I just finished my FCOM wizards. search "AbigailsMODS" to find them all. Using them, I installed FCOM in under 15 minutes. :D

I use Wrye Bash 302.1 and have had no issues. Hickory is right. Never, ever install Oblivion (or really any game you plan on modding), in any windows created folder (Documents, Program Files, etc.). Try "C:\Games\Oblivion" or "C:\Games\Bethesda\Oblivion", something like that. Will prevent a lot of the issue you are having.

I have made a lot of Wrye Bash BAiN Wizard scripts. A lot of them, I've uploaded a few that I had permission for, the rest are for personal use, or in case I ever get permission. :yes: The issue is, NMM seems to be taking off a bit, and is indeed simpler than Wrye Bash. If I want to keep with the times, do I need to give up on BAIN wizards and learn whatever language NMM uses? I do so love Wrye Bash, but if I'm the only one using it, I'll feel like the the only guy on a horse on the freeway. Help a conflicted modder?

you are aware you recieve a crystal ball and a spell, right? the spell is for NPCs ,like companions, and the crystal ball is for player. are you using BOSS?

I did a quick look around, and I think it is Choices and Consequences that is your point of conflict. try moving it higher in your load order.

I would like to have a towel as clothing mod for hgec. I've looked everywhere, and other than a few screenshots, I've never seen an actual mod for it. i'd just like one for some screenshots I have planned. If anyone can think of a mod that could be retextured, I could probably do it, but I cant figure out where to start. thanks for any help!

I'm looking to do some simple voice over work for a video, not really a mod, but I want my characters lips to move. that being said, id like to have her speak outside the dialogue menu. is this possible? if so, is there anyone interested in pointing me in the right direction? I've learned most of what I know about modding from Google, searching the forums, and trial and error. but this is bigger than me. please help, thanks!

I used a mod long time ago for screenshots, cool combat videos, etc. I'm looking for the "just more creatures" mod. it doesn't make them stronger, doesn't change any stats, just makes more of them. I remember the description, but not the name. it has a line in the description about dungeons and dragons. not strongers mobs just more of them. true hordes of enemies. the evil necromancer in the dungeon really has an army of skeletons. thanks for any help!

I'm putting together a short oblivion video, sort of a PSA about nudity in cyrodil. looking for a voice over annoucer type person. i was gonna just do myself, (I've also been told i have voice talent, but its too time consuming just shooting the video for it. get back to me if you think you might ber interested in doing a funny video.

I am trying to learn to script a simple bain wizard. using several actual wizards as a template/stating point, i mamaged to get a test wizard to ask a yes/no question. however, the test mod was not installed. all options were still grayed out. I have tried several different things, to no avail. I'm hoping someone can look at my script and tell me what I'm doing wrong. thanks in advance for any help! *Edit* after some more fighting with BAIN, i managed to crank out a few wizard scripts. my life is good again.

update for Friday, Skyrim.nexusmods is down again. hope the bugs get worked out soon as i am forced to do pushups and clean my room because i want mods b4 playing skyrim...

So I lost my HDD, which had my lvl 19 assassin on it. had finished DB quests, discovered tons of locations, and had really epic gear. I want to use the console or the CS to recreate that character, and complete the quests I had done. is that possible?

I'm at a loss guys. I need to get ahold of the very simple mod that removes the "are you sure you want to sell XXXX for XXXX gold" I used to have it but that was a long time ago. So two mods I've been working on in my own game, but I'm just missing the mark. I took a dress I'm rather fond of, and combined it with a simple arena robe mod, to make a arena robe replacer mod. problem: the robe is one slot only, but the dress is 3 slots (upper, lower, feet). I am able to get the upper and lower body part to work in-game, but the boots just will not stay on her feet. nope. no boots. I'm not even sure if I'm using Nifskope properly, or if something else is the matter. Ok! on the the second mod. During the DB quest, where you are to go to that house as a guest, you are given an enchanted robe. its ugly. yep thats pretty much it. I want to change it into something I'd actually want to wear to a party. but I have no idea how to go about doing that. I know I need create a plugin with my dress in it, but I want to replace the other one. Um I'm even having trouble describing what it is I don't know how to do. Someone save me! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....

Bain is soo much eaiser for installing CCC than trying to OMOD it. and its a very gentle learning curve. Wrye Bashing for Life!

thanks for all the advice guys. as for my discount, I pay 5% over cost for anything in the store. so some things are a good deal, and others really aren't.

As I work for Best Buy, a good share of my components I can get at a discount, which will help either with lowering my cost or upgrading my build.
