I've seen screenshots of Morrowind from people that have made the game look fantastic. I've been through addictions to both Oblivion, and Skyrim, and have poured several hundred hours into each game. Now, I would like to play Morrowind, but I just can't do it. I loaded the game, and I played it for about 5 minutes before thinking "this game looks terrible." I hate to admit, but I'm a bit jaded. I have a very high end pc, but after making Oblivion look fantastic, and making Skyrim look even better, I just get bored unless the game looks fantastic. How can I make Morrowind look at least as good as vanilla Oblivion? Doesn't sound like it should be that hard. I'm talking anilla Oblivion, not even Oblivion after I've downloaded 30 high res texture packs for it, or Skyrim after I've done the same. And I mean in every way, I want characters to look beautiful, to be highly rendered, to have beautiful environments, realistic lighting, better LOD's, a farther line of sight, realistic weather. If it's in the game, I want it to look better. I want it to at least look as good as Oblivion, or I don't think I'm gonna be able to get into it. I hate to admit it, I've always been a critic of people that are like that with games, but I've just gotten used to the graphics of Elder Scrolls games on my computer taking my breath away. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated.

Is there any mod that I can use that allows me to either use the setscale console command on my character to change her size but not affect her speed or damage? or does any mod basically give you the equivalent option? Ive seen mods that make it where certain races are shorter and some are taller, I just want to be able to affect my own characters and only my own height without also lowering her damage and movement speed. Does anything like this exist?

I have two specific types of mods in mind that I would like to find. If it turns out that they dont exist then I'll make a thread in the mod request forum. The first kind is a mod that adds children to skyrim of non human races. My character is a dark elf, and I'd like to be able to roleplay that my child is my own, so I want to be able to adopt a dark elf. Another kind of mod that I would like is one that displays your unequipped items on your mod anyway. It would be really awesome if I could have my dagger on my side, but also have my crossbow displayed on my back(so I can go Ezio on people)

can someone please give me some kind of pointer about what to do?

I've already tried starting a new character. It works fine. I have no issue whatsoever. It's only with my dark elf that I'm having this problem.

I don't know what the issue is. My girlfriends character doesn't have any problem crafting or upgrading, and she never gets stuck in third person. Both of our characters are on the same computer, and are affected by the same mods. Mine however, can't upgrade anything, use an enchanting table, alchemy table, forge, or anything else for that matter. Whenever I do, it centers the camera on it, but otherwise acts as if I didn't even activate it. Even worse, from that point on until I load a previous save, I am stuck in third person, and if I wasn't in third person when I activated the enchanting table/forge/alchemy lab/anything, it puts me in third person, and then gets me stuck there. Before you ask, no, I am not a werewolf. My character is just a regular dark elf. I did install a bunch of new mods right before I noticed this, but I don't know if that's responsible. I deactivated every mod that I'd just installed when I noticed this, and I still have the same problem. Not to mention, over a week ago whenever I tried to activate any of the previously mentioned items, my character would activate it, use it for about 2 seconds, and then against my will stop using it. To use any kind of crafting or enchanting table, I had to activate it, then during that 2 second window, type in "tai" so my character wouldn't automatically stop using it. Just, please help. Despite how much I love this game, I'm about ready to just give up and stop playing it if I can't get this fixed.

So far, I've been unable to advance any quest in the game to the final stage. I'm not able to even enter the hall of the elements for the eye of magnus for the college of winterhold questline.. It's as if there is an invisible wall preventing from moving any further. In speaking with silence for the thieves guild, I cannot enter snow veil sanctum. It showed mercer pick the lock, and the door no longer shows that it is locked, yet I cannot enter because it claims that the door is still locked and can't be picked. For message to whiterun for the imperial questline, I cannot talk to cipius to progress it. It shows in the log that I need to talk to him, but whenever I do, he responds with nothing pertaining to the invasion of whiterun, and the quest does not progress. I'm seeing a pattern that every quest is breaking close to the end of the questline. I have the unofficial skyrim patch, and I have it for steam and I have my steam settings set so that it keeps the game up to date. Also, I have tried using the setstage command for the message to whiterun quest, and it does not fix it. It shows that part of the quest completed, but the quest objectives don't update, and I am still unable to progress to another stage of that quest, and I am unable to progress to the following quest as well. Any advice would be much appreciated.

this isn't a mod request. I'm asking if this kind of mod already exists. I placed a separate thread in the mod request forum in case I'm not able to find a mod like this for the reason of it not existing. Seems really simple, right? Some mods around the net include chest and leg armor as separate pieces, but most of the leg armor tends to be some thong or g string. If you're lucky it'll have as much coverage as actual panties. I think a mod should be made that includes form fitting but not revealing leg pieces for female characters in the game. aka, pants. Simple, right?

