  1. That is correct, the alpha map defines transparency in the texture. black being 100% transparent, white solid. In the normal map the alpha layer is the reflections/specular shinyness. white beeing 100%shiny and black no light reflections. This should help: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Choose_the_right_DXTC_compression_algorithm
  2. Hi folks, So i have been enjoying myself in skyrim, but one thing always looked bad, when you get very close to a house to enter it, the doors get very blurry. Well i decided, hey lets do new doors. I have only done one so far to test things out and its not even finished. As always i try to get the same feel as the original door, same color lightness etc so it blends in well with the rest of the textures and world. Pics of the Wip, click for big: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/spamheinz/th_noosetodoor.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/spamheinz/th_completedoor.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/spamheinz/th_closetodoor.jpg What do you think, should i do these and continue or is there no need.
