Hello! I'm fairly new to the modding scene but have been enjoying it so far! I very recently got Skyrim for my PC and went to town with mods. I haven't had any problems ever since I started using TES5Edit to clear everything, up until recently. Earlier today I was doing the Companion questline, just returning from retrieving the stolen fragments of Wuuthrad, and I noticed my Skyrim kept crashing to the desktop as I entered Whiterun Hold. I've been trying to work around it by entering from other directions, as well as fast-travelling into the city. I got it to work once, but as soon as I entered a building I wasn't able to exit because it crashed on the load screen. Last time I exited Whiterun, everything was running smootly, and I have, since then, not messed with any of the mods. I've cleared everything with TES5Edit with no errors, and I first assumed a mod was messing with the LOD models or mipmaps of Whiterun or something, but since it seems to work when it wants to I'm stumped. It's also not a performance issue, as my machine is running well with Skyrim. My question as a beginner is if anyone else has had this happen, and what kind of mod could be causing it? I can provide a list of all mods I have that would affect Whiterun in any way shape or form. Any help would be appreciated!
