  1. Dragonplate armor is heavier and a little more effective than Daedric. However there are light and heavy Dragon Armor sets. Daedric is effective with decent weight and damage/protection, and if you're into heavy Dragon then it's heavier and more effective. I hope that helps.
  2. I like both Dawnguard and Dragonborn. Being able to ride dragons in Dragoborn was neat, and the occasional vampire attacks in Dawnguard was an interesting test to keep everyone alive with the exception of the guards if I couldn't save them. If anyone not a guard dies because of random vampire attacks in cities then I load to latest autosave from when I left a building or entered the city, can be annoying but the good outweighs the bad.
  3. I do believe Skyrim is the most recent and traditional Elder Scrolls game. However, ESO whether or not original intention was to be an elder scrolls game, I just think of it as a game that happens to take place in the Elder Scrolls universe.

Although I'm skeptical about getting the game because of the fee, it might be worth a try. If I decide it's not that good I'll unsubscribe and return the game.

Don't get mad at me if you disagree, I'm just thinking about giving the game a chance despite that it's not a traditional game made by Bethesda. :/

  4. I really enjoy the replay-ability of Skyrim, as well as the many different ways you could play the game.

I really enjoy playing as the Nord or Breton sometimes, although I'm excited for how my Bosmer and Altmer may look once I get started with Elder Scrolls Online. I often combine One-Hand, Archery and Light armor for one character. While Archery, One-Hand and Heavy Armor for another. Both somewhat or more active in alteration and conjuration spells. I always start on Expert or Master, prefer Master difficulty though. Also I try playing Paragon... as if it matters all that much. Haha :)

What kind of play style do you use?

  5. Wow. That's interesting, I managed to show up once where the Blades, Forsworn, and two Dragons were locked fighting each other. Simply watched the fighting until they took an interest in me and ended up cleaning up the mess. Fortunately I was a vampire and they were frost breathers instead of fire. :)
  6. The Thalmor rule the faction known as the Aldmeri Dominion. They are Elite and never refer to themselves as Aldmeri, however it is widely known that they are affiliated with the Dominion because of the Banner they proudly carry. The Thalmor aren't in the Stormcloak / Imperial conflict. Instead they watch and study. They don't care who wins, they've improvised and planned what to do in the event of either side winning. This is a diversion to the Empire. The Empire pours resources into fighting in the conflict as well as keep their borders secure, and the Nord rebellion tries to break Skyrim away from the Empire. Without the funding of the Empire, the Thalmor might as well come unarmed and conjure bound weapons to conquer Skyrim. The Thalmor may be very dictating and cruel, but note that the Thalmor were created in the 3rd Era to combat the Oblivion Crisis; and that humanity has bullied elves since Yesgramor swept through Skyrim and forced the Snow Elves underground in the 1st era where they became the vile Falmer. In the new release of the Elder Scrolls Online, the Thalmor don't exist; it is the 2rd Era, and Queen Ayrenna leads the Aldmeri Dominion against the Empire: against human oppression.

    Hope that helps,

    Happy adventuring!

This is just what i've learned and i might be wrong. Yet to answer your question: The Thalmor aren't with the Imperials. And my personal opinion of the Thalmor: They're extreme, but yet i kind of can't blame them after countless centuries of human oppression.

  7. Are you looking for the signature: "A True Nord Never Backs Down?"

I often try to not involved myself in the war between Stormcloaks and Imperials. However if i were to pick a side i'd flip a coin and decide from there to travel to Solitude or Windhelm.

My question is: Why not have the Akaviri symbol for Dragonborn on the main menu?

  8. When you don't feed you have many bonuses such as increased frost resistance, invisibility, compulsion, and reanimate more powerful zombie.

Yet, however not feeding causes you to has increase fire vulnerability and upon combat you are immediately recognized as a vampire and will hear people yelling "Vampire! Burn it!" or the simple "Die Vampire!"

Feeding may reduce your powers, but makes you less prone to be a yummy snack for Fire Breathing dragons or a charred corpse to Fire Specialized mages.

    Hope that helps,

    happy feeding!

  9. So it happens that she is essential and a very helpful and kick-ass follower. The only thing that irritates me about her is that she raises a lot of undead and i have ash piles all over the place. For me, in your place of a roleplay, I would observe her carefully: her face, body language, speech, eyes. I would go along carefully and keep my self-control. The mysterious woman or Serana, can be turned back into a human, but it has to be at the end of the questline or she'll simply brush it off and decline to think about it. I myself haven't tried to turn her back, but i have the option to do so; i might miss those orange eyes in spite of those pretty green eyes of hers. :)

  10. Caspian Boarder is a great map. In a way it reminds me of some of the woodland maps on Bf:Bc2, that and the entire setup of the map is amazing. Great for sticking C4 on jeeps and jumping out before committing kamikaze on enemy tanks. :D

  11. Me? 350m kill at a 35' angle with the Scoped XBow on Kharg Island. Using the assault kit, I wouldn't have noticed him or her if it weren't for the sun that reflected off their scope.

  12. My favorite setup for Assault Sniper on Bf3 literally has me calling it a spec ops class.

    It requires the DLCs.

M416 Silenced, grip, and Kobra RDS.

    M1911 S-Tac

    Xbow (All Bolt Variations)

Enjoy! I usually play on Hardcore Difficulty.

  13. For myself, I was on Kharg Island (Hardcore) with a couple friends going around the outside of the map to snipe from anywhere between 300m to 500m. I had the XBow with BA bolts, and off from the middle of no where out the i see a flash from a sniper's scope up on top of the tower-like building that seemed to overlook the map and accessible only to people who got lucky bailing out of a jet. Since i was relatively 350m from the target and i was using my assault kit with the XBow, I aimed above the target for what seemed about a full minute, in spite of being at a 35' angle or so, i fired the shot and about 5 seconds later I got the kill. It wasnt a headshot, but i was dumbstruck at my luck of hitting a prone target at that distance without a bullet from my L96. :woot: :pinch:
