    I will read the story if I'm not as tired as now.

    If you really try to test, your story to a film company to sell, I wish you much success.

    A good tactic in finding out your enemy is to see who takes advantage of you when you do make yourself out as the fool. ;)

    Later is better than never. Welcome to the forums LadyMidnight. I see you already know most of the guys/girls around here(that I know to) and on behafl of all my friends that haven't welcomed you here yet a big "WELCOME!!"

    Don't rush it. You'll know the right person when you meet them. Not a good idea to try and start a relationship with someone that you weren't meant to be with.
    Wait, my nose honks? Or is that the profanity filter bleeping something out? XD
    Sorry, double post, accidentally hit new instead of edit.

     

    Our experiences shape our inner being. Personality is a result of one's past, and the hells you've experienced.

     

    And to clarify why I'm so friendly to people, having your three best friends die all in the same year just kind of makes you appreciate people more than you did beforehand. Especially when none of them were older than the age of 17. Not looking for sympathy, I felt like explaining part of who I am and why I'm that way.

    The story begins to write itself! No no, I'm not being possessed by some other spirit, it's just that the story takes directions that I had no idea it would take. And the next thing I know, I'm looking at several pages full of words. Words I know I wrote, because this is very hard work for me, and hours go by, in this process, as I said before, I am not experienced at this. It's just that when I start, I think the story is going in one direction, and before I know it, it's taken off in a new direction all by itself!

    Can anybody help me? I don't want to stop writing, but I will mark my words.

    I have read some of your poems, you are really talented.

    You think and write very much about love, lust and passion. Topics with which I am in the moment does not

    wish to employ. But this has to do with my last boyfriend.

    I write about many things because I have many things to think about it. But there are also no real poems, about

    me missing your talent, it is more a kind of diary, filled with my thoughts.

    The Storm Raven Returns.

     

    I am the Storm Raven

    I have flown many years, and faced many tests.

    I fly many places, but this is my nest.

     

    I've been gone many months now, flown through fire, and pain.

    I return to my home now, for a while, I'll remain.

    I fear in my absence, I have lost a few friends.

    But I am home now, hope I'll find them again.

     

    New friends are welcome, just ask and you'll see.

    The old man is friendly, though he lives in a tree.

    It's not very far, you can see it from here.

    So stop by and see me, there's no reason for fear.

     

    I have wondrous stories, from my travels afar.

    Of storms and bright lightning, and peaceful blue skies.

    High over seashores, and blue Mountains high.

     

    A few peaceful valleys, where I've met some new friends.

    But now I am home, and at rest, once again.

    Greetings, LadyMidnight..

     

    It's not normal for me to post on welcome topics, but i'm desperate for a post...

     

    Anyways, I know it's not much of a welcome, but like I said, I don't post on these most of the time.

    I just wanted to say, that I really liked your personal statement:

     

    "We are all angels with only one wing - in order to be able to fly, we must embrace."

     

    I think it is very profound. Not to mention quite true. I feel fortunate in that I have found my other wing, my wife. 25 years together now. But it took a great deal of practice to learn how to fly together. We look back on some of our early attempts today, and laugh, because now they are quite funny.

     

    Seriously, we are all clowns here, it's just sometimes we forget that fact, and pretend to be something else. Sooner or later, we fall on our faces, and our noses honk, just like the clowns. At least I know mine does.

    Unfortunately I have not yet learned to fly and float on the clouds is not the same.

     

    Old birds know how to fly, even in the storm.

    young birds need to still learn in the storm.

    The key to flying in the storm, is learning to keep your face into the wind.

     

    Listen to your heart, because your heart tells you which way the wind is blowing.

     

    Always follow your heart, or you will face many regrets.

     

    But regrets can be your friends, if you learn from them, they are not so bad.

    Regrets can also be your worst enemy, so be careful about the decisions you make.

     

    You may learn from a mistake, but it shall still haunt your very being for the rest of eternity.

     

    Make up for those regrets by living life to the fullest, and following your heart where it leads you, not the other way around.

     

     

    (I may be only 17, but I've gone through things no person should ever have to experience. My regrets are few, yet scars are many.)

    I thank you guys for this true and instructive words.

    I'm not desperate. And I will not do anything, which leaves only despair.

    So do not worry. Like PureSnipe I've already had some experiences that you would be better spared.

    But we learn when we live but not if we imagine the life of hiding.

    Welcome to the Nexus!! I'd normally be faster in replying to a greeting, but I've been on the phone cussing Microsoft out for one of their updates corrupting a boot file, then when I reinstalled windows they said my product key had been used too many times for me to activate it. Needless to say it was about a two hour argument.... I won though!!!
