... No, I didn't know it was there, I just followed the sets of instructions I'd seen. I removed it now, though the mod I was having texture issues with already released an updated version that worked without it. Guess I'll... not know if it works since it will be working already!

Hm. I've tried both getting the manual version off of the FO3 nexus and copying my invalidation bsa from my FO3 folder, and I've changed the line as directed in FalloutPrefs.ini... no go. Custom textures still aren't working.
