  1. I see on Nexus that there are two different kinds of mods: the traditional type we're all used to, or the Unreal 5 version. Is that a thing? Am I just dreaming?

  3. What do you mean by that, exactly? Isn't Oblivion Remastered on a separate instance of vortex, So Fallout 4 mods shouldn't interfere with Oblivion Remastered
  4. It happens every time I try to launch Oblivion remastered from Vortex. I've followed the directions for the installation of OBSE64, and UE4SS, and have no other mods activated. Do I not need the UE4SS? I'm not really sure. It seems like whatever the error is, It has to do with Unreal Engine.
  5. Well I restarted and made mostly the same choices in Skyrim Unbound, all except choosing a preset (I chose Dovakiin previously) and for whatever reason, things seem to be fixed! YAY!!!
  6. I guess the only option I have left is to restart and be more careful what settings I choose in skyrim unbound. I don't know, maybe I chose a faction without realizing it. Is there a way to see what factions you belong to?
  7. I have about 115 mods running, but I am confident that they aren't causing the issue as they are the same mod list I used for a different playthrough. What's happening is that after I finish creating my character using the creation menu that Skyrim Unbound has you use when starting a new playthrough, I even had it drop me in Helgen to remain as close to vanilla storyline as possible, but when I get to Riverwood I am immediately viciously attacked by the guards. I have tried manually clearing my bounty for all nine holds using the "player.setcrimegold 0 <faction id>" command. I have tried opening the console while being attacked and selecting the guard and typing paycrimegold, but that transports me to to Dragonsreach front porch where all the guards immediately attack me upon load. I have tried attacking the guard briefly and then sheathing my weapons, and the guard still ruthlessly attacks. I have tried spawning a calm skill book but I don't have enough magika to cast the spell. What the hell is going on here? What can I do to fix it? Is there an ini value I can tweak or anything?

  9. Ok so I was just having this really tough time at one of the parts in the bloodwine expansion and I wanted to use the debug console enabler mod, but it wasn't compatible with version 1.32. So I followed a link to a mod that would roll back my game version to 1.31 ( https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3374). After following the installation steps exactly, I found that the DLC content wasn't loading, so I immediately reversed the installation steps, and yet, the DLC still wouldn't load. I then tried verifying integrity of game cache (on steam) and it did redownload the game. Still wouldn't load the DLC. So I uninstalled the game via steam, and reinstalled. Same problem. I noticed that when I uninstalled the game however, that steam had left several file folders under the Witcher 3 directory, which I would gladly delete if I knew that my saves would be okay. However, since I have no idea where the game stores my save files, I'm stuck in this horrible limbo. Can anyone provide some advice? Is anyone still playing this game? Thank you for any help you can provide!
  10. I've been Modding for over 3 years now, but have NEVER used a merged OR bashed patch! LOL. I'm currently working on learning how, and thanks to you guys, as well as all the other helpers like Gopher and Gamer Poets on YouTube, I've now got a much better idea of how this process goes. It's way more complicated that I ever thought, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now! Thanks for being awesome Modding community!
  11. So I've been talking to this guy on the sub-reddit /r/skyrimmodding, who has helped me with getting my mods straight, and all that that entails. I tried the forums but got no response (I'm assuming because no one is focused on skyrim atm). I would still like to thank the community for providing such an expansive and intuitive network for modding that even a n00b can use and, with a lot of trial and error, re experience the best game ever made in an entirely new way that brings all the magic back, and ditches all the aggravating stuff. You've kept me from going insane during an extensive period of employment due to being black-balled in my trade. So thanks for that as well! This is the Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/46r888/it_looks_like_i_may_have_gotten_a_bit/ Here are the end results I got LOOT Report: http://i.imgur.com/fQZhksN.png UValley Banchmark: http://i.imgur.com/eE67LDR.png SKOL!!! http://i.imgur.com/nSPhAWS.jpg
  12. Well, I have to say I'm not surprised I got 0 response. The game is old news and I'm a n00b. I would like to thank the Nexus Modding community and Gopher (the YouTube channel) for helping me sort out my horriblr mess that I made. Just downloading mods and using whatever program the mod author says in the description, without acutally knowing what is going on in my favorite game! I was using a plethora of mods installed 3 or 4 different mod managers, and without REALLY knowing what's happening. Thanks to Gopher and the Nexus' wonderful support and vigilance, I feel MUCH more comfortable with Modding and am enjoying my game like never before. I basically had to start over from scratch. I backed up everything and just hit uninstall! Freaked me out at first, but after having used 4 different mod applications, it was just easier. you may be gratified to know, however, that I have dome everything the right way (MO) and after working out all the kinks, thanks to Gopher's instructional videos! It's been a long journey, but I've got things whipped back in shape! I feel like I should get a certificate or something! Got MO organized: [MO organized](http://i.imgur.com/tK3mRcL.png), Cleaned masters with TES5Edit as per LOOT (only one file still shows 1 ITM, but I verified it was cleaned.): [LOOT](http://i.imgur.com/KQu7QLL.png).Now the game looks and runs better than ever! It's WAY more immersive, as well. This is the only troubling thing: [Now What](http://i.imgur.com/KNJ65Mx.png) Like I said for the most part, I notice ZERO problems, except that I just had it CTD (I suspect my GeForce 660 was to blame).Any Ideas?
  13. Ok, so it's been a while since I've gotten back into modding (since 2012), and I had been using a combination of Steam Workshop and NMM files. I decided I'd better go update the files that needed it, and that's where it started! So, actually you may be surprised to hear that it had been running smoothly at 40-60 FPS, although I'm not really certain if all were working together. So I learned all about the vast many improvments that mave occured in the last 2-3 years and downloaded/updated all my modding tools, save for mod creating ones, including: LOOT, TES5Edit, Wrye BASH, Mod Organizer, NMM. I've watched all of gophers videos on using TES5Edit and Mod Organizer to refresh my memory, and done the following: *Ran LOOT and optimized load order. *Used TES5Edit to clean my masters (excluding Skyrim.esm), but I'm seeing a lot of RED backgrounds and text as well. This is usually a bad thing, right? *Used Wrye BASH's Mod Checker and saved the info: Used Wrye BASH to create a BashedPatch file, which I've rebuilt upon each load order change. So, here's the only problem i'm noticing in-game: It's like the shader is conflicting with the light rays or something, making the shadow map render in strange places, with this sort of retina burn like shadows in the form of what you were just looking at, if that makes any sense at all (probably doesn't). I made a gif to attempt to show you this effect: but it won't let me post it here. here's a txt version of my load order, also: Any help would certainly be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
