  1. I'm having the same issue! I'm not an expert at modding and spent hours trying to work out what I'd done wrong before coming to the forums and seeing this post. Did you manage to solve it or find out the cause? Any help would be appreciated!
  2. Oh  Well thanks for looking into it for me at least, so is the situation basically not fixable? Without getting a new laptop that it :( That's a shame, I actually spent ages and ages looking at different posts and websites (such as this one: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/65716151/738139048) to try and make sure it would run and I thought it would be okay. Nevermind :( I guess I'll just keep the game until a day comes when I can afford a new laptop, or I could just try to get used to the lag, but if it's only going to get worse the longer I play then I don't see the point. Thanks again though :)
  3. Hi, thank you for your help, camaro_69_327 :) Like I said, I'm new to forum posting and things so I'm not always sure what I need to say and what doesn't need to be said. Anyway, here is my load order from BOSS, I hope I've done this right, And for my computer spec, I hope I've not missed anything out because to be honest a lot of this means nothing to me. 6 GB of RAM, Windows 7 64-bit, AMD A6-4400M, AMD Radeon HD 7520G. I'll try those things you suggested and get back to you if that's all right, thanks again :)
  4. Hi, I'm sorry for bringing up a semi-old thread, but I'm still having troubles and still need help :/ Since I last posted I've tried a few things, I'll list them now: - Checking my load order with BOSS. I can't remember exactly what it said and I'm not on my laptop at the moment so I can't check. I think everything was okay apart from the unofficial patched, but I think it said they shouldn't be cleaned somewhere. I don't know, I might need help with that. - I've deactivated: Realistic Lighting, Touring Carriages, the SkyTEST one and also footprints because I read somewhere that that can cause script lag. - I've lowered my resolution and some other settings slightly. - I've tried tweaking with the papyrus section of the ini from what some people have said online in other threads, but it hasn't helped solve the high latency at all. And I've probably tried a few other things I've forgotten too. When I do the latency test with Convenient Horses it comes out on average over 150 and sometimes peaks over 1000, which is definately not right. Also Frostfall tells me everytime I play that the game's scripting engine is running too slow for Frostfall to run or something. So, has anyone got any ideas? I don't know what causes script lag at all or how I can solve it. According to the Conveinent Horses page it can be because of dirty saves, but Ive only been playing on my save for 10 hours at the very most since the majority of my time is searching the web for solutions to these problems. What is it that makes a save dirty and how do I know if mine is? And I'm guessing it can't be fixed if it is dirty. So what do you suggest I do? Sorry if I'm sounding annoying and confused, which I am, I just don't know how to solve these. Apologies for any errors or anything in advance and thanks for any help you can provide :)
  5. Fair enough. I'l try it out anyway. Thanks for the help.
  6. Oh okay, I'll check that out. But will that actually solve the problem? Does a bad load order cause the issues I was having? Thanks anyway :)

  8. Hi, this is my first post on this forum (so I hope I do everything right) (Sorry if I spell anything wrong as well). Basically, I have a problem, but I'm not sure what is causing it. I'm running on what I'm told is a low end machine (everything is above minimum spec, but my graphics card is below reccomended). I've had Skyrim for a week or so and played for a couple of hours. I have downloaded maybe 40 or so mods, some that only do little things and some larger ones, and some that I thought were supposed to improve lag like FPS limiter. I don't have any graphics mods, apart from Realistic Lighting Overhall. I have my settings on medium (ish) I think, in case that's important. I've not noticed much visible lag, only in a few areas. But I think something is causing lag or something, I don't really know that much about these sorts of things. It first became apparent to me through Frostfall because it kept telling me that the script was running too slow or something (I can't remember the exact phrasing.) After that I did a 'latency test' through Convenient Horses I think (I don't even know what it means) and it came out above 200 if I remember correctly. What does this mean? I've looked online and cant find much apart from it can be down to bloated save files, don't I'm certain that can't be the reason in my case because my safe file only has maybe four hours at the most put into it. I run the game through the SKSE thing and I've noticed that when I close the game it has a notice saying something like it failed to initiaze render or something. I don't know what that means either? So I don't have a clue what I've done wrong basically. Or if my computer just can't cope with the game or if it's a mod issue or what. Any help is appreictaed. Thanks :)
