I don't understand all the hate i'm seeing here against Steam. Steam basically has saved PC gaming, just admit it, they have deals there all the time and on the holidays it goes crazy, i saw huge titles at even 50% off, you don't see that at retail stores, plus they'r download speeds aren't bad i usually get around 1 mb/s, if your having problems with it just change to a different less used download server or your internet connection is just terrible.

im having a little trouble, apparently all the victoryrifleknockdown effect does is to well.. knock down the npc i shoot, and i cant seem to change the time they stay down so im trying to figure out how to make an effect that makes npc's that i shoot get knocked out for about 2 minutes or so, so could any one teach me how or make one for me with instructions on how to modify the time the npc's stay unconscious, thanks.

wait, did you open the correct esp?

you will have to open up the geck, go into static and find the models then click edit and locate the textures, or you could just ask the author of the mod if you dont want to screw something up if you dont know about the geck

have you tried to make sure you have all the textures and the geck has the correct path to them?

dont remember what its called again, but do you have archive invalidation validated? if not you should get it, a lot of common texture problems are fixed by this Archiveinvalidation

oh how i would love to if fallout 4 would be like this, considering bethesda now has the id tech5 engine this could well be possible, the environment could have a lot of different textures as the tech5 engine allows a lot and i mean by a lot of different textures unlike bethesda has done with the gambryo wich is getting kind of old, trees with falling leaves and such.

I had no idea where to put this so i decided to post this here.
So i often check on new images and on many if not most have comments such as "very nice" "nice" and basically very very very short comments and they always are endorsements, what i'm getting at here is, can those that write comments like that possibly spend more time on what they write, maybe provide feedback to the uploader of the image "very nice" endorsements really start to loose they're value once they are on every single image out there, so please say something more meaning-full than just "very nice" when you decide to comment on an image. ;)

i doubt its because its not in the steam folder, any other suggestions? maybe there is an option to change wich folder it looks form esm's and esp's etc

im getting very pissed, i have a ton of ideas that im just waiting to do, but nooo when i get the supposedly "new" geck for new vegas, and install it and run it, all i see are all the esm's in the data directory in the fallout 3 directory not the new vegas data directory here is a "detailed" picture

so, are you thinking about completely editing stuff? such as making a longer barrel on a gun, for that you need blender but nifskope can be usefull, you should start with Adding Silencers To Weapons

in my personal opinion, Steam saved PC gaming, just look at it, open steam up and all these offers 50% off huge packs of games and a ton more, costs less than dvd, you dont have to worry about loosing a disk or a CD key (unless you get hacked, wich only happens if your stupid) pluss it has steamworks, achivements and ofc you can chat with your friends, ive never had problems with it.

I don't think the Norse entered Valhalla through the passage of a boat exclusivly. I read somewhere that this was one of the options not the only one.
And there's a heaven of cheese? What kind of religion is that? Because those people sure know how to worship, but I'm still sticking to Catholicism. ;D :P :yes:
oh alot of people still believe in norse mythology, including one of my teachers, over here at iceland we still stick to old viking traditions and yeah, we still eat raw shark that has been buried in a hole of dirt for 3 weeks straight, im currently an athiest and if anything i'd worship norse mythology or buddhaism, "I don't think the Norse entered Valhalla through the passage of a boat exclusivly" thats so wrong in so many ways, 1st warriors entered valhalla if they died in a glorious battle and became "einherjar" basically the soldiers of the gods sooo.. yeah.

what do you think the world would look like in 200 years post what you think. in my opinion war will happen every one dies bla bla bla the earth gets sucked into the sun and we all get disintegrated. i am just looking for peoples point of view in what the world would look like in 200 years. and this does have a connection to fallout 3 as its possible of a nuclear war. and yeah you know whats gonna happen wait for me vivos i am still out here!!!!
oh earth isnt going to get sucked into the ever so growing sun until atleast 1 million years so no worries, i think global warming will get more extreme, resource wars, united states will rebel against it self, soviet union will be restored to its former glory and the EU will either splitt or the only place for peace as for the place where i live if there will be a war against russia and united states (unlikely) either the streets will be swarming with russian troops or american troops since this place if there are missiles set up here they would be in good range of europe and united states, so.. yah.

ive seen a ton of people do this before, anyway what im trying to do is to get a raider that spawns just like any other raider and i want him to use a custom weapon i made.

so, ive made a ton of weapons and now i want to make armor i already know how to edit in blender but the problem is, i have no idea how to get it in-game and all my tries end up terribly, either the helmet/armor doesnt show up on my character if i equip it OR its leaning to the side like its floating in the air im getting so frustrated of this so if any one who has experience in making armors and getting them in-game could you be so nice to inform me how.

Download fo3 plugin utility.
Run it, open mod A.
Choose edit -> merge plugins, choose mod B, C, D, etc... from the list.
Save.

Hello, im having some problems trying to combine some of my mods into 1 esp that doesnt require the esp's of the mods im combining to be checked, im trying to do this by geck but so far i have had no luck, if any one has done this or knows how to do this please tell me how, thanks.

You might want to talk to the author of the 20th Century Weapons mod. In most (all?) of that mod's models, the scope is a separate mesh that can easily be copied out to another model. If I remember correctly, there are several different styles of scopes, so you'd have a few to pick from as well.
i looked at that mod but i dont see as many scopes as you said there were, only one on a mosin nagant but the thing im looking for here is a vanilla scope of the sniper rifle in fallout 3, not a new mesh. but thanks for the tip!

Agree, fallout has always been in the US and thats a part of its style, like how its stuck in a retro perspective of the 50's, changes can be good but not always, who knows, it might be the most un-fallout'ish game there is if its set in Europe/Asia.
