I recently installed the 5th anniversary edition on my computer. It generally runs just fine. Here are my computer's specs: AMD 7750 dual core 2.7 ghz 4gb ram ATI Radeon 4650 1gb Windows 7 Ultimate My only problem is when I open the stats/inventory/spells/quests menu. My character shows brightly (possibly because of a ring I'm wearing that has light), and the frame rate goes way down. If I go into the alchemy interface, it speeds back up. If I get out of that menu, it also speeds back up. This is kind of a minor thing, but it is somewhat obnoxious. Any ideas on how to fix it? A couple of other things I want to note: no other installation of Oblivion has ever been on this computer, and there are no mods whatsoever.

I was trying to give her rings, and by default she has none equipped. I even tried taking away everything else in her inventory (she doesn't have much).

I would have thought opening up her inventory would let me do it (or maybe it does and I just missed it), but after I give her an item, I have no idea how to equip it. If I click it again, it just goes back to my inventory. I'm sure I just don't know what to do and there's no mod error here. Any thoughts?
