  1. In response to post #24746459. #24746534 is also a reply to the same post. Because it's illegal. You can't charge for game content for a game that you didn't create. Until paid modding came about, that is. Now that they've removed it, I imagine it's back to the old system.
  2. I've loved this mod since it first surfaced and I would really like to see it get somewhere. I've searched around and I've looked at the official Website for the mod, but I'm still very confused as to which version of the mod is the furthest along in development, what with so many version being out there, some of them different from official releases and what not. I'm confused about a lot of stuff, but mostly about one thing: How goes the modding? :D
  3. Hey there! I've been trying and trying to find a good set of Armor for my MALE NORD WARRIOR character, and no matter how much I search, I cannot for the life of me find one that suits my character. While I am aware of tons and tons of really Great Armor sets for Males, the few sets that I have found that would Suit my Character have all been Female Only. What I'm searching for is someone who could basically recreate Skyrim's 'Steel Plate Armor' in Oblivion, and if possible, the Orcish Armor from Skyrim as well. I understand creating those and making them look good might be difficult, but Skyrim provided my Character with the PERFECT set of Armor. The Steel Plate Set and The Orcish Set were really, really awesome and fit my RP Character like a gauntlet. If you pardon the pun. It is possible that someone is already working on this, as I find it hard to believe that I am the only person with an interest in seeing Skyrim Armor in Oblivion, but if so, I have not been made aware of this. Please, do not heckle me and tell me to search the site before asking for a mod, because believe me: I have Searched.. And Searched...And Searched...And Searched... To no Avail. I have little understanding of the process of creating new Meshes for Oblivion, but I have a basic understanding of the Construction Set, so I can only assume that making these armors look good could take a long time, and be difficult to pull off, but I don't mind waiting, just as long as I know it's in the works. If you are aware of a mod Like this being made, or are interested in creating it, please, do let us know. I have attached a picture of Both sets for your convenience, just in case you are unclear on which sets I am talking about. - Thor, AKA ObliviousMan.
  4. I wanted to know if there was a command that could change the model for my character to that of someone or something else? If so, I can has? If not, is there maybe one for "Possessing" Other NPCs?
  5. Aha, but Divinity 2 was rubbish compared to Skyrim. Divinity 2 was a wonderful game in my opinion, and it was very, very fun to play (Hard as a bad girl's dream, but fun), but the Dragon's in Divinity 2 were nowhere near as awesome as the Dragons in Skyrim, and weren't nearly as fun to play as they would be in Skyrim. Besides, you couldn't be a Dragon in cities in that game either because of something called 'Anti-Dragon Zones'. The concept of an Anti-dragon zone is a blatant and lazy excuse for not being able to be a dragon in cities, and it had no place in the Game's Setting or Storyline. It was much more Immersion-breaking than emptiness outside cities would be in Skyrim. The solution is to just not let the player shape-shift inside cities.
  6. This is something that I have wanted to happen ever since I saw the first dragon. It just looked so amazingly cool! I would love to be able to play as a Dragon. The only place I disagree with your vision of this idea is the duration bit. I would very much like for this to be something I can Toggle on and off. I was very disappointed when the Werewolf form was a power that you used and you had to wait for it to run out before you could be human again. I would very much like to have been able to press the shout button again and transform back into a human. I don't like the idea of something so awesome being on a timer. If other people would like for it to be timed, then maybe have two different files available for download for the eventual finished product?
  7. Hey there! So my Idea for a Mod is pretty simple. I chose this idea instead of my other big wish for Skyim (Which was to be able to play as a Dragon because that's freaking awesome) because the alternative was a little ridiculous and far too difficult for anyone to make into a mod, even WITH the construction set. WARNING: The Mod Idea contains some semi-minor spoilers for the main questline. Sovngarde. Since the day I found out that Dovahkin would be visiting Sovngarde at some point during the main quest, I was ecstatic. I had pondered how that was going to happen. I had hoped that the game would let me know that I had to visit Sovngarde and then pitted me up against a Legion of Dragons or some sort of thing that would tear me to shreds, killing me and sending me to Sovngarde. I wanted to actually die in the game and go to Sovngarde the old fashioned way. Then later find a way to return to the realm of the living! You can imagine my disappointment when I was told that I would be entering Sovngarde through some never-before-mentioned-the-possibility-of Stargate that would plop me down in the afterlife! I didn't feel like the game was treating Sovngarde like the place where the Souls of Valiant Warriors go when they pass from one life to the next. I felt the game was simply treating it like a different dimension, or some sort of thing where it was possible to be alive. I always imagined Sovngarde as an ethereal realm looking much like it did in the game, where the living could not tread. Therefore, I wish for a mod to be created (Once Construction set is out) that would change the fact that the game automatically loads the last save game when you die and instead teleports you to the Sovngarde Cell with no way out. That way, you can be immersed enough to enjoy a meal with your fellow fallen heroes and then load your last same game manually when you're done. It seems simple enough, and the NPC's don't even have to say anything as they all have their default responses that are fine to use (Albeit slightly rude), but that doesn't even need to be where it ends. You could add quests! Nothing too big, just a questline or two and maybe a repeatable quest where the afterlife in Sovngarde plays out like the Afterlife in Valhalla, the realm Sovngarde is modelled after? In Valhalla, the Souls of the Fallen would enjoy their morning, drinking and eating and drinking some more, then they would spend the day fighting each other, and beating the living ba-jeezus out of each other. Then they would drink, eat and drink more and then go to sleep. The repeatable quest would simply be the fighting part. Have the quest giver tell the PC to go into the field just outside the Hall of Valor where the other heroes were gathering and then when the PC get's there it just turns into a giant free-for-all where everyone beats the living crap out of everyone! I'd really like to see this mod come to life, it would be so awesome to be able to do this, and in fact, just the going to Sovngarde part would be more than enough. The rest would just make it so much more awesome! :D
