Yes, there are waaay more real gun mods than fictional ones. Of course, the fictional guns are just as fun. If you want fictional guns, just look for Warhammer 40K weapons. There are some Tau rifles that I personally use all the time. Other than that, try Classic Fallout Weapons, 20th Century Weapons and HeroinZero's multitudes of well made guns. There's a lot of good stuff if you look for it.

It'd better turn out like that. I want to have an Abe Lincoln follower, for sure! 'Course, someone could just mod him into the game... *scratches chin thoughfully*

-
And how might I do that? I never could figure that out.
Oh, and the mod is almost ready to be uploaded for testing. I'll put up some screens ASAP, if I can get my PrintScreen button to work.

There are a few good ones. DaiShiHUN's Tau weapons are pretty good, and so are HeroinZero's FG42 and XM 586 Assault Rifle/ Grenade Launcher. As for armor, the best has to be the Coyote Reflex Power Armor, with Better Medic Power Armor coming in second. Just look at the topp 100 for weapons and armor and you're bound to find some.

Actually, the 'Intelligence the way it should have been' would be quite easy to make. The dialogue, at least. Just add conditions that check the player's intelligence. I think in Fallout 1/2 3 or less made you a moron, so there's something to go by.
As for non dialogue, I guess someone could make a script for things like disarming the Megaton Nuke- there is a random chance that, if you have 3 or less intelligence, you might accidentally rig the bomb to explode.
This also allows for improved perks, like an idiot-savant perk: Despite your low intelligence, you are really proficient with one skill, or something like that.
This also requires a flip side - smart characters should get their own improvements and whatnot. Overall, this "XXXXXX as it should have been" is a pretty good idea!

I'm afraid you can't find that mod anywhere, but there are some sniper themed mods you might like, such as:
I'm not sure if Zooming Scoped Weapons is compatible with Increased Zoom, as I only use ZSW. I hope those links help!

Now that a glitch causing it to crash my game has been fixed, I am fully working on Ashley, a companion for Fallout 3.
FEATURES:
-Intriguing backstory with a branch of the Commonwealth, will be explored in a separate quest mod.
-Skilled with small guns, explosives, sneaking, and can repair your gear.
-Sagely wisdom: from useful advice to ridiculous pop culture references, this dialogue option (with many, many responses, I might add) will always surprise you.
-Most of the standard follower fare
TO BE ADDED (Hopefully):
-Commonwealth related quest that is itself a nod to a certain show that I will not disclose as of yet...
-Teleport device: with this, she'll always be with you! (Unless you make her wait or fire her, of course)
-Custom rifle
-non-vanilla textures
How you can help:
I need someone to make textures for her face and hair, so that she isn't of the ugly vanilla variety of NPCs. Textures and meshes are not my forte, that goes to quests and NPCs.
Keep watching this thread; I'll try to keep you all updated! I'm quite dedicated to doing this, so you can be sure I'll finish it!

Heh, no. When I load the game with the esp active, it crashes. It did not have this problem earlier, even thought I did not change much. To be exact, I remade it exactly, except without dependancy on FOOK, to make it just require Fallout.esm. I have tried to run it with all other mods deactivated, in non-FOSE mode, etc, but it still crashes. When it doesn't crash, on earlier versions of the follower, the follower does not appear. On those versions, the esp is activated, the game does not crash, but the NPC does not appear.
Oh, and the crash happens on startup, not when I load a save or go to the NPCs location. Is there anything I may have accidentally changed that causes this, perhaps?
And to clarify again, the esp is only dependant on Fallout.esm, nothing else.

It may be a problem with one of her AI packages, that tells her to wait at the Rivet City Bar when fired, taken from Butch. Also, the game crashes when I try to load it with the .esp active for some reason. Is that related? It hasn't happened before, and I am 100% sure it is the follower esp causing it.
Oh, and they are not initially disabled.
-
Well, it's not just followers, it's NPCs. I'm attempting to make a follower NPC, and I make the NPC, their AI packages, dialogue, scripts, etc., and place them in the world ( in this case, Rivet City). I make sure everything is right (as far as I know), I load up the game with the .esp enabled, go to Rivet City, and the NPC isn't there. What am I doing wrong?
