  1. Bumping to say thank you again. I was able to create this and it didn't take too much time: Working with human models so far is a whole nother challenge considering the TRIs for the head. Putting on armor and such and then posing that turned out to be pretty easy, but then I spent a few hours trying to combine morphs from two TRIs in both Outfit Studio and Blender just so that I could get the customization sliders onto a Breton head, but now I can't get the eyelids to close. Not to mention the eyebrows and left/right side masks. Oh well, I'm making progress regardless so I'll keep trying.
  2. Sweet, thanks. I'm not familiar with using Nifskope in that way, with skeletons and such. Most of my experience with using it is with combining a couple of static meshes together. Even trying to mess with nodes for when I used to make Fallout 4 weapons was a time-consuming headache. But I'll try messing with it later tonight and see what I can do. I don't have 3DS Max though, so I guess I'll skip that second part.
  3. How would I go about making one of those posed models seen in some of the loading screens? Like the dark elf assassin, ork berserker, hagravens, etc. I've seen some mods add their own loadscreen models but the only ones I've been able to make myself were just made by combining preexisting object NIFs. I assume it's not as easy as exporting an NPC from the CK in the middle of an animation Could I do this in Blender or would I need to get Maya/3DS Max? Also, is it like posing a model and then attaching armor pieces/weapons to its bones or more like exporting a model with the armor already equipped and then posing that?
  4. Update, I seem to have fixed it for myself but not through installing or uninstalling any Windows updates. I installed Creation Kit Platform Extended for Skyrim for an unrelated reason (I already had the older SSE Creation Kit Fixes, but CK is still volatile as all hell and I got fed up after experiencing 4 crashes in quick succession dealing with Havok physics) and it actually fixed the flickering on my end. So, for anyone on Windows 11, installing that might work for you as well.
  5. I'll add that for Windows 11 users the equivalent update should be KB5036893. Go to Settings -> Windows Update -> Update history -> Uninstall updates. However, I'm specifically running Windows 11 Home Insider Preview, which is probably why that update doesn't appear at all in my update history (either that, or because I regularly purge old update files to save space - oops!). The only update I can uninstall is KB5037588 which was installed after this issue started. It's a little annoying. I'm wondering if anyone else in a similar boat managed to fix it.
  6. Thanks, I ended up doing something similar. I renamed the autosaved ESP and since it kept the original ESP as a master I merged the changes from the new into the old (with the original name) in xEdit.
  7. So, CK crashed after a couple hours of not saving, and while I was able to rename the last autosave to the ESP to recover my progress, the new ESP now has itself as a master reference. I still have the ESP from the last manual save and was planning to use SSEEdit to merge the "new" autosaved changes onto the "old" ESP but SSEEdit can't load the plugin as it has itself as a reference. How can I remove the mod from being its own master? Or do I have to just bite the bullet and do everything I had lost all over again?
  8. I find the new user profile pretty nice. The only thing I'd really change is moving the About Me section to be next to the main profile picture, above the profile views and kudos stats, though considering it's meant to be with the Activity section keeping it in its own place is probably a good idea. We'll have to see how that looks once people's activities start showing up. I saw people raise the point about every mod card showing their profile picture, and I kinda agree with them but in my case I think the smoking chimp goes pretty hard so it's not a big deal. This might've been posted earlier in the thread (I looked through the last few pages just to make sure I wasn't raising the topic too quickly after someone else, though), but I miss the Games drop-down in the header containing "my games" and not the most popular games. Know what I mean? Granted, the games I use Nexus for the most are Skyrim SE and Fallout 4, but it's still very nice to find, for example, GTA IV mods with just two clicks, and if the redesign is to be rolled out across the entire site I'd like to see the "my games" section stay there in some way. Not to mention the redundancy of having both Skyrim and Skyrim SE; while they are both the most popular game(s?) on Nexus, most people are probably playing one of the two and not both.
  9. I don't particularly care, but I'm not above a little "I got this before they took it away and now you can't have it :^)" posturing, either.
  10. Ha ha! It finally worked, thank you! I had to do some finagling, even with these steps, so for anyone else still experiencing the issue, this is what I did, using the linked Stardew Valley mod: Open link, Nexus automatically logged me in Log out, refresh, log back in on that same Stardew Valley mod page Open avatar settings directly through the link, refresh, Nexus prompted me to log in Log in, end up at avatar settings, upload avatar ??? Profit!
  11. Perhaps the Modding Tools section of Nexus? https://www.nexusmods.com/site
  12. This hasn't worked for me sadly. Even after deleting cookies, I still get the same errors. I did do some more digging around in the browser console, though, and it's giving me a 401 response because of a token refresh error ("An error occurred when attempting to retrieve a token. Please re-authenticate."); this seems like it should've been fixed by doing the steps you just gave, but nope! Chuck Testa.
  13. I've been having the same problem no matter what browser I use. The only browsers on my computer are Edge Canary and regular Edge, though on my phone I've tried Edge, Samsung Internet, and Chrome, in and out of incognito mode, with all of those giving the same errors described earlier in the thread. I guess I'm stuck being Myspace Tom. For what it's worth, this is what my console gives out when the errors show:
  14. The Creation Kit is definitely viable for community mod creation; if you wanted, you could do this by editing each NPC in only the CK if you're ok with a vanilla Skyrim look. Never used Racemenu so I don't have anything to say about that (ngl, had it confused with the showracemenu command at first). The CK can be finicky however so Creation Kit Fixes is worth getting. I don't know if you want tutorials specifically on NPC overhauls, but the Creation Kit wiki, or the UESP fork, are really valuable resources nonetheless. You might've already come across the Nexus wiki too but there are a lot of tutorials there pertaining to NPCs which may help.
  15. I'm trying to create a custom collision layer to add to a triggerbox. The thing is, after I've created the collision layer, the player collision is messed up and during playtesting I keep clipping through doors and statics, but not terrain statics like cliffs, the base ground layer, or NPCs. This happens no matter what other collision layers are set to collide with my custom one. Is there a way to fix this besides, like, deleting the new one? Thanks.
