How did I miss this? :O Well, I haven't seen any retexture for DS3 yet, I was talking about all three games actually. I know, I know, it didn't sound like that...But really this whole series has suffered from poor mod support. Of course, it's not Elder Scrolls or Fallout, not every game has to be, but it would be nice to add custom character models (especially since the craracter creator isn't...the greatest), new weapons and armor, etc. I'm aware of that, it could cause problems when playing online, but still. It would also keep the game alive for a long time. Look at Skyrim! People are still playing it, thanks to the modding possibilities. Well, I guess in this case, we must take what we get (like the upcoming DLCs) and be happy with it. Making a mod, to be able to mod? It's too much for me. Well, I'm not surprised, I expected something like this. Thanks for the answer.

Yeah, I think the title speaks for itself. I would like to know, how mod-friendly Dark Souls 3 is. Bacause all I see is some reshades, or retextures, but nothing else. For example, is it possible to import a hand-modelled, totally new weapon into the game? Or anything like that. And please, if anyone answers, answer the qeustion itself, don't start a "fight" immediately. Just tell me, even if it's pretty complicated, is it possible or not? Thanks in advance!

Moddig Capabilities
DrutarTheSavage replied to DrutarTheSavage's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
I was using "schoolboy fantasy" as an indication of your naive confidence that you are going to make even a dent in this game, let alone turn it into something else. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not going to happen. It doesn't look like you have created a single basic mod for this game yet...first find out what is involved before you set yourself these impossible goals. like I said, you are being very naive thinking you are going to achieve what you have described here. How am I naive? I don't get it. I'm doing exactly what you're saying. "Trying to find out what is involved". I didn't DECIDE it is going to be the Witcher I want to use as a resource. There's no "bubble" at all. I came here to ask experinced modders of this game, what is possible and what is not. Nothing else. And I did my research elswhere too of course. Anyway, most people say it's "okay but complicated", or just simply call the mod tools bad. It's obvious, I have to keep looking for something else. That's exactly why I came here, to get an answer. I got it. Thank you. Any other games you could suggest besides most Bethesda games? -
Moddig Capabilities

Schoolboy fantasy? You have no idea, what I have in my mind. It's not some kind of high-fantasy, anime stuff. I asked about modding capabilities, not for opinions. Especially since I didn't say anything about the project itself. Anyway, thanks...I guess. -
Hey guys! I would like to have a question about Witcher 3's modding capabilities. Well I guess the first line speaks for itself. How far you can go? I have a vision in my mind for a long time now. I don't want to tell much about it yet, let's just say, it would totally change everything in a game...it's a big project. Right now, I'm looking for a fantasy game, which would be perfect to mod, and which isn't one of the Elder Scrolls games, or Mount&Blade. The Witcher 3 looks like a good choice, but I heard that the modding tools aren't really what was expected. That's why I'm asking you. What I'd need: - Replaceable character models, and textures, including Player Character and NPCs - Replaceable objects, like buildings, trees, and..well everything - Not just replacing, but adding new stuff into the game, like weapons, armor, any kind of objects (models too, not just textures) - Adding new story, dialogues, quests - Adding (also any kind of) new items, like food, potions, ingredients - Adding and/or replacing animations - This list could go on forever Essentially I'd like to turn a game, into another game. I know, Oblivion or Skyrim, is more sutiable for this job, I've been working with both of them. But also, I'm a little tired of them. I love the Elder Scrolls games, I really do, but they do not fit into my vision. A need something more fresh. I need a game in which you don't swing a sword like a novice, even on the highest skill level. So what do you guys think? Is the Wild Hunt capable to turn into something totally different? Also, if not, could you suggest another game (which is not outdated)? I'm very excited to start working already, but can't really find a game for a total conversion. I'm starting to think I should rather go with a free engine like, Unity, or Unreal and start from scratch. Oh, one more thing. I'm also interested in isometric ARPGs, also called "Diablo clones". I heard that Torchlight II is very moddable. But let's just stick to The Witcher for now. Thanks in advance!

