  1. I know this topic is already a few months old but I believe it to be a valid discussion, so here goes my thoughts on this: I have around 100 plugins in my load order and as I progressed through the game (having accumulated 80 hours on a single character), the only problem I encountered were the increasing load times. In the last few days, it started taking around 2 minutes to load a save file (be it from the main menu or when I die, etc.). But other loads, such as when entering a new area, only take around 5~10 seconds. So I started looking into it, and found this thread. I have to thank you, MrLesPaul, for I would've never imagined that weapon mods would be the ones increasing my load times that much! By deactivating Millenia's weapon mods, I got the savefile loadtimes back to ~10 seconds. Really something to think about. Maybe, when loading a savefile, the game will load ALL of the equipment from ALL of the NPCs in the cell into the memory at the same time, and thus will not have to load them again when your character change locations and such, so only the first loading time is affected? Well, the funny thing is that, looking further into it, I downloaded multiple high-res texture packs, such as NMCs Texture Pack, PocoBueno, EVE and various clutter-related retextures. Using ALL of them at the same time, only increased my loadtime from 10 to 15 seconds, while using multiple Millenia's weapon mods increased my loadtime to around 1 to 2 minutes. It doesn't even make sense! The weapon textures aren't even that big, compared to these other mods. Is there anyone out there who is a little more knowledgeable about this, and could explain why is this happening? There must be something else in the equation. Also, are other people having the same problem? TL-DR: Millenia's weapon mods appear to increase loadtime several times more than other high-quality texture mods PS: I really like Millenia's mods and appreciate the work he/she put into it, they are definitely a piece of art. I hope someone manages to find a fix!
  2. Have you tried loading earlier saves, especially a save made in an interior cell (for example, a house or an inn)? I had this problem just today, and here is how i fixed it - I managed to load an older save in Breezehome, and, using the INI tweaks provided by millenna in this very thread, i performed the `map rotation`. Then I proceeded to load my recent save filed that wasn`t loading (without closing the game! It must be done after loading the map) and everything worked just fine. There is no guarantee that it will work for you too, but please try it. Edit: As a side note, your papyrus log seems a little bloated. The culprits seem to be companionshousekeepingscript and playervampirequestscript, you might want to look at which mods are adding/moddifying these particular scripts. But as far as I know, the only bad thing these scripts could cause would be performance problems during the gameplay (like needing more memory or causing CTD), and should not interfere with loading unless they are bloating the game save (check if your game saves are too big - they should be around 5mb for a new character and 20mb for an end game character). But if your saves and your game are running fine then there might be no problem. As a last resource you can try deactivating mods until you isolate the culprit. But try loading your save first.
  3. Thank you so much, I'll take a look at that. Seems to have lots of cool stuff :whistling:
