  1. Hi folks! I'm having some trouble with several mods. I am wondering if it has something to do with the fact that I've gone and split my mods between bethesda.net and NMM. I have some in each. Has anyone run into problems with this? DLC: Automatron Contraptions Wasteland Vault-tec NMM Mods(in no particular order. Will do load order in a bit): Thematic and practical(Installed, doesn't seem to be working) Settlement keywords expanded Homemaker Place Everywhere Scrap Everything DLC Neutered F4SE Achievements BethNet:(in load order according to beth.net) 1. AWKCR 2.AWKCR automatron patch 3. AWKCR contraptions patch 4. AWKCR vault-tec patch 5. SSEX 6. SOE 7. Locksmith 8. Settlement Management Software 9. NCR Veteran Armor 10. Improved map w/visible roads 11. Holstered Weapons by Azar 12. Eyes of Beauty 13. K-9 Harness 14. Solar Power 15. DKS-501 sniper rifle 16. Misfit Ink 17. Ponytails by Azar 18. Lots More Beards and Mustaches 19. Improved Power Armor Paint 20. Lots more male hair 21. Lots more Female hair 22. More Power Armor paint. 23. planted plantable 24. gold trimmed power armor(I have yet to see) 25. Customisable Vault suits. Now, load order according to NMM: Now the problems I am having are: Thematic and practical, is not showing up anywhere. uninstalled, reinstalled, with and without cheat mode. Nothing. I also tried to use the desert eagle mod, but had an invisible gun, despite following the authors directions explicitly. Some of the customisations are not showing up on my combat armor/power armor. Colors, decals etc. I tried adding lore-firendly posters as well, but had an invisible menu category. The game said the things were there, but they were invisible. The same thing also happened with SKE's minuteman propaganda posters. Also, my decon arches are suddenly not working. it plays the animation, but doesn't remove the rads. Regardless of how long I stand there, or how many times I go back and forth through the silly thing. I don't know if this is related to anything, but thought it worth mentioning. I know I don't have all the DLC, but I have scoured both beth.net and Nexus for patches and have not found any beyond what I already have. I also know I am not running the unofficial patch because I have been unable to find a version that isn't for all DLC. Any suggestions or input?
  2. I've heard/had a similar discussion before. What I gleaned from it was removing the fusion core only works if there are no other cores anywhere in the settlement(workshop, containers, or vendors), and it's a completely empty frame. I have found that most of the time, you can ask a settler via dialogue to get out of the armor, but that may not apply to just frames. I have been able to mostly avoid it since then by using the "setownership 7" command in the console. But that will only stop settlers/friendlies from jacking your armor. It won't stop raiders/gunners.
  3. I use locksmith, in combination with the console "setownership 7" command. While it is not foolproof, it works 90% of the time. One thing I have found with this: Every time I have had a settler sleep in my owned bed or behind a locked door, I get frustrated and shoot them, after about the fifth time it happens--with a finger on the quickload I might add. Every time this has happened, the offender has turned out to be a synth infiltrator. So, my theory is as follows: If there is one particular settler that you keep finding in your bed, behind a locked door, they could be a synth. Shoot them in the head(out of view, with a silent weapon), collect the synth component(s), and dispose of the body. It would make sense that an infiltrator would ignore ownership and locks, by virtue of the fact they are indeed infiltrators sent to find and/or steal secrets. I'm not sure if this is actual fact/game mechanic, or if that's just the way it's worked out for me. It may be presumptuous of me to think something in a Bugthesda game would make sense.
  4. Greetings folks. I've been searching the mod pages for days, and have yet to turn up anything that suggests having this. I am an avid builder, and I'm looking for a mod that allows me to add things like bullet holes and/or laser burns to my buildings. With the mods I use(homemaker, ssex, and soe) many of my buildings seem to look too clean. I think the ability to add scorch marks and bullet holes would be a great thing to break up the 'too clean' look. Does anyone know if a mod like this exists, or how to make one? I know next to nothing nothing about writing mods. I made a few custom weapons for original Skyrim and that's about it. Even those only marginally worked the way I wanted them to. I'm not adverse to learning how to do so, but I don't even know if what I'm asking is possible. I don't see why it wouldn't be, but as previously stated I know nothing about modding. If anyone has any input and/or is willing to make something like this(or even teach me how) I would sure appreciate it. And if something like this already exists, but I haven't found it, point me in the right direction with apologies for requesting something that's already out there.