Hey people! Nowdays it seems like KotOR II. modding community is pretty much dead. However it's still one of the best Star Wars games out there in my opinion. I think it's even better than the first episode, somehow it has more depth, it's more serious, darker. I would like to breath some life into this community, especially now, when The Force Awakens is finally out. I'm looking for modders Who are interested in making a nice detailed Kylo Ren armor for this awesome game. I'm not a person Who is familiar with 3D modeling programs, or Photoshop or anything like that. I was working on a few projects before as an 'art director', story writer. However my projects were never released, since my skilled partner got sick. He was working on models, textures, and every technical detailes. So right now I'd need a person who is skilled in 3D modeling, one for texturing, and someone for importing into the game. I know I ask much, but I don't want to keep it for myself, I want to give this for this gaming community. I can't offer much for you guys, since I'm not a modder, more like artist minded guy. I can only give you some guidance and I have an eye for things like this. What I have in my mind is a detailed armor, more detailed than usual KotOR stuff out there. Separate head piece, with and without hood. Even (if someone is interested in that) Ren's lightsaber would be nice. An unstable blade with crossguard. I say again, I don't ask this for myself, it's not a mod request! I'm asking you to join me and let's give something for this community. Anyone who is interested, skilled, and could spare some time for this, please reply to this topic or Pm me. Thanks in advance, and don't stop playing this great game! (Sorry, my English might be a little rusty, I don't really have the opportunity to practice nowdays. Also, I wrote this on my phone, so sorry about spelling mistakes, if there's any, autocorrect can be a pain in the...)

Thanks guys! I didn't even think about the stock replacer. :)

Hey guys and girls! The last three days I was looking for a HGEC version of the Crusader armor (from Knights of the Nine), without any result. Is someone who can help me to find one? If it works with Revelation too, that's more better. I never play Knights of the Nine without that mod. I'm using normal body type with D cup, and LL lowerbody size. Aaand BBB too, but it isn't important to get a BBB version. Thanks in advance! :)

Yeah, okay it works like charm. I dunno what did i do wrong yesterday night (it was very late night, maybe I was tired), but the mods are working perfectly together, even if I remove the unwanted anims. Sometimes I'm wandering how can I be so silly. It wasn't the first time when I wanted to do a simple thing in a more difficult way. :D Thanks Striker. I think the time has come to add you as a friend. ;)
-
You know what? Maybe I'll do it anyway. Perhaps it won't be so bad. And it's the easier than go through a diffcult "CSing". I'll tell here what the result is.
-
It has some animations, I wouldn't like to see in my game. But if I delete them the mod doesn't work.

Hey guys and girls! I have some problem with my female character, which would be very important to me to work like I want it to. I downloaded "Woman's move", to give her a nice walking and running animation, but the mod doesn't contains a "stand still" animation, it remained vanilla. And I saw it more than one time, others using a "stand still" idle with it, without any problems. I would like to use this idle (just focus on "stand still"): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVxsuTSf2rQ I found the idle, a mod called "Pretty Woman" contains it, but that would replace my movement anims too. And I would like to add only the "stand still" idle. Please, watch the video, (you don't have to watch the whole thing of course), and if someone knows that idle, and can tell me where to get it, please do it! I'm sure what I see in the video is "Woman's move". But the standing idle is not a part of that. I have already noticed a lot of players with female character, uses this standing animation. If there's no way to get a standalone version of the idle, maybe someone could tell me how to add it to Woman's move through the Construction Set? Remember: I have the idle but only as a part of another mod. I know it can be added through the CS, but dunno how.... Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I know, it's a Skyrim topic, but I still need a voice actor. :D

Is UV compatible with Deadly Reflex?
DrutarTheSavage replied to DrutarTheSavage's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
Wow! I didn't notice that! Thank you! This "criticals" are totally the same as ind Deadly Reflex? I mean the decapitations, guttings, and all? Thanks anyway. I think I was lazy again, didn't noticed there's a new version. :) -
I'll need one. I'm working on a Conan project for Oblivion. Send me some sample and I'll tell you more. If you're interested, write me a PM, and I'll give you my mail adress. See ya!
