  1. I'm sorry, this can be removed, using NetScriptFramework I was able to find out it was Majestic Mountains Mod, don't know what it was doing but soon as I disabled it everything worked fine!
  2. OK so here goes, I tried to setup my skyrim SE how the youtuber ESO has his because I like how it looks. I followed all the steps on his setup page, which mods and what order basically, but I kinda messed up. I was installing and checking while I was in the tutorial dungeon, all went great til I tried to leave, get the loading screen, takes a minute and then skyrim just turns off, no error or anything. So figured I'd make a new game, same thing, loads for about a minute then pop back to desktop! Anyone have any ideas I'd really really appreciate it, game looks so sweet in the dungeon! I've been messing with this for over a week now and I'm stumped, any advise would REALLY help. Thanks for your time. Oh yea, used Vortex for install and Wrye bash for the bashed patch, did a Loot check on order, cleaned all the mods with SSEEdit that it told me to do, removed all the incompatibles, added any patches Loot recommended. Also just went back and did the SSELODGen/DynDOLOD install from the STEP project, thought maybe my LOD was messed up since Its happening outside but still nothing...again thanks...
  3. OMG never gonna believe it but got it to work...needed to change the oblivion.INI file with the fonts from DarNUI after that it loaded right up!! Can't believe something like that could make the game not start! Thanks, guess can delete this post, sorry!
  4. Sorry, not trying to bump just noticed something weird, when I load OBMM and go to Utilities>Save Manager it gives me an error with this as the save path: E:\Games\Oblivion\My games\oblivion\Saves, where would OBMM get this path from? I'm guessing any OBSE plugins that have to add anything to my save directory are not finding it because I don't see any pluggy stuff in there which i remember seeing in my old save directory. I even changed the directory in the oblivion.ini. Aaaaaand I didn't install from disks, couldn't find any of my DLC's so just bought GoG's GOTY version, know I'm using the right OBSE for that version cuz before I lost MyDoc's it was running fine. I changed the goglog.ini and goggame-(bunch of numbers).script file with my new save path, thought that may fix it but nope!!! And realize now I lost the file to reinstall cuz that was on the HDD too but I'd imagine I'd be allowed to D/L it again. Only thing i can possibly think of is how can I tell OBSE where my new save directory is or rather where does OBSE get that info from? Thanks again!
  5. Hey all, anyone know if there's any way to save an Oblivion install that lost it's save folder? Don't care about the saves cuz just recently reinstalled but got it running so smoothly with a buncha mods then my HDD with 'My Documents' folder died so I lost all my saved settings and the OBSE files that get saved settings to there. I managed to set a new path for a Documents folder and My Games which in turn got Oblivion to start BUT trying a New Games just crashes. When I look in the folder I made for the new documents Oblivion ain't even using it, see it made it's own folder in K:\Users\Jim\AppData\Local\Oblivion\My Games\Oblivion BUT before i made the new path to the new documents\My Games directory it wouldn't even start so got one step closer. If I try to start Wryebash, wryebash just crashes and won't start. Any hints to what I could maybe try would be appreciated, also if you know I'm SOL please feel free to tell me so I'll quit wasting my time trying. Was hoping everything would just make they're new ini's when I start up but no luck! Thanks again and happy questing! Update: I changed the paths in WryeBash's ini and now wryebash starts and loads Oblivion BUT still crashes on new game! Also in reply to qwertyzeldar I'm not using Steam, it's disk installed.
  6. OMG that's definitely it!!! Was almost positive that it wasn't a MOD just for the numbering but part of another. Can't believe you found it and THANK YOU!!! Was hating having to mouse over constantly. Also like that it combines a few different MODs into one so don't have to waste numerous spots in my MOD lineup. Owe ya a beer! Cheers! and Thanks again!
  7. Hey hey all...I reinstalled Oblivion for the...who knows what number time this is but I'm looking for a mod. I know it exists cuz I used it previously but can't find it. What it does is number the dialog replies like in other games so that you can just hit the number key to give that answer. I cannot find it nor even kind of remember what the name was. Don't even know if it was a MOD just for that or just happened to be part of another mod. Any help would really be appreciated! So annoying having to mouse over the replies whenever you talk to an NPC!!! Thanks and happy questing!
