I planned on making such a mod as well but hesitate as it would require scripting (at least, I believe so). Not that I can't script it, I just don't like using script very much. Perhaps, I will try tomorrow.

I'd like to ask anyone with even minor modding capabilities to make Ice Spikes and Icy Spears (those are spells :D) do physical damage, mostly because a lot of creatures resist (or are even immune to frost) and it just doesn't really make sense when they get pierced by a huge spike made of ice and take no damage whatsoever!
I mean, even though it is magical, it would only make sense if it dealt physical damage like arrows and such.
If anyone can do this for me, i'll appreciate it greatly :)

Voice Actor wanted!
As we near closer to release, I'm looking for a voice actor willing to do some quick lines for the trailer as the mod's antagonist Breton Necromancer, before the 14th August. This would likely be a cross between Harkon's dialogue from the Dawnguard trailer, and something more traditionally sinister English-Breton sounding. If you're interested please get in touch by PM with a sample and I'll send you the details.

Update:
You'll be able to decide how your Lich form ultimately looks at the end of your transformation ritual by the way you complete the quests and the components you obtain! Make sure you pay close attention to the items you're acquiring and their significance.
As a technical downside to this: When you're transforming your chest piece will be removed and though I've searched and searched, I've found no function to reequip it (for some stupid reason Bethesda didn't include a GetEquippedItem function). As a consequence, after each transformation you'll be left wearing just rags. If anyone with the knowledge is able to help out regarding this, excellent. Otherwise, this is probably the best solution for the current version.
So like with the Werewolf? When you transform, you're naked?
I think there's a mod that makes it so you reequip the items after transforming back to human. You could ask its author how he done it.

A quick heads up guys:
After a hard fought week of fighting with the Creation Kit (an entire worldspace managed to delete itself, but I thwarted it with a backup) and puzzling through various lengthy tutorials, the questline is now completed and implemented. The hardest part is out of the way, however I'd like to delay the release by another week. This is partly because I need to go on holiday for a week, but also because I'd like to ensure the first version is the highest quality it can be, and that I attempt to tidy some things up and package it before I release it.
As a consolation however, I'm working on a trailer to show off some stuff and will probably release this before the mod itself to build some hype.
Apologies for the delay, but fret not! Unlimited power will soon be yours with patience!

Would it be possible for you to make it so you do not have to be an evil character to become a lich? I play as a good vampire. I do not like playing as an evil character. I know this might sound silly. Thank you.
I can see where you're coming with this, because i often play like these "chaotic good/ outcast" characters. Don't judge the book by the cover and everything. Even when i try to play an "evil character" I end up doing good things anyway.
Well, from what i've hear lorewise, TES Liches are similar to D&D Liches, and if my memory serves me right, the Lich retains his alignment from before he becomes a lich. However it's supposed to be hard to retain a good alignment, because the Lichdom ritual is supposed to require very evil things or at least morally despicable, but i guess if you need a human heart or something for the potion, it wouldn't be very evil to get the heart from some maniacal murdering bandit, maybe morally ambiguous, but not evil per se.
I'm very interested, how the OP will handle this in his mod.

Ritual looks badass.
But after converting into Lich, how do we talk to normal people? Wont they be scared of walking nightmare, hovering in front?

- Obviously as a Lich, you will be attacked on sight. While in Lich form, you will be able to revert back to your 'living' form using powerful illusion magic, however there will be a lengthy cooldown between charges before you can transform back, so use this wisely.
This is probably the best way to go, in my opinion. Some sort of illusion spell to mask your true form from the pathetic, mortal meatbags

aaawww that sounds awsome i really can't wait to play this mod i was very sad when the other mod "true Lichdom" i think it was called was discontinued and not made i hope you are making good progress still i can't wait :smile:

God, i wanted to punch a wall, when I got the news that it was cancelled. Good thing i didn't punch the wall cause that would've hurt though ;D

Didn't have anything to do, so i did some sort of pixel art of a lich, missing a lower jaw, cause i found that extremely amusing in Morrowind, only a single lich had his lower jaw, what did he do? Punch every other lich's jaws off? ;D

IF anyone can make this, i'd be so grateful. I always love having a cute little SHIV in my squad.
I loved the coloration of the basic SHIV, it being military green color, which is awesome. But the Alloy SHIV that was shiny silver and now is dull blue colored that really doesn't match my Military Green/Black soldiers.
Though, honestly, i can't imagine how would that be possible to do. But im no modder, so i don't know s#*!
