I recently started to play Mass Effect again and got the LE since I have a 4K monitor now. Installed the game via Steam, then installed a few mods I've used before with Origin just fine. But now that I try to launch it, Steam starts verifying the files and it's taking forever and then EA says my files are corrupt and I need to re-install the game.
I'm wondering if I need to launch the vanilla game first, make a save and then apply mods to make it work? Or if it's just an EA issue? I use the MEmod manager to apply mods, they're very light and old and should work just fine. Thank you for helping
