Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but a while ago I bought Fallout 3 game of the year edition on Steam. I have placed the base game a long time ago, and I had moded the game before Nexus mod manager and Vortex. I’d like to use Vortex again to mod it, rather than Fallout mod manager, simply because my experience with Modding using that, is taking out the folders and putting them in appropriate places. Like a YouTuber had said, Vortex makes things easy, and I had read that someone managed to get Fallout 3 mods to work using that. Mostly, I’d like to get some mods that change Megaton, including the player home in that, but I was thinking of just getting the Underground bunker, or underwater bunker, since it has the sorting capability that I like. I’d also would like to get the Cheat menu, and levelers if such a thing exists, and lastly, something to modify energy weapons, to strengthen them. Oh, and a Beauty/Body mod. Will these works with Vortex? I did try to use a CBB mod using vortex, but it didn’t work. Is there any specific way?

Recently I was able to get my hands on a new computer, which had the parts required to play the game which is Gpu: GeForce GTX 960 CPU: Intel[R] Core[TM] i7-6700 CPU@ 3.40 GHz Memory 16.00 GB ram And windows 10 I have no mods at all; neither do I have the nexus mod manager yet However, although it does let me go to the title screen and I can click the new save thing, however, it takes a while to load, and eventually the little spinning ting freezes and I crash to desktop. Fallout 4 was one of the reasons why I wanted to get an upgrade, but I can't play it. Is there any fix? I tried to do the verify thing, which didn’t seem to help, and I tried the run as admin, but when I do it always pops up in the game when I try to play asking if I want to let it run, and crashes to desktop with a new game appearing when I try which once again pops up.

The Moonshadow place seems coolish, I would honestly like to go there, and yeah I also think if you are Azura's champion, she may try to protect you from her world's effects. The second i would go to would be The Hunting grounds, a goon place to test out weapons and spells as well as spell and weapon mods.

well Setownership does make it so that if anythings marked in red it changes back to the other color, i think you could do that to a door and the things inside.

to be honest..i would feel better if they had more playable races.. Elder scrolls had 4 humans, 3 elves and two beast races Fallout has only three humans.

I am not sure, but it could be the EVE no dlc because you now have DLC now but again i am not sure if that's the problem.

You all make some really good points. I do agree that it’s plausible for an amnesiac person to forget the skills he/she has learned. I don’t know much about brains only that if you get shot in the head you die, and with there being energy weapons perhaps that had an effect, like a sort of electro-shock therapy which forces the amnesia, and makes him/her forget what he or she had learned. With the Mojave express being closer to Good springs, I have thought and wondered what if instead of one delivery the courier had to make it had been two? What I am saying is this. What if the courier was given the chip, but with another courier being very sick or injured/old that he or she couldn’t make it to good springs, perhaps being a good person that Six was he or she decided to take along the other’s delivery, letting him rest and recuperate. This thought process is because I have found stuff in mail boxes, and perhaps the courier was the one who delivered them. What do you all think?

I myself have found the freezing also but for me its been at the start of the game where Hadvar goes the "as far as i am concerned " parts, also strangely the water by the waterfalls are a pink color. [i recently got a new computer and i have windows 7 on it.]

ok, i had just finished taking for Fros-something for the imperials then i had to go back to solitude to report to the General. I dont know if its related but when i got there there was two dragons flying over head. I decided to ignore them and go to the Legion area. my screen goes black before it disappears to desktop and i have to reclick the skyrim button. could this be a problem with a mod? I know for a fact i have nothing that changes Solitude. I also tried placeatme and setstage as well as the movetoqt consol commands but none of them work.

Heya, I got Skyrim for Steam, and went to the workshop thingy to download mods from there, I downloaded a bunch of them, because they looked great to me. But when I go to the game and put the new game. The menu disappears but leaves the Skyrim symbol with the smoke. This is all that happens, i assume that it takes time so i wait, then go to the bathroom come back nothing happens. went to go eat come back nothing happens. What i would like to know is going the longer manually putting mods in is better than the short way, also would you all recommend the new nexus mod manager? I am going out of town on the 27th for surgery and while i am recovering i would actually like to play something, and not have to worry about something screwing up.

there was a mod that lets you see what you are typing in hte chest area, i downloaded it, but since i had to reinstall my windows i cant find it here, could someone please link me?

there should be a save folder where characters are placed.. though its actually safe files..

Heya everyone I am not a Modder, probly won’t be able to make a good mod... but anyways I was wondering could a patch be made to allow a lot of mods which add stuff to one place well...be there? What I mean is there are a lot of mods which add stuff like to the IC districts and well I would like to add them to my game. But I am afraid of adding them in case I get a crash and will have to manually find which mod is causing it... I think there was someone who would merge the mods into one esp. but I forgot whom it was. Oh and I think there were some mods that require shivering island, but I don’t have that yet...

is this still being made or done? because i think i would like to have this mod on my list as well if its ok.

i seriously want to download something like this, seriously.
