  1. In response to post #103351793. cuz people were in denial about Andromeda being a decent game. lmao
  2. In response to post #103116553. Game isn't that bad, bugs are the main thing really.
  3. Got this after agreeing to do the first mission with Danse: Any help would be appreciated
  4. Half? Define prominent. Sorry. I know some have left. But it is nowhere near half. Hyperbole will get you nowhere in making your case. Fair enough, I suppose it depends on what you'd define as a prominent mod author. *In my opinion half of the most prominent mod authors have left the site and taken their mods with them.
  5. I'm not fighting a battle, this thread was created because I was curious about the specific price changes. I didn't expect it to be that much of an increase, so I reacted. At least you admit there are a lot of battles to fight Nexus on.
  6. Money. See, that wasn't hard. No idea what margins they are operating on here, but, running this place, with 18 employees, is NOT inexpensive. So, they need to make sure collections will 'always work', to motivate people to buy premium. They change the pricing, so it makes them more money. Expect collections to roll out in the not very distant future. That is what this is all in preparation for. Which is pointless anyway when half of the most prominent mod authors have left the site and taken their mods with them. Which still leaves half. Or more. Several of the major authors are still here. Nexus knew they were going to lose some, and some would stay. It was a gamble, and it appears to be paying off. Lol I'll definitely agree to disagree with you on it paying off

Maybe they're rushing it because they're afraid Modders will bail because of the collections thing , and once NM has that lifetime membership cash they'll be able to cash out and run , and just a reminder .. there are no free users, google built itself via ad revenue and every ad i see i consider a payment . Or just use adblock.

  9. I hope that will be the case. I totally get making more features available for premium users, but taking away privileges from regular users would be absurd. They haven't done that nor have they even mentioned the possibility of doing that. Yes well evidently Nexus does things out of nowhere as we've learned recently.

  11. no doubt at all this will happen. i'm sure they'll find yet more ways to nickel and dime everything given enough time. but they do it for YOUR benefit. Just remember that next time the prices go up for some intangible reason. They do it for your benefit if you're paying money, sure.
  12. Now that would be messed up. That's not messed up. They need to offer benefits to paid users that non-paying users can't take advantage of. Of course it would be messed up. Making things harder for users who don't pay a premium?
  13. That's the thing, how do I know if i'll want it in a year or 2 years from now? Its basically like "might as well buy it now since it's gonna cost more going forward..." Seriously BUY LIFETIME before the Deadline, I've had it since 2008 but that's the thing, I don't think Premium is worth it currently. If more benefits are offered down the road I may change my mind, but then i'm paying hundreds over the course of a few years for it as opposed to the cheaper 60 for a lifetime. I can't imagine anyone paying 70 a year. That's more expensive than most games. I bet a lot of people had trouble even going for the lifetime deal.
  14. I told you what you're missing out on. Hundreds of dollars down the road if you later decide Premium is worth it.
