    Crash issue in Megaton

    1st remove all the junk you have in your data folder, the stuff that isn't being used. Examples are plug in's you don't use or the backup's created by FO3 edit, read me's anything that is basicly trash. Delete it.

     

    2nd start a new game an duplicate the problem.

     

    3rd After you are tired of this load order, you should start over an build another. There is a large amount of junk and/or crap in the load order. Break it down into the core of what it is you want. Here that would be DUI, MMM, Tailor made, Dree perks, an iron sights. I'm afraid the rest is basicly junk, hence how your game was ruined. Build the core up first, test that, then add other mods to that slowly. Build something stable first, then add junky crap to it to basicly ruin that.

     

    its all sorted now, the facepuncher was causing some NPC issues o_O weird i know but some F3Editing and its all sorted now :) thanks for the help :)

    seems to crash everytime, in load, in enter, before talking to Moriarty, after talking to him, etc etc D: doest matter if i download last save, zero conflicts in F3Edit so i dont know what is causing it , here is the load order if anyone could help id really appreciate it :)

    If you are in one of the new DLC areas then yes, it could simply be the change of timescale.

    Reverting to the default timescale has been reported to remedy the crashes.

     

    Fingers crossed that's it in your case too.

     

    well it did crash at Honest Hearts too but in this case, it does it even at Mojave :/

    Well the good thing is that it's consistent.

    You could load the game with some mods disabled and track down an offending mod that way.

     

    Have you altered the default timescale at all?

     

    yes, i have, but could it really be about that...? and ive already tried with or without any mods, still crashes, also re-istalling a couple of times etc etc

    So it crashes when you go into the waiting menu, it's probably something to do with the DarnUI, you might want to check to see if a mod conflicts with it or if the guy released a fix. You might wanna ask him (or her).

     

     

    it actually crashes after im done waiting or sleeping :/ its like 2 secs after the menu vanishes, then POOF *CTD* :(
