Thank you so much for your help
-
Worked for me, thank you

I would like to add this is not just a picture change issue. * I cannot remove the picture * not all pics are loading (see pic above) * after cleaning browser I am having to repeatedly sign in everywhere so I know it was fully cleaned. * my adblocker is completely disabled for Nexus ( I use ublock origin) As a premium member I do not even use an adblocker here. * I just now even changed password as suggested by google as a way to troubleshoot error 401 and that did not help either.

On Chrome after following the same steps I get the same errors as before. and some new errors when trying to access the forum.
-
First I followed your steps on Brave browser, and get this error after logging back in. It immediately asks me to log back in and when I do the button to switch the picture is not even responsive.
-
They are in the process of switching the whole forum around and have been very busy working on this for over a week. I am sure our picture issues are last on the list of many things to work out. I will be fixed soon I am sure :)

I really do not know what I am doing, I only hope this is what you needed. Just trying to be helpful.

Mannygt, I have been here just a short time.. you are one of the very best most helpful modders I have dealt with on the nexus, you have always been more then helpful anytime I have had a question, But I can not say this for all. I have asked genuine questions to others only to be snubbed, I have left over 297 endorsements and about 70 comments.. until this Issue I have never posted on the forum so I know all of my comments were feedback related. Just last week I had downloaded a mod I was having issues with, the author of said mod was on the forum answering question, but he just snubbed me over, would not help me and I really was genuinely stuck.. I do read everything about a mod before I install. luckily for me I was able to figure it out alone, but my point is not everyone is like you.. not everyone is helpful and some are downright rude! I also have another questions about endorsements, I downloaded a very cute and unique mod that was put up recently, the author had received many positive comments and 12 endorsements by the time I had seen the mod. I downloaded it and ran the course of getting it situated in my mod list.. start the game and searched over an hour trying to locate the boat, BUT i could find no boat, I spent another hour reorganizing my modlist trying to make it work because after all.. 12 other people had made it work.. it must have been on my end and I was afraid yet again to ask the author a stupid question. Finally out of frustration, I did approach him or her.. and you know what? they had made a small mistake, being new and never loading a mod here before, they had accisently loaded the wrong file, I was very happy to have assisted him in getting it all right. and now I have my boat :) but my point is that it had 12 endorsements from people who had not even bothered to load the mod. I just wonder with how this current system is implemented, how long it even could have took him to realize the error :s anyways, thank you so much for always being helpful.. but not all are like you -

"if the governments of the world cant keep the internet free of piracy, torrents and child pornography what do u think u, the ppl at nexus and steam can do to stop trolls?" I dunno, actually mod the site and start banning trolls? -

I have.. and their job is not fun, not to mention everyone always looks at the moderators and not at the people actually giving the orders. If Admistration says to ban, you ban.. that simple Question though, what has been Forced upon them?

I know when this first happened a lot of modders came forward and stated that their mods would remain free etc.. I am wondering at this point after days of listening to all of this ranting and such, how many still feel the same? after all the very ideal that somehow any of you who are complaining against paying for mods are somehow entitled to people who make said "Mods" should just magically not have any sort of life or income.. they should just slave away for your amusement, Are you even hearing yourselves?? Isn't it like a slap in the face to them? Your Peers? and that is a question ~ Some may think oh go shut up it is not like you have ever contributed, and in a sense you would be right, I have not physically contributed to modding, But I gave birth to a modder.. lol I remember watching my son 16 at the time maybe even a little younger.. slaving away long hours trying to make every single mesh of the vanilla clothing of Oblivion fit with the HGEC body.. which later became a part of a project known as EVE. He took over my computer >_< and this did not last for hours.. this lasted for MONTHS! He did not do this for the love of money etc.. he did it because he just loved that game that much, but I would never ever say after watching all the work he put into that and several other mods he never released.. "Oh you don't deserve recognition or even a little spending money if that is what you wish, because I know how hard he poured his heart into that, And what he did does not even touch some of todays Mods! I can't even imagine the work some of these people have put into their mods. But I do know their hearts.. because I have seen it before.. I know many of you have strong beliefs and Ideals and very valid points even.. but some of what your saying in the heat of the moment and in anger, are tearing apart the very people who were good enough to bring to you the mods you love.. This site, the Administration of this site.. The modders.. the people.. are not your targets, it is the Gaming industry ( Steam, Bethesda..) is where you should be directing your anger. Anyways I felt I needed to get that off my chest.. cus I really do feel bad for the modding community right now, You are judging them, ridiculing them, harrassing them, and I honestly do not even think you know what you do.. Your just too pissed off.. and really need to go calm down before you continue to attack at your PEERS. I for one will be supporting all my favorite mods, I want to give them a reason to stay here as apposed to going to steam and taking such a horrific 25 percent cut for work they deserve a 100 percent from.

" And frankly, I think you are insulting the mod authors who have decided to remain free by saying free modding is over. If you believe strongly in this, stick by them, show them your support, endorse their files if you like them, donate to them. That's what this community needs, not a swirling cesspit of vitriolic hatred. " end quote~ Exactly!! This is what I have actually been putting my efforts twords all night, and will continue to do so, without the mods.. skyrim would be frankly boring at this point. I have invested 707 hours into this game not counting the hours I poured into my PS3.. This whole ordeal the last few days has really had me rethinking somethings, It is so easy to get caught up in this whole thing and b&@*$.. but in reality before today I had never once even considered hitting that donation button. Not that I was objected to it, I just never really thought about it untill this happened. And there are so many people who really deserve that support from us, I for one will not be Buying steam mods, but instead will be supporting those same people here as I can, where I know they will be getting every cent I give to them. I want to thank you all so much for giving me so many hours of great gameplay and a great community.
