I landed on this site a few days ago. I couldn't find any other place to ask this... how the heck do I learn game modding? There are literally ZERO tutorials anywhere on the Internet everywhere i've searched... nothing, rien, nein, nada.
What I plan to do is actually quite simple at first: learn how to modify some dialog boxes in The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. The only tutorial I found spoke for about a few minutes about hexadecimals, then never followed up with another episode.
I also plan to tamper with Breath of the Wild. There are so many accessible mods for this game! Why isn't there a valid tutorial?
I also have an early idea of a large scale project in mind for Twilight Princess. I would really love to know how some of you guys got around modding and learning it.
Also I am not very learned in programming languages. Please go easy if you get too technical.