So I'm looking for some pants. Just some f***ing pants. I installed this mod for my female character, and its really cool looking and flattering, but all it comes with for leggings is a damn g string and I'd like my character to have just slightly more dignity than that. It does actually include the chest of the armor as a separate item. Just the problem is that the only only item that it includes that can be equipped into the leg slot is literally just a g string. As in, that's the name of that piece of armor. g string. Here is a link to the mod. If there was any way whatsoever that I could get a mod that would allow me to equip some black leather leggings that are actually pants and not a small piece of string that would be lovely. Thanks.

I'm looking for some cool looking and also flattering armor for a female character in new vegas that's compatible with Beware of Girls version 3. Also, I need some kind of item or armor piece that renders my character invisible while I'm sneaking. In addition, I'm also looking for a mod that gives me some really cool looking energy based futuristic looking melee weapons. Oh, and also I'm looking for some kind of Sniper Rifle that is dependent on my Energy Weapons skill. Ya, I think that's it. haha. I think.

It's not up on tesnexus, you have to download it from the mirror. I swear, when you play the game it says that you have to read the readme for the mod to work, and that somewhere in the readme is the code that you have to enter. I cannot find this code. I have read and reread the readme, and I do not see any code. I have all the files. In order to get the mod to work, all I have to do is type the code into the ini file. I just can't figure out what it is!

It's pissing me off. Like, screaming at my computer pissed off. His new mod requires that you enter a key into the ini file first before it will run. I've read through the whole damn read me 3 times. There's either no key, or it is inconspicuous enough that somebody who's read through it several times cannot notice it. It's ridiculous. Not to mention, the readme is long, and there is no specification of where in the readme it is. I've read through the whole thing three times, which has taken about 45 minutes, and honestly I'm too fatigued from reading that damn much over and over to feel like looking any more, to not even find it. Has anybody else downloaded this mod, and if so, do you know the key? I'm not looking any more. If noone's able to tell me, I'm probably just going to end up deleting the mod. What a waste, especially over something so stupid.

Ya, I've been trying to install the construction set for Oblivion, and it's just not working. I do know what the issue is. It's an incompatibility issue with the 64 bit version of Windows Vista. However, I was able to get around that, obviously, because I have been able to play Oblivion. While the actual disk would not work to install it, I was able to buy it through steam, and the game works just fine. Do you know of any possible way to install The Construction Set on a 64 bit version of Vista? It doesn't happen to everything, but when I tried to install the retail version of Oblivion about a month ago it did the same thing as what is happening now. ya, ran both malware bytes, and AVG, and my computer is in pristine condition. Neither detected anything. I take 0 risks with this computer. I'm hoping this is nothing. As I said, when I turned it back on, I didn't notice anything wrong at all. I still have all my files, I still only have to wait a total of 1 second for a page to load, games still run just as smoothly. I don't notice anything different. I'm hoping that was just a freak occurrence that will likely not happen again. I remember when it happened, I had just clicked on a link to youtube. Just to see if it would do it again, I went back to that exact same link after I turned it back on, and nothing happened. It was just a parody of some old nazi movie depicting hitler as a WoW player and crying because the release of TOR is going to cause a mass exodus from the game.

Can mods potentially harm your computer? I'm just curious. I have over 100 of them, and for the first time today, my computer blue screened randomly. It starting saying things about a full system dump, and it told me to turn it off, so I did. Luckily, when I turned it back on, I can't notice anything wrong. All my files are still here. Internet is still running quickly. Games are still performing as awesomely as ever. Still, it has me kind of shaken. I spent alot of money for this computer, and the whole reason I bought it doesn't even come out until April of next year(The Old Republic). I'm hoping this is just a one time freak chance, and that this won't start happening more often. If there is something wrong with it, which is yet to be seen, I don't know how. I've been extra protective of this computer since I got it about a month ago. Literally, all I have done on it is go to a few sites, such as this, facebook, youtube, yahoo, the old republic site, formspring, and that is about it, and I have only played games that I legitimately obtained, either through a disc, or downloading through steam.

I thought that was just a mod that added more spells? eeerm.... no Dude, if you only want mods with voiceacting, you're gonne miss out. Badly. There's tons of mods out there that are awesome to the top, but don't have voiceacting. Dungeons of Ivellon - Great mod. Doesn't have voiceacting, but doesnt need to. No npc interaction. Don't play this if you are easily scared, or dont have a brain. Castle Glenvar - Though it is a little bit dated, I really enjoyed playing through this one. It's not that I only want mods with voiceacting, I just don't want mods that involve interaction with NPC's to include the stupid little line of text at the bottom but not actually be saying what is there. It it involves no interaction, I don't care if it has voiceacting. I'm actually trying out that dungeons of Ivellon one right now.

I'm looking for a FREE video capturing program that can take full length videos. I need to be able to take a video clip that is atleast 3 minutes long. I would also like to not have a virus on my brand new computer, so I would like it if you have tried the program yourself if you are going to recommend it.
