  1. Just an idea for unique spice for the Nexus. Might also go well with anyone RPing as a miner/Earthmancer. :D Iron, Steel, Orcish, Elven, Dwarven, Ebony, Glass, Stalhrim, Silver, Daedric, Forsworn, etc.. styled pickaxes! Wondering if the pointed tips from the bows, and handles from the maces could be used as a starting point?
  2. It kind of surprises me Bethesda never made this a part of the game for beartraps. As we all know, you step on a bear trap in real life, you're not just going to flinch/stagger and get back up on your feet in 2 seconds. You're going to be standing there struggling to get the thing open in order to free yourself. That being said, would it be possible to program a mod to where where an NPC/Player steps on a bear trap, it halts them in place until they pry it open, or some kind of wait time passes and they're free? The "hunched over in pain animation" that plays when Followers are low on health would be a great animation to use for Humans/Skeletons/Draugr. As for animals.. Well, since there is no "hunched over in pain" animation for them, they'd just be standing there in their idle animation. And Dragons.. well, those guys are more than likely too friggin bulky and big to care about a bear trap. xD
  3. So for those who haven't played ESO, there's two abilities on it that I think would make a good Totem Mod. (plus Vampire Lords are able to heal themselves, why not werewolves?) This is a small recording of the sound effect that's used in game: https://youtu.be/VZuxkygIBnk?t=25 Totem of Hircine's Bounty: (Thought this one would be irrelevant with Fortitude and Rage being accessible) - Invoke the Huntsman's blessing to heal yourself for [x]. Totem of Hircine's Rage: "Let your crave for power be heard by Lord Hircine. Invoke the Prince of the Hunt to heal you and fortify the damage of your attacks by 30% for 15 seconds." - Invoke the Huntsman's blessing to heal yourself for [x] and increase your Weapon Damage by 10% for 17 seconds. (maybe increase damage to 30-40%?)- Increases Weapon Damage for caster.- Use the Hysteria particle effects when activated? Totem of Hircine's Fortitude: "Let your cries of agony be heard by Lord Hircine. Invoke the Prince of the Hunt to heal you and fortify health regeneration by 30% for 30 seconds." - Invoke the Huntsman's blessing to heal yourself for [x] and an additional [y] over 8 seconds.- Adds heal over time effect. (30-40% Health Regen?)- When the howl is played and the ability becomes activated, I think it'd be pretty badass to have the Auriel's Bow explosion strike the player to give that "gift from a god" type of feel: https://youtu.be/vH6iYZg9Gn4?t=23
  4. Helloo there, Trey again. So this is something I thought might make a small piece of realism for Werewolves, Vampires, and NR Cannibals: eating Human Flesh, Daedra Hearts, and Human Hearts gives some kind of boost like a potion would. (i.e Restore Health, Restore Stamina, Restore Magicka), and does some kind of negative affect for normal humans / beast races (Like poisoning, or disease). This is also something I thought about, though it does sound like i'd be pretty complex to program: - In Moonlight Tales, eating Human Flesh/Hearts and Daedra Hearts reduces the chances of an involuntary transformation to occur at night.
  5. Hey there. I'm a conceptual writer and game developer that's been downloading Skyrim mods here for some time now. I'm not really a modder, but definitely a conceptualist. :D Anyway, this is something that's had a pet peeve for a while: Why not make a mod that allows all vanilla spells in Skyrim be added to staves at a Staff Enchanter? I'm talking about all vanilla Novice - Master Level spells, including the Dawnguard/Dragonborn ones. Staves in the game alone I can tell not many people use, and this might make them more useful. Maybe even persuade other modders to focus on making custom models. If it were possible to also allow Staff Enchanters to apply mod spells like those from Apocalypse, or Colorful Magic, that'd be even more kickass. The reason being is I've noticed AFT has given me trouble trying to train mod spells to followers. (Ex: the Skyrim Reborn mod and how it slightly changes Ebony Flesh, along with those from Colorful Magic, if I'm not mistaken.) There has been an attempt at something like this one (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10230/?), but I'm already having trouble trying to figure out how to get the staves through the console.
  6. There's actually one that's moderately close in this race mod pack called the Dovahbear Race. Only issue I noticed with it is the back of the neck clipping through armor. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=99080609 Besides that, it's definitely a cute one I'm giving a try right now. I also plan on infecting mine with Werebear Blood. Here's a pick of a character I made with it. xD https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cw4DOdfXAAA7cJn.jpg:large
