  1. Hi I have exactly the same issue. I "fixed" it by using a conjure storm atronach staff which seems to work, however the spell itself doesn't... My Load Order is below. I can only think it is an issue from Skyre as I have no mods installed other than that which affect magic, the spell itself is unaltered as far as I am aware ( a quick check is the spell code which is still it's base code i.e. 000204C5) No idea what's causing it, anyone else have this issue?

Hey I have this same problem, I'm using Skyre and for some reason random textures (it could be meshes as well, not sure) are missing, for example the barbian boots when equipped just make my characters feet invisible etc...? It's very odd as I have never had this issue before so I think it must be an install/mod order issue. I'm trying a completely fresh install now and hopefully that will cure it. If anyone has any advice let me know. Cheers

Hi all Don't know if anyone can help, my character has just become a vampire, but whenever I feed, my companions report it as a crime to the nearest Guard, I have tried modifying my companions factions so that they have 100 disposition to both the player faction and the player vampire faction, but that hasn't worked (I have also tried creating a new faction for them and giving that a 100 disposition towards the player vampire faction, but that doesnt seem to wrk either). Any help would be appreciated. Fox
  4. Hi everyone, I just did a clean install of FO3: GOTY and thought I'd add a few mods (see below). I have used these mods before, but my old saves were getting buggy due to the number of mods I had, hence the clean install. In my eagerness to get all the mods on I did not check to see if each one was working before installing the next one and now my fallout crashes at the first "please wait" screen. I have checked to make sure that all the .esms are there for each file (and I'm pretty sure they are) I also have the FOIP files and I have made a merged patch using FO3Edit. I don't know what I'm missing here, but any help would be really appreciated, thanks. EDIT: I have attached my load order report as well (again nothing stands out as being wrong...) Hi Everyone I've downloaded and have been using Vampire hunter armor for HGEC and EyeCandy and while playing I noticed that it is weaker than glass armor so I thought I would change it using the construction set. I loaded the .esp and the oblivion master file (setting the vampire hunter esp as the active file) and changed the stats of the items to those of glass and saved. But when I load my game the stats of the armor are the same, I have done this before for other armors to make them weaker but were overpowered and looked cool. Any help would be appreciated Thanks EDIT: BTW this might be the wrong place for this problem, but I think it's okay here EDIT: IGNORE this I was being an idiot, the armor values were not what I set them because my Light Armor skill was really low, my bad.
  6. I would try reinstalling MMM, it might be that open cities overwrote some files it needs.
  7. if I remember rightly project beauty, fook2, fwe and MMM require FOIP (fallout interoperability program) to work together not just the merged patch, other than that I am not too sure
  8. What operating system are you running? I guess you have used archive invalidation if you have FOMM?

The majority of mods require the latest official patch (just google it), if you are using vista, the game should not be installed under c:/program files as windows has annoying user account controls which can stop mods installing properly, make a new folder in the c drive (i use c:/Games and install it there). When i asked what version I meant did you install it with a disc or did you buy it off the steam service?
  10. Have you got a fully updated version of the game? What version of windows are you using, what version of the game do you have (steam, GOTY etc).
  11. I think abominalmonkey is refering to the archivevalidation invalidated program which will change your .ini for you which is better than chaning it yourself if you are unsure what your doing. I would recommend getting fallout mod manager as this has an archive invalidation toggle switch built in, it also helps prevent load order issues and the like. Where have you installed Fallout 3? With Windows seven or vista it should NOT be installed to program files as this causes problems with windows' user account control, I suggest re-installing to somewhere like C:/Games and then copying your current data file over the installed one (Make backups before attempting this, also try the archive invalidation first.
  12. Are you running Vista/Windows 7? If so Steam should NOT be installed under Program files as the User account controls for windows constrict/stop mods from working. Re-install it somewhere like C:/Games (Make sure you make a back up before you do this incase you go wrong somewhere)

McRegan is right I think, you may have copied the contents of the type3 files etc to data and just left the empty folders there, but if you haven't done it then the body texture files and all other textures should be in Data/Textures. Make sure you have the latest patch as well. Also if you are running vista/windows seven make sure that fallout 3 is installed to something like c:/Games NOT c:/programs as UAC makes a lot of mods malfunction
  14. How exactly did you extract the files, this may sound silly but did you copy Data into Data or did you copy meshes, textures etc into data? Should have the following structure; Data--> Textures Meshes Music Video etc I've had a look at the file and I don't think it needs the Script extender although it may need archive validation invalidated (there is a program for that, but I would reccommend getting OBMM-oblivion mod manager as this has the invalidation feature and will help when you install any more mods.   15. Hi everyone, I'm having an issue when trying to get into Burke's house. I have installed the portable terminal mod and it is kept in Burke's house, when I enter the house I can not leave and the scree fades to black, if I use coc "x" where x is any location I get moved to the location, but the screen is still black!? I tried disabling the portable terminal mod, but this effect still occurs.
