  1. its always good to include pictures becasue some people just refuse to download something if it doesnt have a picture. I tried it and the summons worked fine, but like you said, they names were different becasue I think you mixed up the ID name and the actual name. Good thing I was right outside anyway.
  2. Im having some trouble getting the same color in the CS and on gimp. I can set the numbers all the same, but they still dont match. Does anyone know why this is or can anyone give me a white number code for hair that would match in both? Also, even though I set the texture to a pure white, it is actually pretty dim, any idea why? Can you change the body/mesh/texture of an ncp specifically to one that was downloaded so it only affects the one npc and not every other male/female npc in the game? Also, my mod is now under construction, codenamed Project Titan. ETA: when it gets done. There will be a beta for it when it is at least far enough to attempt one.
  3. well, its not mine, but here is the link to it: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27945
  4. no problem. If you need it, I can even direct you to a slightly more advanced skeleton that can be used for just about any race and even has bones for wings and tails, but its a bit more advanced than those, so I suggest getting used to those first.
  5. It wont let me attach to a message on here, so i put them in a zip and added them onto my nexus account. Here is link: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31216
  6. Go to the location where you unpacked the oblivion meshes. Click the meshes folder, characters, _male and it should be just above halfway down if set to alphabetical order. If it isnt there, then it could be in your normal _male folder in your Oblivion install directory. If you still cannot find it, I will attach it to a message so you can get it.
  7. Yeah, this one is in a pretty tricky spot to find. Go to the directory below for it. Oblivion\data\meshes\characters\_male\ The file is called skeletonbeast.nif It should be right below skeleton.nif Good luck
  8. well, I looked up Blender, but they dont have an installer for x64 yet. Could I just use x32 one instead? Also, from the the looks of it, its more for larger projects and animation rather than just adding a pair of arms. Could it be used to change the shape of meshes for items?
  9. Well, I kinda wanted them to be usable, but then I thought that it would cause mass clipping problems. Maybe I will just use them to move, but not actually be usable. Do you know exactly how I can blend them on? Another thing I will need is a beard. Do you know of any mods that allow you to just pop a beard onto an npcs face and change the color, or at least have it match their hair color? It isnt urgent, but the characters just wouldnt be right without their beards. If you dont know of one, dont go looking, that would just be a waste of your time and just answer what you know.
  10. Im creating a mod right now and I seem to be a little stuck. Im new with scripting and really only know how to play sounds and make messages appear. any of you tell me how to make a creature/npc, who we shall just call K for now, spawn close by when you walk up and activate an obelisk and attack the player? Also, can you set the basic size of a creature or npc with a script or would you have to just change it with in the construction set(but how to do this if you wanted it to spawn when the obelisk is activated and already be larger than normal)? Yet another question is whether you can add extra appendages to creatures and npcs, such as an extra set of arms, or a second head(without using the Dagon model)? The creature Im creating doesnt need to wear a shirt or armor. I have no experience with texturing or modeling, but is it possible to make it look like a creature has something like lava, water, or lightning flowing on it or over it using a spell or something(not completely covering it, but more like small streams or pathways, asside from the lightning)? Can you change the body/mesh of an ncp specifically to one that was downloaded(much more muscled than current body)? I know, it seems like a lot, I dont want to reveal to much of my mod just yet, but it will be big.
