Yes well before a writer writes a book, he tends to make an outline. That is what this is, just an outline. So if anyone wants to take this and use it and start a group to make it, then by all means do so. I'm just collecting ideas.

Okay as far as the Star Wars mod I have compiled a list of all of the things I would like to see I'll start with the basic frame works and then go into details later. I. FACTIONS: - The Empire: Obviously we're going for the Galactic Empire, not the Republic Stormtroopers. They would replace the Enclave and be holed up in the same spot. - The Rebels: Taking over the Lion's Pride faction, they would be fortified in The Citadel. Another possibility is they could take the script of Reilly's Rangers. - Jedi Council: They would replace the Oasis Druids faction, they could either be holed up in the same place or, and I've noticed there IS enough room for this, someone could make a Jedi Temple on top of the cliffs there. - Bounty Hunters Guild: I'm thinking of tossing out the Outcasts and throwing these guys in. - The Hutts: Taking over Tenpenny Tower! Obviously they are the "Gangsters." - Sith: I'm thinking we can put these guys in place of the Family, same kind of shadowy lifestyle. - Tusken Raiders: Replace the Super Mutants, and maybe throw in some Bantha models ;) II. PLAYER ABILITIES: - New Perks: Take out all of the old perks and put in Star Wars related perks, IE; Level 5 Force Initiate (Allowing basic lightsaber combat), LVL 10 Force Apprentice/Acolyte, LVL 15 Force Combatant/Assassin, LVL 20 Master Jedi/Sith. Force Powers could also be opened up, IE; Force Shock (Req. Force Assassin, LVL 16)[Obviously we would need a lightening effect, I think there already is one though.] And of course, each of the "Force" related perks req. its predecessor. If you didn't want to take the path of a Jedi, there's always other paths, such as Bounty Hunter(Taking this Perk at level 8 grants you the ability to join the BHG), Smuggler (Taken at level 8, allows you to join the Hutts, Rebel (Taken at level 2 or 4 obviously allowing you to join the Rebels eventually in the plot line), and Imperial (Same effect as rebel, same Req.) The Jedi council will only be tangible if you take Master Jedi at 20, and the Sith can only be reached by an emissary once you take the Sith Training. And off course, there will be perks that grant you increased "Agility" (a.k.a. armor DR for lighter armor) and Precision with blasters, etc. You can use your imagination for that. The SPECIALS will probably remain the same. III. NEW WEAPONS/ARMOR: - Weapons: This is obviously just a very basic idea of what weapons should be included: T21 Rifle, E11 Carbine, DC20 Rifle, Tusken Raider Rifle, Bowcasters, DC10 Pistol, Smuggler's Pistol, vibroblade, vibrosword, lightsaber, cryo grenade, thermal detonators, and ion grenades, ion pistols, scout blasters, etc. (Uniques being: Solo's Sidearm, Luke's Saber, Darth Vader's Blade, Chewbacca's Bowcaster, and Tusken King's Rifle) - Armor: Stormtrooper Armor (Modeled after T-51 perhaps as suggested), Rebel Gear (Hat included), Mandalorian Armor (Boba Fett's), Tusken Raider clothing, various sashes/bandoleers, Shocktrooper Armor, Jedi/Padawan robes, etc. (Uniques being Darth Vader's suit, only usable by a true Sith (Maxed bad karma AS WELL as normal Sith Req. To get Vader's armor you have to go through a quest line. The same goes for Skywalker's black outfit, etc.) IV. NEW MONSTERS/NPC MODELS: -Creatures: Considering this is a desert planet, I'm going to say that creatures should include swamp rats, baby krayt dragon's, possibly a sarlaac pit, bantha, dewbacks!! (this is a personal must), and anything else you think would be acceptable. - Droids: I'm thinking for this one, basic C3PO and R2 models, along with some Probots, Gonk Droids (aka Power Droids), Treadmill droids, etc. - NPCs: Any and all races you think are possible and are capable of being modeled. As for scripting, I see things like the Bounty Hunter's being the Talon Mercs, and hunting the player UNLESS they are in the BHG, then they recieve contracts. The Hutts take to themselves, Tusken Raiders attack anyone and everyone and everything BUT bantha, for domesticating purposes ;) V. POSSIBLE VEHICLE(S): - The only thing I think could be a decent vehicle and addition is the Scout Trooper Speeder Bike, it would be fairly small and the fact that it's hovering would be a better solution to the mod that makes a Motorcycle for Fallout considering the speeder bike won't be "touching" the ground, thus making realism possible in the harsh terrain. VI. CITIES: - As for cities this would kind of be hard to manage... though I see Paradise Falls being an easily modeled Mos Eisley. Tenpenny's tower of course being Jabba's Palace. Of course any idea's on this would be welcomed. VII. DIALOGUE: - I don't think it will be too hard to modify existing dialogue to intertwine Star Wars slang and or new dialogue, IE; Imperial's saying "Imperial Scum" during fight or something like that. It would be great if we could have people do some professional voicing. VIII. SOUNDS: - I'm just going to say what we all know, we would have to integrate a LOT of sounds for this mod, BUT it's completely possible. Sounds being blaster fires, animal sounds, etc. I'm pretty sure we'd have to get permission for those things though. -shrugs- I dunno. IX. TEXTURES/ARCHITECTURE: - I know it seems like I've asked for a lot, BUT we would probably need sand textures for buildings, maybe a little bit of sand through-out the terrain, metal doors like in the movies, and at least a basic similar architecture to the buildings of Tatooine. X. QUESTS: - The best thing to do would be to modify already existing quests, or take some out and add new ones. For example, the Reilly's Ranger quest, I can easily see that as a Rebel Scout party trapped by Tusken Raiders. Or the Main Quest could essentially stay the same? I dunno, suggestions welcome. *These are just the basics I could think up of off the top of my head in the last hour or so of typing ( x.x' ) so leave comments and suggestions or if you want to be part of a team we could try and form one to do this, or if you think its an impossibility then let me know. I'm sure there are some things that can't be done, BUT think optimistically, if we COULD get this going, think of how incredible it would be.* Thanks for your time in reading this, -Anubis

