Now it's just crashing whenever. Fantastic. And don't worry, you didn't make me feel dumb. "Pardon my stupid" is something I say whenever I'm about to ask something that's probably obvious.

I can fast travel, play for half an hour, and then fast travel again and it crashes. Pardon my vast stupidity, but could the issue be that I have too many mods and that's causing the game to crash?

Fast travel once? No problem. Fast travel another time? Crash to desktop. This happened after I downloaded the BHUNP body mod and BodySlide. (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31126) The problem did not go away after I deactivated them. If I run the game using SKSE64, the game runs pretty smoothly despite the SKSE64 dependent mods not activating. However, if I run using SKSE64, the game will crash in a matter of minutes. Without Enhanced Genetics, the game crashes. And that's after rebuilding the bashed patch. I can't seem to start the game without Oblivion Reloaded unless I uninstall it entirely - which I don't know how to do. This probably has something to do with my AMD graphics card.

Attached is a picture of my issue. Anyone have any idea what's causing this? It must have something to do with Oblivion Reloaded and Enhanced Genetics Overhaul, because before I installed these two mods everything was working just fine. I'm sorry, I'm a tad confused. If the issue isn't with the bashed patch then why does the game work fine without it?

I've only installed two mods so far, User Interface Organizer and NVSE. I built the Bashed Patch and tested the game, only for it to crash before the Bethesda logo could appear. I rebuilt the patch - still crashing. I organized my small loadout in LOOT and then rebuilt the patch. Still crashing. Without the patch, it runs just fine. A little help? I plan on installing more mods and it'd be infinitely easier if the Bashed Patch worked.

I wiped everything. Deleted all my mods, deleted the game folder, and reinstalled the game twice. Finally, I found the issue. When I run the game through Mod Organizer 2, the animations stop working correctly. Heads roll around in a 360 spin, walking animations fail, and sometimes don't activate at all. FOSE or not, the animations don't wanna work. It will if I run the game directly without Mod Organizer 2. Now that I've identified the problem, what do I do about it? No mod list because I deleted all my mods. This is an issue with Mod Organizer 2, not any mods that come with it.

So whenever I try to start Fallout 3, the game starts with Dr. Li staring into the camera. Approximately five seconds later, the camera jumps into position and then the flash of white, post-birth blood screen stuff. The opening continues delayed like this, but Dad's "are you a boy or a girl" line isn't. It takes about twenty seconds before the "boy or girl" prompt happens. Then the game just kinda sits there and nothing happens. It's like the animation is a tad late and the game doesn't know what to do about it. So I continued from a previous save - only for the animation on some characters to just sorta stop in place. Heads literally started rolling around when characters were talking. Something is seriously, seriously wrong. So I disabled all the mods and tried again, but it changed literally nothing. The game is glitched to hell and back and I have no clue why. It didn't happen until after I installed an enb, but I don't know why that would cause such issues. I can generally play the base game for a few hours before it decides to crash on me, Honest Hearts tends to be the exception. It's like it's on a timer. About five minutes after I start the game, it crashes to desktop. I downloaded the 4gb patch, the stutter remover, etc. What wasn't manually installed has been installed through MO2. Any help?

I modded the hell out of Skyrim Special Edition. I made a new character and everything was working pretty hunky dory. And then I hit, like, level seven. Short story version: What was a previously pretty stable game crashes to desktop every few seconds now despite adding or subtracting no mods whatsoever. Long story version: Every time I went to the marshy area near Kynesgrove I would be attacked by bandits and the game would crash. I thought that there might be too many enemies on the screen thanks to the Beasts of Tamriel mod, so I told it to hide all the extra enemies without disabling the mod at all. Then it only crashed when the bandits killed me, so I entered the "killall" command to ensure that those stupid bandits wouldn't kill me and I could continue with my quest and get out of there. That worked out pretty well until I fast traveled and the game crashed to desktop again. I load it up, play for a few seconds and then the game crashes to desktop again. Nothing has been uninstalled. Nothing has been added. The game now wants to crash. I'm using Mod Organizer 2. Please don't judge me for my choice in mods. I'm a lonely, pathetic person. It's probably an ini issue. What enb preset are you using? I notice that there are at least one or two made specifically for OR.

