  1. How retarded am I for not thinking of that? I added the perk manually and it popped up in my perk section. The GRA Assault Carbine I had went from having 13 damage to 16, so it's definitely working. sigh I don't know how long it would have taken me to think of that. Thanks a lot.
  2. I'm about 15 hours into this play through. I'm around level 14, and I had just gotten a level up. I just acquired an assault carbine, so the grunt perk popped in my head. I go to search for it in the perk list (I definitely meet the criteria) and it just isn't there. I checked farther down to see if it was glitched and just not letting me select it but it's just entirely not there. Now I had already downloaded a patch off the nexus that fixes the grunt perks compatibility with DLC weapons, so I just figured that was the issue. I reinstalled it and moved it to the bottom of my load order - nothing. I checked it in FNVedit and there wasn't any conflicts. I made a merged patch just in case but the grunt information wasn't even a part of its data. I deleted it entirely - nothing either. Then when I was looking around I found that apparently YUP fixes the same issues with the grunt perk that the grunt fix mod did, so I decided to delete that entirely - still nothing. My load order looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/JeZCLot.png I also verified my game cache through steam. It said that 3 files failed to verify and would be reacquired. I am assuming that they were the game executable (since I had used the 4gb patched to patch the exe (since I had to patch it again to make my game even run after verifying)) fallout_default.ini (since I had to change all my mouse acceleration settings again) but the third file I don't really know. The same issue persists even after that. When I go into fnvedit and check the form lists/perk section, the grunt perk is there, so I don't understand why it's not showing up. I installed the grunt perk expanded mod after the fact to see if that would somehow bring it back, but it didn't. The issue was going on before I had even put that in there. On top of that, when I view the form list in fnv edit, it doesn't say it's affected by anything but that grunt fix mod, which can kind of be forgotten since It still wasn't working with any other mods: http://i.imgur.com/wUgLDuG.png Am I wrong in assuming that if fnvedit says that the data is there that it should be loaded in game? This is what honesthearts.esm looks like: http://i.imgur.com/0O5mJvi.png Any assistance would be much appreciated. If I posted this in the wrong place I am sorry, I am just assuming it's something mod related. By the way, all of the other honest heart perks are still in game. It's just f****ng grunt that's missing. Thank you for the assistance.
  3. I just searched the forums for anything related to my problem, and found someone talking about that same fix. Worked like a charm. Thanks for actually replying though.
  4. I can confirm that this was also a fix for me. Thanks for this.
  5. Welp... http://imgur.com/a/zh00v AA and AF is off and forced off in control panel, and a new game was started to test out the ENB. I remember it doing this the last time I had ENB installed, and that was before I uninstalled and re-installed New Vegas. Now I have the same problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
  6. So I've been having a problem getting NMM to work and I'm assuming it has something to do with where I'm setting up the directories. By default, NMM placed the directories in "My Documents" under users. The tutorials, I've watched on youtube all say to keep them whatever they are by default, so i did, and after downloading a single mod off of Nexus (I clicked on "Download (NMM)") and activating it in the mod manager, it doesn't work. After that, i created a Mods and Install Info folder in Steam/steamapps/common/newvegas or whatever the pathway is, and placed the directories there because that's where the tutorials had their's set to and redid everything. Still nothing. In settings it asks for you New Vegas directory where the data files are and I made sure that that was set to Steam/steamapps/common/newvegas. Also after all that i just manually extracted all the files to my data folder like the instructions of the mod itself were instructing me to do for manual installation and still nothing worked. I even made sure the extracted files were in the data folder and nothing... I don't know what to do since no one else seems to be having this problem and everyone is making it seem so straight forward and easy to do. Halp.
