This vault will be in use by Tony the Wookie in his modification "Dynamic and Growing City"
Tony the Wookie and Q, if there needs to be ANY alteratiosn let me know.
This vault is only needed so you can retrieve the purifier, but why make it easy
This Thread is intended for feadback by the Nexus Community. I would love suggestions so please leave them!
The Layout
There will be 3 levels of this particular vault. This Vaults protocol was to experiment with a completely different modified FEV strain.
The First Level:
The Vault Door, the second most gaurded area.
The Overseerers Room, Only the Overseerer and his/her family had access, via retinal scan.
The Barracks, the place where the Overseerers dogs rested.
The Armory, the Gaurd had access via finger print scan.
The Survaliance Room, This room see's all and knows all. Every room has a camera.
The Second Level:
General Housing Units, residence will sleep here. Doesn't have cameras.
Classroom, what else other than learning!
Wash/Restrooms, a combonation bathroom and shower area. Doesn't have cameras.
Caffeteria, this is where all residence will have their meals.
Recreation Room, this is where citizens spend most of their time.
Medical Bay, a place to go for bumps, scrapes and heart surgery.
The Third Level: The most gaurded area.
Holding Rooms, a place where the subjects are held and minor tests are conducted.
Experimentation rooms, high security access is required. "Big" experiments are conducted here.
Medical Supply Rooms, medical storage.
Waste Room, all used medical supplies is recycled.
Mechanical Room, restricted access. Holds the water purifier and other mechanical devices.
The Background
This Vault, Vault 141, was one of many vault's designed for experimentation just like Vault 87; however, this vault recieved a completely different strain of FEV.
The strain was called the Vault Tech Forced Evolutioanry Virus 13 (VT FEV 13 for short). This strain intended purpose was to create a radiation immunity within the cells of the human body. Physical mutation wasn't a pure biproduct of this strain.
The residence of Vault 141 were informed about what was happening in the vault. Twenty-five scientists and fifty citizens were assianged here. The first two levels of the vault seemed to always happy, especially in the rec room! The scientists on the third floor were always working. Each experiment was an utter failure and test subjects were executed.
Finally, 3 months before the player leaves Vault 101, the scientists of Vault 141 had a sucessful run! A little girl had lived through the injection. After 24 hours no mutations were happening. The little girl was a human. Weeks went by and tests conducted, the girl wasn't phased by any of it. After confirming they have finally "created" the perfect human for a fallout ridden world they rejoiced and threw a huge party. With their directive met the scientists began to re-create the exact strain given to the girl for mass release; howerver, a grusome event occured.
Raiders blew open the vault and killed or enslaved the citizens of Vault 141. The third level was condemed by the raiders after clearing out the vault. Nobody was allowed down there due to the relase of the FEV virus. What the Raiders didn't know was this strain wasn't contagious through the air it MUST be injected.
None of the residence has seen the little girl since.

No problem,
Make sure your using the beta version of FOSE! If your just using the "stable" verision you will have no luck with most mods. Also like the above poseter stated, launch Fallout 3 via FOMM by clicking on Launch FOSE.
Fose doesn't call the registry, it calls for Fallout3.exe

I created another thread for the vault. I do not want to hijack Tony's Thread.
Thanks!
-
Yea I recieved the e-mail great rooms!
Okay Q, I'll send you what it looks like after I'm done.
Creating vault levels won't be hard when I'm just focusing on building it.
The basement I was going crazy (I may scrap what I have and make a new one) because I wasn't focusing on what to do first. Mind was going crazy as to the possibiliies. ha!

I believe some of the stors seem a wee bit small. Is that part of the design?
Most general stores I see are bigger than what is shown here
Alright Tony, Quetzecotle still hasn't contacted me and I have no clue how he wants the Vault designed. If I don't have anything in the next 10 hours (i get off work) then I'm going to just start building what I want.
-
Yea right now I'm not messing with anything but building the area's but It's hard to without knowing what is wanted unless I'm going just doing what I want.
-
He's going to be Dr. Zeon (Zeonic Glory) - performs experements

I'm study all the "no character control" scripts and the tranquility lane and anchorage and how they implement you taking control over another character and all that sort.
Whenever you enter the vault it will trigger the flashback and you are instantly the little girl after the blinding light. That is kind of what I feel will happen. Right now I'm just trying to design all the vaults and optimize it.
Right now the basement level is complete, but with no NPC's for now as I don't have the faction that Tony wants down there.

