  1. Found a "tutorial" for cheat engine that worked for me (second post from the bottom by Crazy6432):

    http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=578120&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=540

note: it says that the first 5 to 6 characters should match, but for me it was never more than 4. A few times I got two possible choices to choose from so you might have to try a couple of times before you get it right.

  2. you can use cheat engine if there is no mod

I've tried using the cheat engine (CE) but could never figure out how to do it (have read pretty much all entries in the CE forum on Halla, but most of them made little sense to a newbie CE user as me), nor does their seem to be any progress on adding the feature to the current CE table. If anyone would like to write an "Dummies guide to adding more Halla using cheat engine", that would be much appriciated, a tutorial video would be even better.

  3. Was hoping someone might be intrested in adding more Halla statues in the winterpalace so you can open more doors. I am extremly annoyed at this part of the game as I can't solve all the sidequests (collect blackmail, caprise and red jenny staches) and at the same time get all the evidence against the throne contenders (including the elven locket). Personally I don't care about the doors that are "pure" loot, altough I suspect others might.

    anyone up for the challange?

  4. Hi!

I'm currently modding the thief guild and could use some "paper lanterns", simular to those in morrowind (the square ones), in diffrent collors. Tried to convert an Oblivion mod, but i never got it to look very good. Would be greatfull if anyone could help.

  5. I was thinking it would be nice with a nightingale armour were the cape was bound to the hood. Since I usually not equip the hood I prefer the nighingale armour capeless, however, on the rear ocassion that I do equip the hood would look better with the cape. So what I'd like to see is a nightingale armour mod that makes the cape equip/unequip with the hood.

I'm not much of a modder myself, but if anyone is feeling up to it...

Normally, capes and such are clipped to the outfit, meaning if you remove them, it leaves a huge hole in the back of the armour right through your character. HOWEVER! :) Whoever at Bethesda modeled the Nightingale armour, wasted triangle by putting a separate cape onto the armour, while it's still all one TriShape mesh. That means the cape can be removed. :) I'm on it now. I'll see if I can make it attached to the hood also!

Just so you know; there already is a mod that removes the cape of the nightingale armour so thats not what I'm talking about.

If you can make one where the cape is attached to the hood, rather than the cuirass, however, that'd be great and I'll be the first to download.
