Hello all, I've always wanted some armor that would look appropriate on a wasteland veteran. Surely such a person would be laden with gear and the armor itself would have a weathered look. Using bits and bobs from around the community I think I've succeeded: (spoiler for BIG) I've already uploaded it in resource form to Nexus. My understanding is that because the pieces have been attached to the model in nif format/via nifskope that rigging issues have arisen. Most likely this can only be fixed by porting to blender or a similar program, but all my attempts to make these programs work have failed. If someone could help me out I'd be very grateful.

Hello all, I am working on some armor that looks at home in the wasteland. Weathered edges and loaded with stowage. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/images/70378/? I have it in nifskope, but it crashes when I try to get it in-game due to, what I assume, bad rigging (understandable). I don't have the ability to fix that, so can someone help me bring this in-game? Thank you.

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on this. It's some APA that looks like it's worn by a true wasteland veteran. See, I'm fairly GECK savvy, but every time I go to use the mesh in the GECK it crashes the GECK! By stripping some of the accessories I can get it in-game, but the accessories remaining are often in weird positions floating far from the back or body, basically retaining the old xyz coordinates of the original mesh rather than the new attachments and coordinates they have. Or at least I assume that's the issue. But I'd much rather have all the attachments pictured. Can anyone help? Is anyone blender-savvy? My research leads me to believe that if someone takes the meshes and put them together as pictured within blender it would work, although I can't guarantee that. So if anyone would like to try their hand at it let me know. Please PM me.

Hello everyone! So I have a mesh, provided by an author but it was never fully completed. Its dragonbone armor, but made to look lighter. I don't like the look of dragonscale armor, so the idea of some light dragon armor is really appealing. Unfortunately, it doesn't have weight slider support. That's where I need help. Links: Male version: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22439 (I prefer long gauntlet version, but I'll take anything!) Female version: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20354 I can make an .esp, but I can't add weight slider support. Could some kind soul help me? If desired, I can make an .esp for the final product and release it with full credit for whoever helps. I really need help. I love this armor, it's just missing this important piece! The mod author is MIA, which is why I'm here. I have contacted him.

Black fox I have the same issue, people only bleed on the extremities, but blood does show up on my weapons like a machete. My attempts to increase blood stay were successful though. Edit: Blegh, thread Necro and I apologize, but I found the solution, so this might help others. Make sure in Fallout_defaults.ini that bProfileDecals is set to 0, so it is bProfileDecals=0. Once I did this blood began showing on people's bodies again.

Realy annoying game crash

I am having the exact same issue, but in another spot (Boone's personal quest) I also had this issue when helping that Khan guy make chems and the screen fades to black. Seems like Obsidian messed up big-time. -
Just like the title says, every time we try to stay over night at Bitter-Springs the game crashes. The screen fades to black, and then I see it is night, but before I can move around the game crashes. It is really, really frustrating. Also, it seems my faction relations with the NCR never goes above neutral, but this isnt as important as the CTD.

Was it an Ak47? Did you find it? However, I am pretty sure it was an Ak74.

Can someone please make a mod where you can play as a disciple? I don't need new dialogue, quests, or anything like that.

Can anyone help me find an older mod that added an Ak74 to the game? The mod page had screen shots taken in The Pitt, and it was a replacer of the Chinese Assault Rifle. Although, it had the option to not replace anything. I have searched for Ak74 mods, but none are as good looking as I remember this one to be. It also had a unique version of the rifle with a scope.

I can't change my load order anymore. When I move things up and down the list they stay at their number, despite having moved from their previous position. Can anyone help? For example: 8c is my last mod. When I move it above mod 8b, I expect it the two will swap load orders, like they did before. Now, though, 8b does not change to 8c, and 8c doesn't change to 8b. Why!? This is so frustrating!

Quality post right there. Yeah, I'm genuinely dissapointed when I see half naked furry pics in the image sections, or of that Lombax race mod, which is creepy on so many levels (why are they anatomically identical to man?!). That and all the half naked chicks. Well, I don't mind the nekkidness, but I just die a little inside when said semi-naked women end up heavily armed and under-armored. How the hell do you survive in the wastes? I don't know if a majority of the community feels as though they're a woman deep down inside, or if that those do are the most prolific screen takers. Clearly, people play the game for different reasons. I enjoy playing in the Fallout game universe. Some want a game universe of soft-core (furry) porn. And that's ok. I guess.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a weapon mod that adds a pistol that is high powered and/or silenced? And that isn't a revolver? I want to add a silence to the 14mm pistol mod, but every time I try to open the nif file for that gun nifskope crashes, so I need an alternative.

I want to give the American Assault Rifle the magazine from the infiltrator and perforator, and I want this to represent the extended magazine for Weapon Mod Kits. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work. Interestingly enough, I attached the infil mag to the 'eclssc' nif model that comes with WMK, but the infil's mag appears only when the upgrade for EC is taken away in-game! When I use the gun with the upgrade in-game the mag looks weird and a little contorted. I am not sure if I am missing some value that WMK has for its modded weapons, because when I do open the nif file the assault rifle has two magazines, and I assume some hidden property decides when one of them is deleted. In short, I want my infiltrator magazine to be that second available mag, not the Chinese assault rifle mag that WMK normally uses. Please help.

Why, you see, you found new DLC: 2277: A Space Odyssey I also have little to contribute. Most games go boxy on you when you are missing a model for an in in-game item. I have no clue how this would apply to world spaces. -
SpcSpectre usually posts a picture in the image section of progress he has made with the armor. Its been a while. Afaik, he was working on the female version of the armor, which is complicated. I could care less about a female version, but its no lie that a vast majority of people on this forum do.

I'm not really impressed by any realism mod out there. They all change too many things. So I want to make a mod that 1)Makes endurance provide less health per point 2)Removes the increasing health (for you and enemies) as you increase in level 3)Makes some enemies like Overlords and Reavers have less health. Now, I can do 3, because you can edit the creature's stats directly in the GECK. What I can't find in the GECK is where SPECIAL stats like endurance are handled. So, in short, I want to know where in the GECK do I make the changes to accomplish 1 and 2. I think this would make the game more compatible with the mods I added. Instead of editing the values of guns, I am editing the characters' basic stats. Thus, for every new gun I add I don't need to open it in GECK.

The community is hurting for good armor of the non-power variety. The CIRAS vest isn't exactly perfect. That armor clips with everything. It is worse than PA. -
