depend upon them.
-
Several of those mods I don't recognize. My best suggestions would be:
1) Run BOSS. It will not only reorganize your load list, it will also point out problem areas and make suggestions. From experience, it pays to listen to what it says.
2) Install Wrye Bash. It has a lot of complex tools, but also some basic ones that are excellent--including the ability to merge ESPs and objects, depending upon support.

Hi, I'm looking for "Duke Patrick's the lady said no!" but I can't seem to find a copy of it available for download anywhere. Was it pulled down permanently.
I seem to recall DP's comments on the Bethsoft boards to the effect that following its code along was just getting too complex and time-consuming, and that he didn't regard it as finished, by any means. You might trying contacting him about it, but the rest is up to one of the best modders around.

Okay so I installed oblivion regular everything works. Played through some. Downloaded and put on about nine mods. Whenever I die the game will crash whenever I load the game save before then it crashes. The obvious *Oblivion has encountered an error and needs to close* from microsoft.
So I was wondering what I should do...
Been playing a while and don't want to start over
Could someone post a link?
Halp?
First, provide us with that list of mods, in your loading order.
Also, how much memory have you got?

It's not being stupid. Your companion mod simply can't find the race mod it's dependent upon by name, and to which its content points. You can't combine them without a lot of internal editing. It also has nothing to do with making a companion mod, which is a separate thing. I suggest getting some familiarity with how to make companions. There are tutorials around for that purpose.

Well, the Books about Conan the barbarian were written before the 70's and if i'm not wronk there are lots of hot babes in skimpy armors in those stories.
True about Howard's Conan tales. However, the chainmail stuff only got going after Boris Vallejo began doing the artwork for some of the 1980s fantasy fiction. That started a trend, and pretty soon, everybody was following it. Boringly.

You'll definitely want to check out Malevolent if you want a very atypical, roleplay-intensive quest mod, then.
-
Might want to hold off a month on Kragenir's--I am, because the modder is supposed to be releasing a major update later this month.
-
Lots of quest mods, if that's what you want. Look here: TOQL. Note that many things on the list have their own websites as well, and threads over at the Bethsoft forums where you can often get a sense how well they play. Here's a selection of the ones I've got loaded and am very, very slowly wading through:
Windfall
Bartholm
Dexwood Family Saga
Lost Sword of the Ayleid
Heart of the Dead
Quest for the Elements
Wellspring Grove
Liberation of Cybiades
The Lost Spires
Tears of the Fiend
Dremora Companion
Have fun!

Also, COBL Races needs the COBL beauty pack... I think its called something like COBL Cosmetic Resources.
Yeah, it is.
Might be good if you post your entire load list here, in order.
-
I'll try it again. I think i figured out the error. i have a feeling cobl's race additions might've been the cause for weirded characters. ill get back to you on it.
If the problem is COBL Race, and you're running Wrye Bash, you can place the Aliyah mod after your Bashed Patch, and remove the issue. That way, your companion mod won't be merged with COBL Race.
-
Deleting an esp does not completely get rid of a mod. You will also have to go into the meshes, textures, sounds and any other subfolders that it puts things into and remove those entries as well.
If he reinstalled over it, however--assuming there were no new files--that should cover removing the old entries. Demorvus, when you install from the archive, you are selecting the option to override old files, correct? Otherwise, you're leaving the old potentially corrupted stuff in place.
-
Did you actually erase the version you edited, or is it still around?
-
i downloaded frostmourne sword, but the 7z files in my documents now i can't seem to open it, what do i do?
Install WinRAR. It can open a lot of archive formats, including 7z.
If it responds that your 7z archive is corrupt, than it is, and you'll need to download the Sword mod, again.

Age of Decadence. No question at all. It looks to achieve a level of involvement with individual NPCs and complex NPC factions that hasn't been seen in RPGs for ages.

Hi. A while ago I tried to install the Aliyah companion mod. It didn't seem to work and my game crashed like crazy; also, people's faces turned purple. Is there an area that gives detailed instructions on how to install it via obmm? thanks. Also, do I need any other mods to make the companion mod work...vanilla oblivion here except for OOO.
You have CM Partners running, correct?
-
It was placed right after the .esm files but now it is loaded last.
So are you still having the problem?

It might help to know what mods these are, and what your loading order is. (Right click on the header above all your mods in Wrye, select "List mods," and copy everything to here, including the mentions of "codebox.")