I actually haven't been launching the game through OBMM, just Vortex. And since I've uninstalled then reinstalled everything, I've just been going to the Steam folder in case opening with Vortex messes things up again. Or my computer just refuses to let things work the way they should, which is something it likes to do. If it makes any difference to installation, I've already installed the latest version of Oblivion Reloaded.

I use Steam. As for mod managers, Iâve been using both OBMM and Vortex quite successfully.

Oblivion Reloaded is famous for its incompatibility with enb presets. At least, I've never been able to get the two to work simultaneously. HOWEVER - the latest version of Oblivion Reloaded says it is enb/enb boost compatible. Granted, my previous attempts have been with the previous version of Oblivion Reloaded. When I tried with this version, loading the game from my mod manager would load the game with the enb preset while disabling both OBSE and Reloaded. When I opened the game from the Steam folder, the game would load with Reloaded and OBSE but without the enb preset. Is there any secret to make the two work together? Or with this latest version do I just install an enb like I would usually? Or will the two never make friends and I just don't have the technical knowhow to make that magic happen? Thanks.

After toggling the archive invalidation thingy in the settings, I uninstalled all of my mods through Vortex and reinstalled them, which did nothing. I eventually gave up, deleted everything, and reinstalled everything. It worked well enough. As I was about to start playing again, Steam decided it needed to update when I launched the game from Vortex and brought up the launcher window. I immediately shut down the launcher and tried again from Vortex which skipped the launcher this time and went straight into the game - now running into the exact same problem as before with all the meshes disappearing. Now I'm just pissed off. I thought that the launcher only reset the ini, it shouldn't have made all the meshes disappear! Literally the only thing that happened was that the launcher was brought up. What. The. Hell. I officially have no idea what is going on with the game anymore and why this issue is persisting. The missing meshes aren't part of any installed mods either, just regular meshes from the vanilla game. Gone for no reason whatsoever.

So I downloaded a bunch of mods, most of which through Vortex, and New Vegas was running quite splendidly. I downloaded an enb preset, only to discover that I was having that transparency bug. I went to the launcher window to disable antialiasing and ansiotropic filtering off. When I booted up New Vegas, I was greeted with a wasteland dazzled in red signs with exclamation points in them and my character's textures were wonky. I imagine that this has something to do with launching the game from Vortex and then running the launcher. Is it possible it messed with NVSE? Please help. Modlist:

My computer is pretty great. It can run Skyrim Special Edition with the twenty billion mods I have installed with little issue. Same thing with Fallout 4. And a bunch of other games I have. Oblivion, no matter what happens, refuses to work correctly and clearly it's not because my machine isn't powerful enough. I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled Oblivion so many times. This week, I was determined to get it to work correctly and followed Bevilex's wonderful guide which includes several different mods for optimization. Naturally, I used Wrye Bash and OBMM as well as BOSS before switching over to LOOT. It began crashing whenever I fast traveled if it didn't in ten minutes after closing out a menu. So I went through with TES4edit and cleaned up the dirty files and decreased the texture size and various other graphic settings that didn't get in the way of my enb preset on top of turning off auto-save. It lasted about forty minutes before crashing, which was an astounding improvement especially since the high quality textures I downloaded now look like a PS1 game. I tried playing earlier today and it began crashing after about five minutes, particularly when I was trying to fast travel again. This is after deleting saves and starting all over again. Obviously, I am missing something or Bethesda's grudge against its customers is especially harsh on people who had the gull to only buy Skyrim twice. Here's my mod list:

Let me get a few things clear. I have been trying for days to get modded Oblivion to work. Scratch that, I've been trying for months but I gave up until recently where I deleted everything and reinstalled Oblivion again this time being more careful about my mods. I used ES4Edit and cleaned mods that needed cleaning. I used OBMM to get my load order done correctly. I used Wyre Bash to create a patch. It should be working, but I have absolutely no idea why it isn't and I am currently at the end of my rope. My current theory is that there is a conflict between mods that I haven't yet found, my load order is messed up, or Robo-Hitler and his cyber minions will not rest until I give up on modding Oblivion. I can get to Patrick Stewart's monologue and the flashy intro, but as soon as the real game is supposed to start it immediately crashes to desktop. Can I get some help here?