Ambitious Mod Project 2: The Vault-Spacecraft

Sorry but it seems my question was eluded somehow. Did you like any of the names or should I come up with more? Or should I start on something else like questing or dialogues? -

I'm not sure if you meant the "Names" of the "Celestials" or if you just want to change the name "Celestials" to something completely different. If the last is the case, then here are a couple I can think of off the top of my head: 1. The Ageless 2. Secon-gen (Second Generation Humans) 3. The Verboten (German for Forbidden, some would argue that their existence is against "God's" will, and I use that term loosely to avoid any religious debate as I am one of my own religion.) 4. The Reborn 5. Mortal Deities 6. The Endura (a basis of the word Endurance, meaning "bearing hardships, staying power.") 7. Eternals 8. The Amaranths (a synonym for The Immortals) 9. Unsterblichen (German for The Immortals) 10. The Unfading *Assuming that these names are relevant, my personal favorite would be "The Endura" sounds a little more science fiction which is what this mod is about. And it sounds original. **Let me know what you think, which one you like, and if there's something else I can do on hand. On a side note, I understand your friendship with Tony to be an inspiration to your modding, but perhaps you could make a mod that compliments his, and release one that could be stand alone for those like myself at the same time. I can't say I'm too fond of the armor, though if you're basing it off something I must say it looks rather interesting. I am just, myself, not a fan of boxy looking armor. But furthermore, I wish you good luck on what ever you're working on now, and let me know if I can be of assistance. -

I'd be honored to assist in any way that I can, however, as I am inexperienced with the Gundam series I am curious as to how this will work. I like the idea you've got going here, but I don't like that it's dependent upon the mod being made by Tony. I'll read up some more on the mod and think of suggestions/additions assuming you're still interested. -
Okay... sorry. Maybe I read over that section of the mod. -sighs- I think I'm going to give up. I have all these great ideas, but apparently none of them are valid.
-
So if I may ask, what do you think of my idea behind Zeon's story and his daughter?
-
Damn... I was thinking those were really good idea's too... Well, I'm drawing a blank. I find the current quest-line a little too close to the Fallout 3 Main Quest and a little to bland =[ But, that's just my opinion. As far as my thoughts on Dr. Zeon go, say the Girl is Dr. Zeon's daughter, and she's really an android, and the Faction is looking to study her internal and mental structure to better themselves, but in order to prevent them from creating this unstoppable force, the player has to infiltrate/assault the base, disable her (aka destroy her) before any more research can be done. SO, Zeon isn't too happy with the towns people's decision and takes the lesser of two evils (in his opinion), striking a deal with the Faction that if he gives them his research they will release his daughter back to him. That's just scratching the surface, let me know if you want more.

