A port of this mod DOVABLING https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53767/?tab=description got taken down yesterday but i already downloaded it. I came back to see any comments but it's deleted with no explanation. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/84980 Since i already have it in my game skyrim 1.6.650 GOG do i uninstall it now? Is it safe to use? Why was it taken down? I realise this may not be a tech problem but without any reason given i've no idea if it's safe to use or not now..

I won't pretend to be knowledgable about any of this & no i never saw that guide. I tried nmm because i also used it for a long time with oldrim, now using drm free gog skyrim & when i reached 255 plugin limit & tried to install any esl it didn't work. I reluctantly am now using vortex where you can actually click esps & switch them into light mods easily. Vortex actually tells you if an esp can be made light or not even mods i didn't know you could change like racemenu are now light! Again have little idea what i'm doing just trying to have fun mostly. Modding is confusing af lol

Selections stopped working because menus are too fast, i use gog game 1.6,659 with nexus mod manager, don't lol at me? Heavy load order reaching 252 plugins & am going to uninstall everything & start over with vortex. Don't know what caused this at all but unplayable so... Nexus mod manager was fine with oldrim but AE requires a mod manager that doesn't count esls as plugins like NMM. Infuriating but with the menus not working it's he final nail in the coffin. I've read here & there that this game ending bug is usually a mouse problem but i use a controller. Either way has anyone else suffered this bug? Any advice?

Nexus mod manager you reach 255 limit even with esl plugins. No matter what your using when you add a new plugin it counts. I keep hearing this esls dont count but they do with nmm. Is this feature only for mo2 & vortex?

When you enter a dungeon the map shows the areas you've walked to, would it be possible to include some type of map completion result? For dungeons & or all of skyrim? I use the gog skyrim and really if it was made for any version of the game it'd be a nice feature. I liked map completion in metroidvania 2d games but I don't think it's ever been a thing in skyrim.

is there an enb that shows wet surfaces when raining for special edition? On oldrim i discovered that kwanon enb did this but need help for skyrim ae? Currently using performance enb but have no idea how to enable such a thing. Kwanon enb worked out of the box..

Hello so i used to mess around with oldrim textures using gimp. Using the skyrim anniversary GOG 1.6.659.0 I discovered that gimp can't see any .dds files anymore so i'm trying paint.net which can see/create the .dds images needed for the game. Question is can anyone explain how to save a .dds image through paint.net? There are so many different settings to choose from? If i don't choose the correct settings the image will fail to work in game. EDIT: ok its BC3 (Linear,DXT5) setting & "generate mip maps" ticked. Hope this helps someone.

it's drm free, that's a big deal lol. Racemenu & skse in general being updated is what people with gog version are waiting for that's all. Skyrim without skse mods isn't much fun. Initial excitment that i don't need steam anymore but didn't realise there would be so much struggle with mods though it's recent too so... Everyone with the drm frree gog skyrim will just have to wait & hope then, great.

Racemenu, skyui & DAR won't work & many others. The collections don't work either & ALL mod managers are problematic too. Had the game for a week+ still can't run mods

Loot doesn't help. DAR & racemenu both won't work with anniversary exe or skui. i'll keep an eye out for tutorials & updates

Not sure what the situation here is with gog-rim but any help is appreciated as i cant even get skyui or racemenu to work with nmm or mo2. I've been trying modmanager2 for the 1st time ever with the new GOG version but am having many troubles finding mods that work. Anyone know of a video guide for GOG skyrim? Do I need skyui for instance because modmanager2 says it's invalid as is racemenu. Skyrim without the racemenu is no fun at all anniversary or not. Please help? is vortex easy to set up & start installing? Is there a guide for that even?

Ok thanks for all the useless help, it WAS load order. I fixed it by moving wintermyst as high as possible on my load order. Loot won't save you when you start moving things after it's recommendation, it's risky if you just don't know what you're doing..

I think my problem is wintermyst, it's the only vendor related mod i have... Also ordinator & wintermyst, i've used both many times in the past but this time ordinator is messing up in the perk tree too... some of the skills won't show for use after i unlocked them like the drum dance.

But i use only 205 esp's so how have I got too many plugins? I don't understand this. If 205 esp's is too much then what is a more stable limit?

Hello, I have 205 active plugins, i thought the limit was 250? What would be a more stable number of plugins? I use a mod manager with loot. I have cleaned my save/scrpts with save tool.

Well like the title suggests there are some incredibly ridiculous requirements in this game to unlock sigils. 1 Lulu's dodge the lightening task is too hard. 2 Tidus chocobo race where you're collecting balloons is brain damaging. 3 Wakka blitz games take far to000OOO long to reach his sigil prize.... These three in particular are so ridiculous....you feel my pain if you tried any of this only to fail over & over again..... Of the three I'd say Wakkas sigil is the most important one....
