  1. Hey all, I'm looking for a mod that fixes the problem of rain going through roofed areas. Preferably one that works with Project Reality. Heck, if no one is willing to do it if someone could give me an idea of how its done I would take a crack at it if it isn't too hard. Thanks all!
  2. Hey all, I'm using the Community Uncapper with Skyrim Redone and I'm leveling way too fast. Every time my one-handed skill ticks I gain like a third of a level or more. I turned down the speed in which the skills level, but is there a way to turn down how much of a level each skill point gives toward a level? Thanks all!

Hey all, Sometimes my character draws his sword and the animation works fine and other times it just kind of pops up like he was holding it the whole time, when this happens he also does not put it away correctly, his hands just kind of drop downward. It's a little annoying. :( Any way to fix this? Thanks guys!
  4. I have them set to as high as I can set them. And now I'm experiencing some graphics glitchs in Lothering, gonna try removing the mod to see if it goes away. Also, am I able to use the Generic Mod Enabler with Dragon Age?
  5. Well, as far as I can tell I put the mod in correctly. But I don't see any change in game so, I'm not sure if I did something wrong or not.
  6. Yeah, I downloaded both of them. But I thought that when you unzipped them they unzipped into a single folder.
  7. I only got one folder, not one for each. I thought that the two parts unzipped into a single folder.
  8. Hey all, I have a couple questions. The first is about the mod JB3 textures. Do you really just put the whole JB3 folder in the overide folder? Or do you take the stuff from the folder and put it in the overide? Second, I would appriciate any suggestions on mods that increase graphics and immersion. I currently have Dragon Age Redesigned and JB3, if there are any others that would go along with those, I'd be grateful. Thanks guys!
  9. Hey all, I'm wondering, how hard it is to add NPCs to the world map, in towns that go around and do their daily routine. They don't have to have dialog other than the generic "How ya doin?" kind of dialog most unimportant NPCs have but I want them to do stuff like adults go to work and come home, maybe go to the bar. Children run around and play together, come home, eat and sleep. All that good stuff. So, how hard it is to make NPCs do that? I know my way around the GECK but I haven't yet dabbled in NPCs and their behaviours. Thanks all!
  10. Nope, no new vegas folder. But I have found that the mods work if I put a textures and meshes folder in the regular data folder in the install directory and put the textures in there.
  11. Nope, no luck. Reinstalled it in Program Files and there is still no textures folder. :(
  12. They aren't in MyGames. I installed the game to Programfiles (x86) But its not there, not in steam, and not in mygames. I'm going to reinstall the game and see what happens, then I'll report back.
  13. There is no fallout new vegas folder there at all. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common After that there is nothing, common is an empty folder.
  14. It was the 357 retex mod. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36616 It gives me a texture folder to put in the games data folder. But, I can't find the texture folder anywhere. One place said that you have to make the folder yourself, I tried that. I went to Steam/steamapp/common and made a Fallout New Vegas/Data and put the texture folder in it. Didn't work.
  15. I got the 357 magnum and realized right away that it needed a retex, so I headed over here and sure enough there is a nice one. So I downloaded it and went to put it in and realized I can't for the life of me figure out where the texture folder is. In FO3 it was right in the data folder. I did a search and they said it was in the steam/steamapp/common but I went there and its not in there. I mean, the game works peachy keen, no missing textures or anything so they have to be somewhere. Am I going to have to reinstall the game?
  16. Hey, I'm looking for a list of every single command in the Fallout 3 scripting language. I have been to the geck wiki and see them there, I'm just wanting to know if that is a 100% complete list of every single one. Also, is there an actual name for the script language? Thank you!
  17. I've seen numerous hp mods. Such as food restores overtime, food restores instant, even a mod that gives the player a base hp recharge based on how thirsty, hungry and well rested you are. But unfortunately I haven't seen one like GoW2. But, I am by NO means an expert so don't take my comment as the end all. :)

  19. I am in the process of making my own mod. In theory it's going to be a very large comprehensive mod but seeing as how I am new to modding I need to ask a few questions that I didn't see answered when I read the tutorials on modding and the GECK. 1. I'm looking to make a "condition" that will afflict the player and be incurable by a doctor. Kind of like addiction but I don't want it to say "You have become addicted to XXX" I would like it to say a custom message. I'm going to make a medicine that relieves it for a time, but does not cure it entirely. 2. I would like to make a door that is locked unless you have a specific item in your inventory. Not like a key, but an item that would automatically unlock the door. Perhaps showing a message or a voice saying something when the door unlocks. 3. I know their are mods made by people in which the NPCs actually talk just like a normal NPC. How do you do that? And is there a tutorial/guide? I'm sure I will have other questions, but these will help me get started. I appreciate any help you guys can give! Thanks!
  20. I just put the data in, and sure enough. Crash on startup. . . I'm getting really frustrated. :(
  21. The thing I'm worried about is after I put in the hotfix data file last time, thats when it stopped working.
  22. Ok, I got it all to work and many things that were not working are now working. I got a 10mm replacer to work that wouldnt before. the MMM pip-boy menu works. But, on the other hand I still can't get the No Gore mods to work and the Ammo weight still doesn't work. Also, there were a few new developments. 1. I had to disable the mods when I started the game because the screen would go black just after you are born. 2. Missing meshes or textures, whichever causes those red exclamation point warnings (Screenshot attached) 3. I had 1 crash when I first entered Megaton. I reloaded and tried it again and it worked fine so maybe it was just a glitch.
  23. Ok, I installed FOOK2 and all its updated plugins and hotfix data and hotfix.esp and all that. Now, by itself it is crashing on startup. Even with all the plugins deactivated it crashes. . . :( Am I supposed to put in that Hotfix data and the Beta 1.1 Data? It has like Meshes and Textures and stuff. Or am I just supposed to use the updated plugins and nothing else?
  24. We tried starting it with all the plugins off and it wont start. I said heck with it and am in the process of starting over fresh with a new install that doesn't have a dozen mod files in their that aren't used. Will let you know when it's done.
