Also in response to that second bit - I would be perfectly okay with only a few guns having flashlights attached. The Assault Rifle and 10mm pistols are probably very appropriate choices.

See, I stumbled upon that too. My reasons for not using it is because it's a little flow-breaking. I'll keep thinking, "Well, where does this beam come from?" With the response coming right from the description: "The beam magically comes out of your player's face, so in that sense it's not really a flashlight." But thanks for the response mate!

Hey, I've been recently scouring everywhere to try and find something like this but to no avail. How's about a weapon mod for rail-equipped weapons (Marksman rifle, Assault Rifle, modern pistols and SMGs,) that is just a simple underslung flashlight? I hate the pip-boy light, and I don't want it brighter either - I've certainly seen mods that do do that sort of thing. No, I just want a directional light, so rather than illuminating the entire room it simply illuminates the current facing - keeping some of the survival/horror elements inherent in dealing with dark dungeon-esque caves and Vaults, but still providing much needed illumination without going too far overboard. I've no experience in modding else Hell, I'd do it myself. Anyone up to the task of helpin' out a git?
