I've been trying to replace the shockwave refraction effect in explosionbigfiry.nif with a simple textured geosphere, but no matter what I try it just causes Fallout 3 to crash while loading a saved game. I'm pretty sure I've got all the properties and links right, and the texture shows up in the NifSkope render window... any ideas that might help? Screenshot comparing the new .nif to the old one
