I've deleted some character editing mods, and it seems to work just fine now! So far, anyway. I do have SKSE installed, so the ones running off that are in good order. I think I'm all set for now! I'm going to use caution when trying to use many mods now, thank you for all your help!

Correct. As soon as the cart touches the wall, and we stand up, complete freeze. Music and sound effect still plays, but the game itself just sort of gives up without a CTD

I may have spoken too soon, unfortunately now when I start a new game, when I get to Helgen it breaks. I am unable to close Skyrim, or switch to another window. Had to restart. I'm going to download the Alt Start mod and see if I can bypass this, because at this point I really don't know what's going on. Tried Alt Start, CTD. Everything is clean, everything is in order. Now I'm very confused.

That did the trick! It's up and running perfectly, with the mods in place. Thank you guys so much. I think I've become a little bit more savy with this modding in the process.

Haha, thank you for being understanding. I've noticed that the majority of the community I have seen so far is very helpful. Yes I am a total noob at programming, there's no shame! So I have installed LOOT and it sorted my stuff out, but also alerted me that the Update.esm and all the DLC need cleaning with TES5Edit. I was finally able to load TES5Edit properly this time as well! It actually read that Update.esm was before Dragonborn.esm (thank you that's one problem fixed!) Since it's telling me that official DLC need cleaning, should I still attempt to take care of this? I really don't want to be messing around with this program if I don't have to.

Ok, so this is my first time Modding Skyrim. I'm very nervous about posting in the forums because I'm probably making some dunce mistake, but here goes. I downloaded several mods and started a game with them and they ran perfectly! Game looked great, but obviously I wanted more. Ran great! Had no issues whatsoever. The problem occurred the MOMENT I downloaded JK's Skyrim. I didn't do the individual towns, just the whole thing. CTD as soon as I opened the game. I was very annoyed! So I uninstalled the mod, and tried again. I got to the logo, got the fog and music, then when I hit continue, CTD. But I didn't even have it on my computer anymore. I tried again, but this time selected "New File." This time, I got stuck on an infinite loop of fog and logo with no music. I tried uninstalling every single mod, nothing, the same errors occurred. I uninstalled Skyrim and re-installed, still didn't fix it. So I figured, I'll try a hard reset. I deleted every single Skyrim file from my computer, re-installed it, and Vanilla Skyrim booted right up! So I tried installing the mods I had before this issue occurred, back to the CTD and infinite loop. I installed BOSS to fix the load order, because maybe I was ruining it myself. BOSS did it's thing, told me the DLC needed to be cleaned. I downloaded TES5Edit, and it won't load past the Dragonborn DLC because it requires the "Update.esp" before Dragonborn. I manually changed the load order myself, however, in the menu for the start up of TES5Edit, this change doesn't even appear! What am I doing wrong? I don't even want anymore mods! I just want to play with what's on that list at that point, and I do not want to hard reset Skyrim and play it vanilla on this beautiful new machine I bought. Please pardon my inexperience, I'm also very unfamiliar with terms and have a hard time with English so I'm doing my absolute best to figure out what is going on. It's such a shame that JK's mod caused all this bad stuff to go down, because it looked beautiful. But at this point, it kind of broke my game!