I see.
There is another modder on here that was trying to create a weapon to disable (make it disappear) whatever he shot at it.
Your gun sounds like it will work on the same basis except it would attempt to unlock said target. I would suggest trying the forum search for it but it shouldn't be to old maybe 6 pages back at the most.
Hope this helps !

You need to install Fose in C:\Whatever directory\Whatever directory\Fallout 3
Thats it. That is where Fallout3.exe will be located.
I hope you are using FOMM which is installed in the same directory as FOSE was.
FOMM will automatically detect what mods you have.
You have an instalation problem that needs to be fixed. I'd suggest uninstalling FOMM and FOSE and reinstall them to the correct paths.
Reported your post so the Moderator will be aware that this is in the wrong forum

Tony don't be so down! You're helping out those who cannot read well!

You'll need to go into the geck and look for the plasma projectile itself and I believe it's as easy as increasing hit radius or "splash damage" type of thing
I am not looking at the GECK this is pure speculation; however, this deals with the projectile not the weapon. So fire up GECK and see what options are avaliable for the plasama ammo.
-
Why not just console hack it instead? The amount of time it would take to switch to that weapon fire it at the door and wait for the scripts to actually activate compaired to hitting the '~' typing in unlock and clicking on said door" is negligable.

Basement level is complete. No pics for you guys :P
I have an idea and I'm going to bounce it off you guys.
-As soon as you load up the basement level, you'll be in a room.
-You'll lose control of your character and gas will start filling up your screen.
-You will fall down and just before your eye's shut you see a man in a gas mask kneel down and say just one word "Perfect."
-You'll wake up in one of the small rooms (still no character control) the screen will pan over tot he window where the mysterious man is about to hit a button
-For no reason you see him flee (you gain control of your character) and you hear him explode.
-(if i can get this implimented) you'll see a flash of the girl that was held there.
-The door will then unlock and you are able to continue on.

The great equalizer between rich and poor people.
A poor man walks up toa vending machine and inserts a dollar, it spits it bakc out. He tries again and it takes it.
A rich man walks up to a vending machine and inserts a dollar, if he even has one, it spits it back out. He tries again and it spits it back out.
That is one of the many great equalizer.
Guns are the Great Equalizer between the strong and the weak.

This mod is insanely awesome.
I just can't use it for one reason. Its quiet... I hate quiet places like that.
I had all my companions stay in the bunker just to liven up the place.
Suggestion: Have NPC's in the Bunker to liven it up.
-You just discovered the Citadel after escorting Doctor Li and the others. You notify them of the bunker that you have discovered in your residence or what have you. The brotherhood dispatch 2 scribes and 3 knights/paladins or what you want.
That would at least liven up the place and not look like you are an anti-social wanderer.

I chose neither because I could careless for each one.
I drink diet because my parents always drank it so I naturally pick it out at stores. Although I didn't know anything about the whole artificial sweetener controversy
Pop is more so a northern saying.
In Texas all I hear is coke or dr.pepper/pibb. lol

Number of man-hours spent on global warming research at this point: Millions
Are you really qualified to say anything at all about this issue? NO.
Actually, you know what? This goes for all of you, both pro and con.
This is very true. None of us have authority over anything that deals with climate control. The men and women that are specialized in that area are still working on a way to either prove or disprove Global Warming.
Nobody here can prove it exists or doesn't exist until we hear a phenomenal announcement from the people that have proven/disproven it.

Off Topic:
Back in the old days before North America was found by Columbus being fat was a sign of wealth as one of the posters stated before hand.
More prevalent in England when most kings and queens were on the heavy side due to the access of food was high.
In modern days you can find food around the corner for the Industrialized nations. That turned the opinion of fat being a sign of wealth to a sign of no self control.
On Topic:
Anorexia is a mental illness, they do not just stick their finger down their throat all willy nilly. Th brain is a powerhouse that's hard to rewire after the age of 25. Women below the age of 25 will have a higher chance of overcoming it and returning to "normal" as the brain hasn't cemented its routes. Those that are over the age of 25 can STILL beat it but more determination is required. This ALL depends on how bad the mental state is as well