Okay sorry its been a while since I last posted, got a lot of schooling to do still, not to mention family affairs, but in either case I've come up with three main story lines that could work: 1. The Mayor is Corrupted - Obviously someone thinks the Mayor is corrupted and you go through a quest line to find evidence, eventually leading to the finding of evidence and the aggressive resignation of the Mayor. (Not sure if that would interfere with current quest line or not.) Quest Reward being the Key to the City of course. 2. The Town Gets Raided - The town gets raided and the Mayor is either killed and their second in command(?) sends you one a series of (infiltrations/attacks) on the Raiders main base, eventually leading to the fall of the Cyber-Raiders and the rise of Runner-Up Mayor (or as I'm going to start calling them, RUM). 3. The Mayor is Retiring - The Mayor realizes that in the light of all things, he has had a way to adventurous life and would like to settle down and live off his last few years in peace. He sends you on a couple (a lot) errand missions, and the quest reward in the end is the Key to the City, followed by the RUM taking their office. (On this note, assuming the player completed this quest, you could still have a follow up of the first suggestion of Corruption, I made earlier. Could make an interesting in depth story line that inevitably leads to the player receiving title of Mayor, assuming you want it to be so.) These are just brief summaries and if you'd like I'll get started on more in depth stories, but if you think they are all crap, I'll get back to work. Let me know your thoughts/opinions.

Sweet thanks, I'll look into it as soon as I figure out how to/if I can merge files into the vanilla fallout or at least merge them into one huge mod so I can better organize my 23 mods I have... Anyways, I came up with another idea! STAR WARS The Enclave would be the Imperials, and the Lion's Pride would be the Rebels. I know its kind of a major change to the game, but technically for starters all you would need to do is model a basic Stormtrooper armor and basic Rebel clothing, maybe add in a little star wars weaponry here and there... keeping in mind that not all of them are Jedi's, and not all of them deserve a super-leet lightsaber... With a little time and effort perhaps it could be done. At least in my mind it could be. And if anyone needs me to come up with story lines and quests I would be more than glad to do so.
-
So you and I have definitely bounced ideas off and your mod in itself is impressive. If you're still looking for a quest line for the the key I would be more than happy to give you some ideas. I enjoy doing that kind of stuff, and I'm fairly good at it. Just let me know if you're interested and I'll send you some. Until then, I'll get to writing some drafts.

To be honest I actually like the idea you're working on, even if it is a thing of its own. Perhaps as a suggestion since you're already working on something similar, there could a be a "mob" of sorts, and it works like a faction from Oblivion, you do quests and stuff and rise through the ranks in a small "mob" like town. But your idea is actually pretty good. It would kind of bring back a "disposition" affect from Oblivion which im not even sure why they would leave it out in the first place if they are going to give you the barter/speech skills. Fallout seemed to be a little unbalanced when it comes to the questing to killing ratio. Most every quest required a fight to occur, which I would like to avoid because after a while there's no challenge at all. To put it precisely, I'm just looking for more in depth story than killing. It takes more than one person to come up with a good idea, people need to bounce more ideas off of each other, and that's why I enjoy peoples input, even if at times its criticizing. Do keep me updated on the development of your mod, what ever the direction you may take with it.

First I'd like to say that opinions are welcome. Secondly, I would like to state that this is in fact a request, you don't necessarily have to like it. If you're looking for something to do other than murder all day, I would look into the RTS mod for Fallout 3. It's quite interesting, even if it is only partially developed. Here's a link: http://fo3settler.webs.com/downloads.htm Third, money can be used for all sorts of things, buying schematics, ammo, weapons for repairing, buying house upgrades, hell, even in the RTS mod it's used for building and upgrading. Those are just my opinions of stuff anyways, but thanks for the input.
