Hello forum goers. I have been quite enjoying this game so far, although i sadly still find magic to be rather weak. And so, i've been wanting to re-roll, and about that i have a few questions. I really like the idea of a sneak system and i'm just wondering, does a rogue type actually work in this game? I figure it must because it's in the game but it's a bit dodgy imo since most enemies seem to instantly know where you are, at least in the quests. Also, is stealth in this like it is in other games where you have to take a character who specialises in single target damage, meaning that after you kill one guy you need to run away and hide waiting for the alert to go down before you kill someone else, thus meaning it takes half an hour to clean a room that a sword and board type could run into and annihilate in seconds. If this is a viable class, what race and class should i have to make it work best? Oh and what are Argonians supposed to be good at, i mean they are immune to poison, resistant to disease and can breath underwater but what skills do the excel at? The character creation doesn't really tell me. Thanks in advance :)

It's not unplayably difficult, but i'm just very squishy and i have next to no burst despite being a caster. I feel like i need to kite every single enemy and if there is more than one of them or they have a ranged attack then i'm in a lot of trouble.

hey thanks, i've actually only just stopped playing, mostly because this game is significantly harder when you don't start with all your skills maxxed out and with the best gear there is :/ I'm actually struggling quite a bit since i'm playing a caster and my only "nuke" type spells are currently about as effective as my punches making this whole thing incredibly difficult.

What are some mods that will enhance my experience of this game significantly. I ask because i actually want to play through this game properly now, since all i've ever done in the past is mess around with cheats etc. I'm not really wanting to play through vanilla since i know from Fallout how much better the modding community tend to make Bethsoft games, and i don't know if i'll really be playing through multiple times. i can has DL links to some mods that are either cosmetics, bugfixes or just generally cool stuff to make the game better. :) Thanks.

Don't go insulting me for wanting console. I've completed the game a million times and just wanna have some fun. I reformatted recently and reinstalled fallout now no keys open console. It doesn't appear, it's not just off screen. I have no infrared devices installed ( I've been through the drivers list) Is there anything like the ring of console which existed for ESIV or another way to fix this? Thanks in advance

I have being playing with FOOK for a while, i got the game on steam (yeah i know im a retard) and the FOMM which i have always used to play it overrides steam client. I just downloaded Operation anchorage (i never thought to reinstall it since it kinda sucks) and well i tried to launch FOMM and i got some weird option and click yes (because f*** you) and it came up with an error (which i clicked past) and now i cant play through steam or FOMM or just runnign the installer i dont wont to reinstall since i dont have the effing time. can anyone help me i know i seem like an turkey for not remembering this s*** but whatever Sorry and please help meh!

This is annoying, i had one game then me and a friend made a second and after the second guy left the vault something happened to make it save every game as .fos.tmp anyone got an idea why this is happening. its not hard to take the .tmp off of the end but it is a bit annoying.

Guys, cant you remember the bit when you find out that it wasn't always closed and that people used to come and go as they pleased... I think it was like Moriarty said and there was something to do with brainwashing.
